Speaking of Venus in Taurus, I have Sydney Omarr's book called Cooking with Astrology. The recipes for each sign are so revealing. I could post the Taurus dessert ones from the book.

Hmm, Venus in Taurus.

I'm going to make a list of keywords to help myself along.

Sensual
earthy
patient
loyal
cautious
dependable
luxury
beauty
smell
touch
senses
music
good food
bubble baths
champagne
candlelight dinners

Venuses in Taurus will think long and hard about whether it's their hearts (Venus) that want you or just their hormones (Taurus). Ones they've decided that it's both, you don't stand a chance. They will romance you (Venus/Taurus), woo you(Venus/Taurus), dine you (Taurus), like you have never been romanced, wooed or dined before. If they've decided you're worth the chase, they will plod steadfastly after you no matter which corner of the world you try to escape to and wear down your resistance bit by bit by bit till you finally melt and give in (Taurus). Few placements are as patient, as persistent or as downright determined (Taurus) when it comes to hooking someone they desire as Venus in Taurus.

Seeing that they are given more to the earthy (Taurus) plane, you may sometimes wish everything didn't have to be so tangible(Taurus) in order for them to understand what you are talking about. They may understand better how clean your hair smells or how smooth your cheek feels rather than how you tremble with emotion everytime they are close. They may not be able to understand your emotional needs unless you express them explicitly because of how in-their-faces they need everything to be in order to relate.

Venus in Taurus is an intensely romantic, affectionate and sexual placement, so you will need a big warm heart and bushels of energy to match. If you're not a party animal, that's fine with them - a home-cooked meal, soft music, dimmed lights, and beautiful, clean sheets is all you need to keep your Venus in Taurus mate home all night.

If you can teach them to feel with their hearts and not just their hands, to talk with their eyes and not just with words, to hear not just with their ears but to listen with every fibre of their being, you will have a sturdy, dependable, loving mate for as long as you choose, because as far as they're concerned...that choice was made by them the day they decided that you were worth the chase. Venus in Taurus is not a big fan of expending energy without a cause. Permanence is a big thing with them (Taurus).

All in all, your Venus in Taurus mate will offer you lots and lots of love (Taurus/Venus) and a tastefully furnished house (Taurus) to come home to, if you can repay them with the same kind of intensity and loyalty (Taurus) they offer you.

Hi Ujala
Good to see you here
I hope you'll post your own thoughts/interpretations for Venus in the different signs - that would be great.
Just "shout" if you need any help.

We're currently working on Venus in Aries and Venus in Taurus.

Ok heres my Homework....This one was hard for me I don't have too many taurus's in my life
Venus in taurus is a subtle (taurus)affair(venus) . Taurus is seroius and discrimate (taurus) ,but that does not mean that passions(venus) are not felt deeply. Still waters run deep. As they approach most things, romance(Venus) too will be approached with caution( taurus). Someone with venus in taurus will usually not be found looking for love(venus), per se what gives them pleasure( venus) is dependability( taurus) and stability. (Taurus). Taurus exempliefies dependability ( taurus) keeping there feet fimly planted to the ground ( taurus). You will not find them being swept off there feet ( venus) ,but that does not mean there passions (venus)are not running deep. They just aren't the type show it. Imagine a strong tree whose roots are firmly planted and run deep into the earth this is taurus. If you are interested in someone with there Venus in Taurus then you might try being as stable as the earth they plant themselves too. Give them something they can secure themselves too and they will embrace (venus)with endurance( taurus) and persistance( taurus).Venus in taurus will find great pleasure (Venus)in seeking out what is secure for their future( taurus) financial dependability (Taurus) Try appealing to their materialistic side by reflecting the finer things in life.
Home( taurus)is where the heart(Venus) is definitly describes venus in taurus . The planet Venus rules Taurus so the vibrations of needing a secure and stable ( taurus)love affair (Venus) will be stronger.

Cat my dear Virgo teacher... I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgot about Taurus.

I just remembered that one of my Ex Geminis had that placement. I'm trying to remember everything I can... well, that's the easy part... getting on paper is the hard one

I liked it MICA!

Alright... I'm back

I felt so guilty for procrastinating (spelling?) that I had to run up-stairs, grab my pen and get busy. What is it with you Virgos making me feel guilty?!

Alright... this what I've come up with.

Venus in Taurus

Someone with venus in Taurus has an old-fashioned way being romantic (venus). They enjoy the flowers, (venus) dinners, (Taurus) and music (venus) of romance.

They are possessive (Taurus)of their mate. This person can be overly generous (venus/Taurus??) with gifts (venus).

This is the type of person that will bring roses (venus) to your mother (I know cancer.. but still true).

They can be overly concerned about a mates financial (Taurus) status.

They provide a person with a safe, comfortable (Taurus) relationship.

That's all I could really think of.

Yeah, I'm still here...quiet for once in my life

I am going to a birthday bash (just some people meeting at a bar int he village) for my Cancer buddy who happens to have BOTH his Mars and Venus in Taurus. So I'm taking it all in. We went to college together and whenever I'd bump into him, he would always flirt a bit...quite a bit but I never took it seriously until he showed up at my birthday party and actually just came out and kissed me. I know an Aqua with Mars in Taurus who was kinda similar in that respect with me...but I guess we'll move on to Mars later.

So sister's interpretation of Venus in Taurus seems right on from my limited knowledge...patient, determined (well, stubborn ) and with a sensual approach.
