These are the ASC or Rising Signs of Chinese Astrology. This explains much in the way of compatability, because if your Chinese Signs are not compatible, you will still get along if your Inner Companions are. The Inner Companion can significantly alter the personality of the basic Chinese Sign...or it can reinforce it. More to follow.------------------

No, I'm speaking strictly from a Chinese Astrology viewpoint. With Western Astrology, there are many factors that affect compatability. When I say Sign, I mean your Chinese Sign. That combined with your Inner Companion denotes compatability. I should get to this during the weekend. ------------------

SandIMO of course the day is the most important pillar but it's a different branch of chinese astro from the one mentioned in the topic. i think that book i had is what most people know to be chinese astrology where the importance is on the year. the lucky element stuff you mention is known as bazi/ four pillars.. Yes I agree with you here, even though over all compatibility is imp. I have experienced that I usually adore people I am compatible with on the day pillar over the others. There is very good understanding between us and I find that holds more significance in comp ability from what i’ve seen. And yes it is bazi, this is the website I got the info on four pillars from:

Ahah and nice try with the dob but no that is not correct. My screen name is just meant to be my birth year and its reflection. According to this website my day pillar is female(YIN) soil. Oh wow. Sand that reading IS me. Everything in this reading is like me. The other one sounded similar to me but i didnt indentify with the intense obsessive behavior as such. I'm verry calm in nature. I have it bad both ways with the "need a partner to function bit" cause i am Lib Asc and Venus in the 7th in Tau. I need a alot of solitude for myself to learn but I have to admit having someone to share all i have with does balance me out better. As cheesy as this sounds, Love keeps the world going and the love we learn is either from ourselves or from others who become a peice of ourselves. So the need to share is very primal and basic for me. lol I can have times when i will cry like a baby because i miss someone or need a hug. Although no one would EVER guess that about me upfront (Pluto dominant). But thanks for the reading again .That is a good link
