Ceri said that the 2nd house can be a house of self esteem. I have struggled, a great deal, with trying to lift up my self esteem from childhood abuse.
The 2nd house isn't just finances. It's all of our possessions, material and metaphysical, including our talents. Saturn in the 2nd might cause you to doubt your own worth. I have the same problem, but for different reasons. My Saturn is in the 9th house. (Reads interpretation from Cafe Astrology) Ah ha! This could explain why I have no interest in traveling, like people with 9th house placements usually do. "You are unlikely to take to flights of fantasy or fancy ideas." Well, I daydream, but I never act on those daydreams.

I have Saturn in 2nd house and Capricorn is the position of the house. But I also have one more planet in 2nd house: SunI do relate very much to the Cap/Saturn in 2nd house. I'm EXTREMELY stingy. With money and material items. I like counting change. I don't like wasting anything, even water/electricity/etc. I'm careful while shopping and to only buy what I need or want really badly...though spending money on others come a little easier. I feel like I'll never find any job better than my minimum wage paying part time job. I don't feel like I have any experience career wise therefore I have no acquired skills. In fact, I have no skill whatsoever. Never did sports, can't sing, can't write, can't play any instruments (I have tried playing drums and ice skating but my Gemini moon never lets me keep any hobby!) I feel like the only thing I'm "good" at is astrology. It's something I feel like will stay with me forever IP: Logged |

I have Saturn in the 7th house. I read that this placement is difficult in relationships and one who has this placement shouldn't get married until after the age of 29. Is this true?IP: Logged |

Well, I don't know about the exact age of marriage but the area of relationships will be the area of your having to learn lessons of maturity, but Saturn rewards you for you efforts, so you should be able to have a wonderful relationship after you go through the learning of your lessons. I am finding that with my Saturn in the second. I have had to discipline myself and learn to deal with the material world better and now I am reaping rewards. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. For me, Saturn is in the 4th -- squares Pluto in 1st and sextiles Sun in 6th.My parents split when I was 4. I was raised by my mom and my dad is inconsistent (to put it nicely) when it comes to just about anything. I've never known any of my grandparents; all of them either died before I was old enough to know them or never showed any interest in spending time with me. I hoped to "fix" this aspect of my life by having my own children someday, but that's proving to be difficult. I'm married, but I'm still only 19, so perhaps Saturn's influence will cause me to have the family I desire later in life. IP: Logged |

Welcome Aries Yes, it sounds sad! The good thing about Saturn is that it rewards diligence and it helps one mature, such that they can be successful in Saturns house. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

This wasn't to me originally, but I have a 3rd house Saturn as well. Communicating has been difficult! I was a rather shy person (I also have a 12th house stellium Sun, Venus, Mercury in Virgo), though it's something I've overcome. My Saturn also squares a multitude of my planets (depends on how wide you interpret a square with orbs). My Saturn is at 14* Sag. My Sun is at 14* Virgo Mars is at 9* Virgo Venus is at 18* Virgo (all 12th house). My Moon is at 11* Pisces (conjunct the 6th house cusp). IP: Logged |

I have Saturn in the 11th house. i usually get on better with people much older than me rather than people in my age group. I can't really relate to people in my age group, please they treat me pretty poorly for what ever reason. I've always felt different from my peers, but maybe that's my sun opposite Uranus? Also my mars in square my Saturn and I'm not the type of person to go looking to make friends. Any friendships, or superficial interactions I ever had was because someone started up a conversation with me rather than the other way around. My friendships don't last very long either. Why, I don't know.IP: Logged |
