Randall, ZenRia,

THANK YOU for your insight.

It's interesting that I'm just now learning about the interpretation of the moon in the 4th as I am settling into my role as a mother and finding that my relationship with my own mother is in a transformational stage. (Interesting to note - my mother and I both have Scorpio moons and with the equal house system, we both have them in the 4th house!) I'm also finding I have a deep fascination with my heritage and ancestors, something I hadn't thought as much about in my younger days. So it definetly feels right that I'm being introduced to the equal house system at this particular time in my life.

Astrology as a tool never ceases to amaze me.

Moon in 7th... lol... relationships. I feel happiest when I'm in one.

But it's sooooo hard to get into one coz of that Virgo sun.

But I really try to give my all in a relationship.

"You have the tendency to reflect your partner’s emotions or personality"

This one really got me. I try to like the things she like and hate what she hates, although moon in sag makes me tell her if i hate or like something.

Harpyr,

Oh yes, it sounds like you are really feeling the Moon in 4th house experience! How wonderful for you. And you are right, it is the perfect time for you to use the equal house system. It is corresponding to your life at this time. After all, it's really about learning and growing huh? You are doing that and astrology is one of your tools

Have fun!!!

X3me,

HaHa! You have found the secret of Sagittarius. It's hard to lie! Anyone with strong Sagittarius in their chart loves truth and justice. Even if they manage to hide it, it is there.

It's no wonder your Sag Moon has to tell it like it is

Yep if you don't want to hear the truth don't ask a Sagittarius Moon

X3me.....I hear ya re the trying to like the things she likes and hate the things she hates.....hey we're both Virgo's so that's what we do - we aim to please......then enter our Saggi Moons which throws all that out of the window

Yep, that's what I like best about Sagg's. Sometimes though it comes out so blunt, and just thát is só funny!
"oóóh my Góóód you have a bogey in your nose!"
My Sagg Moon boy doesn't mind to talk rude words to me, it is very freeing! And my Aqua Moon gets the bogey out of my nose, makes a nice round ball of it and splashes it right in his face. We laugh and we love!
How about the way they walk and are, so clumpsy! It is like they are a young puppy dog!

Blessings!

Yep. She knows my differences from her, but I still make an effort to be like her. lol. Did that make any sense?

Perfect example of bluntness: On a couple of dates she wore a silver lip gloss and silver eyeshadow (whatever you call them). I didn't comment at first, maybe it was just a passing fancy, but on the second date I blurted out, "You know, that eyeshadow sucks on you. Makes you look like a punk. All you need was to make you hair stand up. But, if you really like it I don't mind." (the last line probably came from my Virgo sun. ) Didn't say anything on the lipgloss. Probably coz it tasted like strawberry when I kiss her. lol

Lying is HARD... especially with me... got 4 planets in Sag, moon and ruler included. The best I can lie are half-truths and omissions, like:

q: "how was school?"
me: "fine." (actually in a lot of trouble, but remove that and everything is okay. lol)

And it usually involves my own problems (if I have learned my planets correctly, must be due to my Saturn in scorp) and even then I really can't look straight in the eye.

Cat: yeah... it's like we really want them to be happy but can't help but voice out what we think sucks or not.

I don't know. I was just being blunt, I wasn't trying to tease her or anything.

In fact, her loony lunar rising replied, "I am? Yay! I always wanted to be one!" ehhh...

ZenRia, you're great! Very good descriptions. I have 9th house Moon (in equal house system) and I live abroad. All my serious emotional relationships have been with foreigners, as well...I travelled the world constantly untill babies and other money priorities had me stop - then I started travelling inwards. But I always long for and dream about exotic places...I believe with this placement the grass is always greener somewhere else...
Like Harpyr, I was used to Placidus, which gave me a 10th house Moon. I also feel that description is very accurate, as I really have an emotional need for public recognition in my career, and my jobs have always given me some sort of "fame"...(Hopefully the 9th house indicates that worldwide fame is in front of me...my book will be out soon).
I have a question for you, that I earlier posted in the astrology forum:
What about the sixth house and the mother? I looked at some charts of women with very bad relationship to their mums, and they had had 6th house Moons. Someone replied to my question who had seen the same, but couldn't explain it. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Stellaaaaa,

What is your book about? Forgive me if you've mentioned it before but I don't know. 9th house is also publishing so your Moon there makes some sense. Do you have other planets in the 9th or 10th houses. Our natal charts are so intricate. There is so much tied together that it's sometimes hard to pinpoint one thing and say, "Ah ha, that's the reason!" I hope your book does well! With a 9th or 10th house Moon you could be well on your way!!!

I don't know why Moon in 6th house would indicate bad relationships with one's Mom. The 6th house is not the easiest place for any planet to be and when the Moon is there, it sometimes indicates sickness in early life (either of the child or the Mom). If the Moon is afflicted (rough aspects, in its fall or detriment), it could indicate a lack of nuturing ability. But this is a stretch in my humble opinion.

Do me a favor, when you look at these charts again, see if there are any other similarities in the charts (like Moon square Saturn or any other similar aspects). If you and others have seen this, then there is something to it! We just have to put on our detective hats and figure out what

To me, Stella, planets in the 12th house usually indicate some kind of karmic situation. The only thought that came to mind is that the 6th house is the opposite and perhaps this polarity indicates karma?

I will keep searching. If I find anything more, I'll let you know. As well, if you notice any other similarities, please let us know.

Thanks for all your kind words!

Maria

Thanks Maria.
I'll look at the chart of those women more closely when I have more time. I shouldn't be here at all, but this is all so interesting that I'm dragged away from work!
I don't have more planets in 9th/10th house, but my 10th house is ruled by Venus which is in my 3rd together with Mercur and Neptun, so I guess that's good for a career in creative writing..But I worked for many years as a journalist and a foreign reporter, are newspapers/magazines along with publishing 9th house or are news more 3rd house stuff?
My book is a about life in Greece, but as that one is off my hands and in the hands of the publisher now, I'm more concerned about a novel I'm about to finish. And that I have to work on NOW!

Stellaaaa,

To me, the third house would indicate news and magazines (getting out the word, communicating, propaganda).

Publishing would be a 9th house affair. When you write your book, you are not getting it out right away. It doesn't come out to the public until it's finished and published.

Now, having your 10th house ruler (Venus)in the 3rd house can be a GREAT indicator of a career in writing! And then you have your Moon in the 9th house, live abroad and write about Greece.

I just love it when a plan comes together !!

My moon is in my 12th house. I can see it. I don't want anyone else to see my emotions, so I hide them, except when my Cancer sun just pushes everything out. And I go through periods where I don't want to see anyopne I know, and feel like moving somewhere away from everyone I know, and not telling anyone where I'm going. I daydream about it.

Moon in the 1st house... emotional is the keyword here. I'm so moody to the point of being bipolar. Oh well...
