Thank you. Astrologers can differ but that has been my experience from doing charts xx

I've been thinking about what the 7th house was exactly about, especially becase I have 3 personal planets there and wanted to understand how they work. And I think I understand it better now than I did a few months ago. I remember I said I did not understand how a house in your chart could be about others when it's supposed to say things about you. I still think so but I guess I understand better now what "loss of identity" implies.
To me 7th house planets (and to an extent I have found people with 10th house planets do the same) are planets you don't really own. I don't really own my moon, mercury and venus when I'm by myself. Not that I feel disconnected from my emotions or my mind or my aesthetics values BUT, as much as I hate to admit it, I find myself using them a lot more in a context of a relationship. I own them through others and while I interact with them and not in any other scenario or context. I don't think I look for people who have the qualities of those planets, but I do attract them and at the same time they allow me to use them. My moon, mercury and venus are primarily linked to and concerned by relationship matters above all.
It is a lack of identity in a sense because you're not self sufficient. I've always looked for genuine, and meaningful relationship, not necessarily romantic but I wanted something true because I had this inner feeling of loneliness that I Couldn't stand. As time went by and after experiencing loneliness on a physical level I can admit that I hate being alone. Living by myself was like being a dead zombie who had no meaning and purpose in life. I need people, I need relationships and having a home to go to is very important to me.

I have a lot of houses in the 7th house... my big problem is that i LOSE myself in the other.. not just my mate but friends too.. i'm VERY focused on them.. usually they seek me for advice and counsel and I put way way more into the relationship than vise versa..I lose myself in the process of giving advice 24/7 its tiring.. I am trying to balance but its very hard.

Thank you Awakener
That was my point in the article. It seems like it would be very hard. I am freaking co-dependent and I have a 9th house stellium and nothing in the 7th

I sun in the 7th in Leo and don't feel I need a partner though.. my thing now is that i really think I will be single for the rest of my life. i'm not sure I really want a mate at all. Its not for me.. and i have a lot of things in my 7th, sun, moon, mars etc. moon is very close to 8th though. venus is in 8th. my moon and venus squares uranus so maybe that is why i really don't care if i have a mate or not. I can be alone and be ok. i feel at peace with it.

Well, are you giving up on the whole idea of a mate, as it is so difficult from the loss of identity thing?

Hmmm that is partly the motivation. I need to work on my codependent issues.. i really become whatever the person wants me to be at times and i know its because i have low self esteem.

Yes, it sounds very hard. Look up the asteroid Juno. I bet some asteroids are prominent which could help round out the story. Your words have encouraged me on my Astrological endeavors, as I am all about doing charts and coming to conclusions, even if they may be different from mainstream Astrology. I just want to get at truth. If I have to slay some sacred cows along the way, so be it

Juno Aspects Saturn: The partners will tend to be older (in spirit if not in actual years). With the harmonious aspects (sextile and trine) partners are likely to be solid, practical, and dependable, but, unless there are other indicators, don't expect them to be the life of the party. Conversely, partnership could bring out the solid, practical, and dependable side of you.The stressful aspects (conjunction, square, and opposition) may cause marriage to be delayed, or even denied. If you have this one, try not to get married before your first Saturn Return (which occurs around the age of twenty nine). Stressful aspects between Juno and Saturn can have a similar effect to Saturn placed in the 7th house. An early marriage (before the Saturn Return) will slowly decay until there is no affection left and the marriage collapses. Juno/Saturn stress aspects can also indicate someone who makes a bad marriage for "practical" reasons, such as security. They will also be prone to stay in a bad marriage to protest their social image, or because "a half a loaf is better than none." As if there is anything "practical" about having a bad marriage! These people have to learn to cut their losses and make a fresh start.

that explains why a huge part of me doesn't want to marry. ugh...

How close? It must be close to exact to count. What are the houses and signs of both?

How profound! Thank you for explaining this so well. May I add it to my article? If so, what name do you want me to use for you?

Thank you, I'm glad I could finally explain it somehow. You can use it any way you want and there's no need for my name. It is all thanks to your articles, you use a lot of powerful keywords, which upon reflecting on them definitely enlighten and help my understanding .

You can feel it and it would do something, but it would not overwhelm you. I will feel way about my moon conj Mars at 9 degrees.
I am usually calm but if someone hurts someone I love, I go ballistic.
