Having virgo ascendant/aries mercury in the 8th house creates a pretty chaotic and intense mind! But with my mercury squares uranus, neptune, NN, and chiron, does this create even MORE friction and dilemma? I've also read that square uranus adds innovative thinking and square neptune creates great storytelling (I have to agree!)

But do most squares just manifest as agitation and friction within their placements? Opinions? Personal stories?

I have atypical opinions from many people. I will say that off the bat.

I think the square is a stuck energy which one must work around, but will never unlock. It is a stress energy. I suppose a stress energy can build character. I can see this. However, it will be character, such as a wound may heal around a pebble or a foreign object. It may form a scar, but the scar will be there.

*I* see a square that way. Again, I am not in the majority.

Hi, JDlivesideways6 and welcome to Lindaland!!

Technically and theoretically, squares are negative aspects. Good can come out of them, though. In fact, many successful, accomplished, ambitious, strong people have very challenging charts. It pushes one to grow beyond their limitations and yes, that is usually done through friction and tension, but it pushes you forward if you are willing to go that way.

Many many people have at least one square in their charts.

The primary aspect "square" indicates the potential for one to defend a position. It suggest, that the energy is present for others to challenge you. How well the square is used in your life depends on you.

Knowledge is the key. By knowing you have squares, helps in your effort to keep unwanted reactions in check. Your MY 90 UR, suggest that you may have a quick temper - the hidden benefit is that you may catch on quick to others trying to pull one over on you. MY 90 NN could mean that your personal communication with the public at large is not being received clearly - the hidden benefit is that, you may learn how to have others convey your message. MY 90 NP could mean that other people always seem to lie. And in your frustration with the people who do not do, what they say they are going to do, you become more dependent on yourself for getting things done right. Neptune is associated with telling the truth and with lying. It does not take any imagination to tell the truth (sextil/trine), it does to tell a lie (square). So your - MY 90 NP, does enhance your ability to fabricate fictional events. Weather or not they are of the literary vocation - depends on you.

So, in saying all of this, "squares" tend to bring excesses out to the forefront. Learn how to manage those excesses, in a deliberate calm, and the "squares" will bless you with their hidden benefits of successfully navigating through ruff waters. You will have to learned how to find the "silver lining in the clouds" of every challenging situation, you are confronted with.

P.S.
This is, easier said than done.
But, it is doable.

How do you find all of this information? Is there a site I can come across everything, from all of my planets/signs, in which houses, to even deeper information?
