thanks, cat.

actually, his mars is in aries in first house. so is his sun.

well, i was enthusiastically sharing my thoughts about astrology and he got all in a huff. and sternly and literally segued into : LET ME GIVE YOU ADVICE...DO NOT BELIEVE OR THINK SO MUCH ABOUT THESE THINGS... etc...

oh, his saturn squares my sun, too. and i just felt the effects of it at that moment.

actually, i told him "crappy" means "******** " and i certainly didn't mean that about him. i meant instead that he was "brusque"... which if you look at it objectively enough, is true, what with a very strong first house. (my virgo mars wouldn't let me neglect making that distinction. )

and his mars conjuncts my moon which is not very comfortable for me, no?

it's not so much of wanting him to think good of me. it's more of not wanting to have him hurting inside.

i can personally attest that mercury in scorpio is a very powerful tool to have at one's disposal.

and being aware of its strength and power, i am consequently made aware of the onus to use it appropriately...yet sometimes, people have to be 'stung' in order to learn a lesson.

mercury in a sign that sees right through the other is a weapon not easy to wield...

Hi Taj
Hmmm, ok so there's a lot more going on here than just his Sagittarius Moon. Yes Sagittarius Moon like to give advice, preach but usually not in such a forceful way - it's not a "mean" Moon. That force shouted Mars to me. With both Sun & Mars in Aries in the 1st house they are very strong. (1st house is the natural home for Aries plus Mars is the naturally ruler of Aries)
Yes it sounds like his Mars likes to "spank" your Moon.

Without looking at both charts, it's impossible to see what goes on with you both. I don't have time to look at charts right now but I'm sure as we work our way through this course you'll get a much fuller understanding. A chart's just like a jigsaw puzzle - once you have all the pieces you see the picture

If anyone is bored they can look at these aspects and tell me what you think the chances are of he and I getting along for a business deal (him saying yes). Small talk is touchy.

Him: Moon Libra, Venus Capricorn, Sun Aquarius, Mercury Capricorn, Mars Aries, Jupiter Libra, Neptune Scorpio (singleton only water), Uranus Leo, Saturn Sag, Pluto Leo, North Node Scorpio.
Ascendant possibly Libra.
Reminds me of Pisces.

Me: Moon Cancer 8th, Venus Aries 4/5th, Saturn Taurus 5th, Sun Taurus 6th, Mercury Gem 7th, Mars Sag 1st, Jupiter Virgo 10th, Neptune Scorpio 12th, Uranus Libra 10th, Pluto Virgo 10th, Midheaven Virgo, North Node Pisces 4th.
Mars on Ascendant 0.1 degrees Sag.

His Saturn is on my ascendant but so does my ex, and husband so I am not sure that is a bad thing.
I have a Grand Water Trine so I am moody and sensitive, he answers questions like Frankensteins monster, GOOD, GRRRR BADDDD GRRRR, MAYBE GRR like pulling teeth, not much clarification there, my attempts to be funny are not appreciated, and I am too feminine to be a buddy.

Like I said, if you are bored, just when I think everything is resolved, it's not.

Thank you,
Natasha

I have a Virgo moon and that makes so much sense. 100% It explains a lot.
Both my daughters have Moon in Scorpio. Kind of depressing. But I can see it in my older daughter(5) As far as being very emotional and hurting.

Wow,

The discriptions for the Pisces moon are really accuarate for me. That was really great, good job. Eveything is so true, I didn't think the Moon had so much to do with personality. Its intersting the effect the Moon has square to my Saggie sun...

in emotional keywords for moon in sag u have mentioned 'narrow minded' which is exaclty opposite to what u have mentioned in the concluding paragraph...'open minded'. me thinks the latter is true.

So Prince or Princess Leo Moon, you know we love you. How could we resist? Just remember that we can sometimes actually be right too!

Ahh hahahahahahahaha!!! Just shared this with my mum, she nearly peed herself... When I was younger (about 17, I think) my mum got my boyfriend at the time to get me a little crown and sceptre as she always referred to me as ''Princess Jaymee''.... I still have the crown... hahaha!! Now I know I'm not alone!

Moon in taurus one was VERY TRUE for me!!! This is so very true: "Music soothes the savage Moon in Taurus beast."

I also liked how at the end it says "Remember, change is the only constant!" Hahah I ALWAYS forget this! Makes for an unhappy bull moon to not have security.

And yea, i've always felt 'different' .. been waiting for ages for the mothership to come and take me back home...into yonder galaxy. Yup, may the force be with us all!!

FINALLY! A nice (and accurate) interpretation of the Virgo Moon.

Detached, Aloof, Vulnerable, Professional, Critical, Shy, Efficient, Modest, Helpful, Hard-working, Conscientious, Practical, Reasonable, Wise" Uh-huh...yep, yep.

I hesitate to call any notice at all to people with their Moon in Virgo. You are rather shy and retiring, not requiring lots of attention for your own needs. Moon in Virgo people prefer working behind the scenes, keeping everything going, making sure every detail is taken care of. Many may consider you unemotional or cold, but this is not correct. The truth is you are quite sensitive and your feelings are hurt easily. To hide this fact you try to give the rest of us the impression that you are aloof and professional. You are your own worst critic and you suspect people will judge you harshly so you keep your emotions under wraps. You show your care and affection by doing things for the people you love, like cleaning up after them, cooking, running errands, repairing things. You enjoy serving others and you have a deep understanding and concern for the welfare of all God’s creatures. You may put your compassion, practicality and efficiency to work in a healing profession. This is your forte…you help the rest of us heal.

Moon in Virgo people are witty, considerate, tolerant and easy to get along with. You care for the rest of us with grace and kindness, always willing to see the good in us. When you let your guard down, you can be sensual, creative and compassionate.

Very good.

Okay, exceeeeept this part. (for me at least)
Oh my Moon in Virgo friends, you are not going to like what I have to say next but here it goes. You need to learn to RELAX. Try to be just a little rebellious and defiant. Go ahead, try! See, now doesn’t that feel good??? Now, repeat after me, “I couldn’t care less!” All right, I realize I’ve overstepped my bounds now

Must be the strong Uranus in me....

Anymore Virgo moons in the hizouse?

I would have to agree with 26taurus's comment... that was one of the most accurate interpretations of the Virgo Moon that i've ever read.
But I'm pretty rebelious and defiant by nature, too.

my moon is in Leo and.. well, like a Leo.. it's pretty much dominated my sunsign, asc and all my 1st house placements (except maybe my pluto rising..) my bright moon kicks the butt of *almost* every scorpio placement in my chart!!!

Hi maroon flower,

Thanks for your post. I'm back. 2004-2005 have been long, very tough years so I haven't posted for a bit.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Moon definitions. With a Cancer Moon and Midheaven, I FEEL like I have a good read on this :-)

Maria
