I am posting a new reply because
this evening was utterly unexpected
and wonderful🥰😎💞
I posted this on other threads
but wanted to re-post wherever
I mentioned them before😎💞🥰

I am deliriously overjoyed this
late Sunday evening September 18th.💓😁🥰😎💞
I have been tracking fireflies
for about 63 of my near 68 years
to date😎🥰
I have never known them to not be in hibernation this late👽😳
They are usually in hibernation the
day after Labor Day 😳
They made a lovely appearance 💞🥰😎
surprisingly to my utter delight on
Saturday September 10th.about 9:00PM
or so😎💞🥰
That is days after the day after Labor Day 😳👽😎
Then this evening about 8:45PM.
On this Sunday September 18th.👽😳
or so🥰💞😎
They made another very very 👽🥰
unexpected reappearance and were
zooming and swirling and diving
towards me repeatedly🥰😎💞
I thought I would not see them
again
until Summer 2023👽😢
Now I must survive these cancers 👽
which I am fighting with all the
willpower that I can muster
so that I will definitely be able
for sure to live to enjoy another
Summer of fireflies in 2023🥰😎💞♾️❤️
I really needed this wonderful🥰
thing that feels like very good 💞🥰
luck and a definite life giving ♾️💓💞
extension omen for me💞😎🥰💓❤️♾️
Thank you beloved magical fireflies❤️💓🥰💞😎

When do they come to your neck of the woods Randall😎❤️⁉️

I am very much excited to see them soon😎❤️
They showed up from 1959 to 2017 usually on June 21st.
Then something changed👽
They begin showing up on June 1th. From 2017
to 2022😎❤️

Wonder if their return will be a different day in JUNE⁉️😎❤️

I HAVE STARTED LOOKING BECAUSE WE HAVE HAD SOME ODD VERY WARM DAYS SO IT IS POSSIBLE THEY MAY RETURN BEFORE JUNE 11TH. 😎❤️😎❤️😎❤️

My vision is not totally back from the toxic eye drops that the CDC revealed because folks went blind, died and some had to have their eyes removed due to massive infections😭😭😭👽👽👽

I went blind for about 8 weeks😭👽🤬
However I should be able to see the fireflies and lightning ng bugs this season every though my vision is not perfect yet❤️😎

Have a lawsuit going on a contegency where we get 60%and the attorney gets 40%
if we win the lawsuit against the company😎

I am healing up pretty well from the major cancer surgery to remove a huge baby sized tumour and other things😎❤️

Feeling very weak and tired and the new intravenous infusions of a gene therapy made in mouse spleens makes me more tired but with luck I am on my way to healing and can go out looking ng from a lawn chair for the return of the fireflies again😎❤️😎❤️😎❤️

My opossums are back with babies too😎❤️

Hello Lexxi!

On June 29th I saw bunches of fireflies in Wisconsin. I have not yet seen any in Minnesota, but I've mainly been in the Twin Cities.

Remind me, what state you live in again?

And btw Randall, if you're still in GA, I am planning on being in Hot'Lanta, GA next spring for a National Chess Tournament (the other Immortal Game I like to play)!

Did you know International Chess Day is coming up on July 20th?

JUGA - IMMORTAL GAME

I'm still in Georgia. I used to be good at chess, but I've forgotten those skills. I didn't know about July 10!

Yes, we call them June Bugs here!

More about all that
http://www.southernliving.com/what-is-a-june-bug-7558225

Not a nice bug related to scarabs and or dung beetles.

Fireflies and lightning bugs are an entirely different creature.

Wow😳

Here the June bug is a nasty looking creature not a firefly or lightning bug.

I lived in Waycross, Atlanta and Valdosta Georgia as a child and only heard them called fireflies for the he most part.

They are distantly related but not at all the same.

Weird fact you can eat June Bugs😳🤮
