Venus in Aries

Here Venus become almost a Martian expression of desire, often not content "to let be" but, rather, "to do" [Aries]. When entering a relationship [Venus], this person needs to know that the other is a desireable, sought-after "item", and that achieving them will be a challenge, and therefore a suitable goal [Aries]. At least initially, that aspect must be present so that the V in A person can feel themselves at the striving end of something worthwhile for their initiative [Aries]. Once in love [Venus], they are likely to be loyal and trustworthy, if somewhat reckless and thoughtless of the consequences of their newest ventures, as well as inadvertantly selfish (if not made aware of the nature of their actions) [Aries].
The bold and the exciting [Aries] stimulate their sense of beauty [Venus] - a tightly corregraphed car chase or a skydiving trip are more likely to elicit the response of their senses than any degree of calm and gentle beauty; and they'll probably be drawn to the idea of a righteous crusade (led by them, of course) [Aries] as the expression of their love of any kind [Venus] rather than silent or cirucumspect meditation.

All these are really good.

Then comes mine I’m trying!

Someone with Venus in Aries is a go-getter where passion is concerned. They see what they want and nothing stands in their way (Aries). They have a rough and dominating quality (Aries). Yet, they also have an ideal vision of love (Venus). They enjoy the hunt and chase (Aries) of the object of their affection (Venus).

They also like the newness of first attraction (Venus/Aries ??). They want to protect and defend their mate (Aries). Can be overly aggressive in the pursuit at times (Aries). Although, they still hold onto their boyish/girlish charm (Venus/Aries ??).

That’s all I can put into words. I promise I do “get it” more than it appears

Ok, I best do it right this time...

Venus in Aries...is exciting (A) and even a little dangerous (A). It's attracts (V) with a neon sign that says, "Baby, with me life is never boring" (A). It wants (V) to be swept of it's feet (V) in a fiery (A) show of passion (A) and initiative (A). It's inspired(A) to go where no man has gone before (A), and be the first...date (V), kiss (V), boyfreind (V), life partner(V), whatever. It wants (V) to be FIRST (A).

Another big part of the Venus in Aries appeal(V) is how refreshingly straighforward (A), and upfront (A) it is. It doesn't put on airs like so many of the other signs. No, Venus in Aries attracts (V) with a complete lack of airs, and an unabashed honesty (A) that is truly rare.

Hi Sunshyne
Great interpretation

I have two questions for you.....

Re: No self-respecting Venus in Aries person would decline an invitation to take the day off work and take you to the beach or stay home and make love(Venus) all day (Aries).

Do you think Venus in Aries would wait for an invitation or are they more likely to initiate one?

2nd question
Re: You'll never be bored with Venus in Aries if you are grown up enough to understand that they're like little babies.....all they need is lots of love and a ridiculous amount of attention.

I see a little bit of Leo creeping into this sentence....is this someone you know

Hey Proxieme

Hi 1Scorp
You did a great job

Re: The sentences you had question marks in....
They also like the newness of first attraction (Venus/Aries ??).

That sentence includes both ie: first (Aries) and attraction (Venus)

And re:
Although, they still hold onto their boyish/girlish charm (Venus/Aries ??).

Charm would be Venus.

Hi Lioneye
Great job

Re:
It wants (V) to be swept of it's feet (V) in a fiery (A) show of passion (A) and initiative (A).

"wants" tends to be more of a Mars/Aries word... "desires" would be more Venus. I know they both mean basically the same thing but desire is a softer more venusian word - if that makes sense?

Are we ready to move onto Venus in Taurus?

Here's the link to Taurus from Greg's lesson at the beginning of this course.....
http://www.consciousevolution.com/Academy/Free/Week4-2.htm

and here are some keywords for Taurus to get you started but I'm sure you'll all come up with great keywords of your own.

Taurus
Taurus is determined, efficient, stubborn, cautious, placid, persistent, enduring, introverted, conservative, conventional, materialistic, security conscious, stable, industrious, dependable, and one generally having significant financial ability. Fixed Earth sign.

Hi Cat!

Yup, they'd be more likely to initiate one...I was talking only in the context of soothing their ruffled feathers when they're in a funk about not being given enough attention.

I know a few Aries placements who can be very demanding about the attention they think they should be receiving. You saw my Leo peeping through there?

Aries takes great pleasure(v) in challenges(a) and will be dynamic(a) and spontanious(a). Aries will generally find the beauty(v) in most situations.

Sorry Cat, more late homework, but I'll be brief.

Venus in Aries is like a gardener (Venus) who skydives (Aries) to work (<-- Cat, you used skydiving already but I thought it apt). Love (Venus) is an exciting game (Aries) that begins with instant gusto (Aries) to unite in bodily passion (Venus) and a meeting of spirit (Aries). The beloved (Venus) becomes an object(ive) desired for newness, elusiveness/level of challenge, and intensity of interaction (all Aries). To be courted (Venus) by such a person, is to find oneself the centre of one-on-one (Venus) attention, which is exciting and stimulating (Aries) but entails an expectation of intense reciprocity (Aries). Fire needs to be fed! Love (Venus) and passion (Aries) flare like a firework (Aries), and can fade just as quickly (Aries), but until it does, Venus in Aries is the James Bond of all the Venus placements.

Sister: I think you did an excellent job! I was thinking and thinking on what to write and those words just wouldn't meet with my thoughts

I agree on the James Bond description!

I was wondering Cat... that bit helped give me a "visual" of the type of traits that could be compared to Venus in Aries.

Can we all do that with each of the Venus placements? It helped me out so much!

Hi Melissa
Don't worry, you're not late. I was just trying to get things ticking along but we can still always go back to the different signs. I'll do a total summary post of everyone's interpretations once we've covered all the signs.

Great post by the way - you obviously understand Aries Venus

Hi Lunargirl
Don't be sorry, you're not late.
Great interpretation and I loved where you said "Venus in Aries is the James Bond of all the Venus placements". How true is that Action (in more ways than one ) could definately be his middle name

Hi 1Scorp
You did a great job yourself

Not sure what you mean re "can we do that with each placement". Do you mean Venus in Aries ie: James Bond etc?
Yes great idea, it will be fun to do that

Hey there 1scorp~
Yours like mine was short but with depth (I think)...LOL there I go thinking again
I tend to have so many thoughts running around in my head that it takes me forever to figure them out ! Its got to be our Scorp Sun/Libra Moon working. We seem to need to "know" everything (S) and once we think we "know" weigh (L) it all out!! Can be a bit frustrating at times huh?
Good luck on the next one

Thanks, everyone! Glad we can mix up our 'straight' interpretations with some fun stuff... that's fine by me!

Would you believe I based my paragraph on two women I know with this placement? They're beautiful, feminine gals, but there is just something dashing and adventurous about them, especially regarding their love lives!

morgana -- another VenusGemini here.
