quote:

Square – indicates a very volatile nature, and a hair trigger temper. They often are too independent for their own good. Their early life was marked by problems and disagreements with their parents, where they were not able to get their way, and now as adults resent any interference to plans or actions. There is nothing subtle about them; they plow head-first into life, daring anyone to get in their way. They may suffer stomach problems later in life, from suppressing anger when they were younger.

No stomach problems yet but I do have a tendancy to "headbutt" people who get in my way without much regard for sustaining damage myself. In this respect i'm lucky my Mars is in Libra and somewhat diffused. If things don't go my way I do start seething with remarkable rapidity, however.

quote:

Oppose – indicates a tendency to feel isolated and uncared for, resulting in them trying constantly to get expressions of love from others, creating relationship problems. They can be very self-indulgent, in food, material comforts, and sexual requirements. Their can be problems in their relationships due to their mother’s interference

I certainly often feel isolated, and have to say i'm also something of a whiner due to that insecurity. I'm not self-indulgent that i'm aware of. My venus is also in Cappy with probably tones it down somewhat.

quote:

Square – Saturn pulls a wet blanket over your emotional outlook with this aspect. Often the root of this can be found in their early childhood conditioning, and it is difficult for them to overcome the resulting bleak outlook on life. They will find it difficult to express themselves in a loving manner until they come to grips with whatever is blocking their natural loving selves. Others will tend to avoid them, not wanting to be brought down by their negativity, decreasing their opportunities to have meaningful interactions with others.

Bang on, I have a 0 degree square in this case plus there's the small matter of my north node being on top of my moon too (yipes)

I have noticed I have been really attracted to those with the square from moon to venus, same as I have, and I have a real bond with those with the conjunction. I feel the conjunction, square and opposition all have similar problems, but those with the square are better with other squares, sounds funny I know.

hey, New,
(i like this name better than Wevil. )

hmm... i haven't seen any trace of the above so far... mayhaps the natural loving self is...unblocked?

hi natasha.
i think people with squares are lucky.
ya know... to have that challenge to work on and come out the stronger because of it. i have oppositions rather than squares.

well, in my case ive spent the past 4-5 years dealing with those kinds of blocks and now i just get over it (or under it? lol) by being an uber-cancer moon.

I was going through the archives here and thought these descriptions were very good.

Mercury
Conjunct – Indicates a direct linkage of the unconscious mind and the conscious reasoning mind making them intellectually aware of their emotional nature and responses to others. They will also be hypersensitive about what others think of them. They have a unique capability to access information stored within their unconscious mind. They will be very interested and involved in their domestic and family affairs

Thanks Illog - more help, I appreciate it.

Moon Trine Venus
True
I like good food and good clothes. I don't exactly portray fashionista-ism but i can spot a nice outfit, shoes, etc. and i do like to take a peak at the latest fashion as well as foretell the next trend. I am also the designated person in answering phones at home and at work.

Moon Trine Mars
True
I am active with my imagination - no matter the consequences. i usually jump in first then consider it later. My intuition is usually right on about people, places, and things - with a year or more, it comes into fruition for "major" projects and can tap into how a person feels or is doing at that moment. I do fight for what is right in my own way. My emotions are like a ride in an amusement park. there are no in betweens in my life's experience.

MY QUESTION: What does it mean to have your Moon Sesquiquadrate Saturn
I'm not sure how to read that one - is it like a lead by faith and not by sight type of thing?

I have Moon square Venus, and the interpretation is so right on! I DO have trouble telling the difference between types of affections, which leads me to not realize when a guy is just being a friend and when a guy is truly interested. I used to be able to be easy to be manipulated, but I learned my lessons in that. I'm learning how to be cared for and how to care for others now, and it is true about my early life.

I also have Moon opposition Mars, such a hard aspect to deal with, there can just be no cap on my temper. No substance abuse though! Parents are a pain. Learning self-control now.

These interpretations are so amazingly accurate that it's almost scary!

Hi,
how about an unaspected moon ? I have this, I read that it happens rarely, as the moon travels fast...

How should I interpret it? It's in the 8th house, in Taurus (singleton by element), conjunct Chiron (but chiron doesn't count, right?), and it rules my 10th.

Moon - Mercury

Oppose – produces conflict between their emotional nature and their reasoning ability. Their communications are often ruled more by their emotions than their head, which can create relationship problems for them. Others have difficulty understanding where they are coming from half the time, because their communications are erratic and tied to their feelings, not reality. They also have the tendency to talk you to death.

*nods* I do talk people to death.

I have a bit of a rhetorical question, though. What if, you have mercury opposite your moon, and you communicate with your emotions rather than your head... and your moon is in Gemini, meaning that you use your head and keep it levelled by rationalising your emotions... would you be reasonable all the same, or still emotional?

And what about moon opposing uranus?

I am quite the lunar person

Moon Opposition Mercury 7°10
I donno...this aspect is kinda loose...but according to astro.com it counts...maybe other people see it better than I can my self. lol But I can talk people to death sometimes.

Moon Square Mars 4°49
It's scary how accurate this one is. From the bottling up the anger and rage...but now that I'm older...I tell it like it is more.

Moon Sextile Saturn 6°00
I feel like I am growing into this one. I'm still a pretty spontaneous person half the time though.
