Topic: really lame question: why do people read monthly horoscopes?

it doesn't make much sense to read them for the sun sign, does it? since the houses it relies on are the wrong wayand if it's the ascendant? is that to be trusted? or is it purely marketing? IP: Logged |

The sun sign horoscopes are really not accurate,the ascendant sign is. And even if you do look at the horoscope with your ascendant sign, it still won't be 100% accurate because it all depends on the persons natal planets & where they are situated. Monthly horoscopes are good for beginners in astrology, or for those who are interested in astrology but don't even bother studying their own charts. I'm not against it but still I prefer looking at my own chart & interpreting it on my own.IP: Logged |

Well, I rarely read it, and I do it out of curiosity. But afterwards I dont remember what I read, the advices or warnings, etc. So... Maybe it all goes to the subcounscious mind  IP: Logged |

. . . why do people read monthly horoscopes?Many of us start out reading a monthly at least once in our life. Why? Some things that predict our future in one form or another draws our attention. If the reading is good, we look forward to the experience. If the reading is bad, we want to plan, to avoid the situation. If Astrology could be scientifically proven to correctly predict individual gamble winnings, we would all be gamblers, I think. slowpoke
