Thanks I know this because she reminds me a bit of my brother... people with sun in aspect to neptune are always creative, actually those with the square are particularly creative I believe... But sometimes it is not enough apparently to have this creative outlet, her feelings must have been too overwhelming. I blame it on her pluto, it seems to be very afflicted too. So her feelings might became more and more dark in periods of depression, and it seemed impossible to escape. She has jupiter in 12th house in aspect to saturn like me at 0 degrees like me. I don't know why, but this makes people manio depressive in some kind of way no matter what. Cause these two planets are the completely opposite of each other, and saturn can make jupiter totally depressed with it's realism while jupiter just want's to be idealistic and optimistic (especially in 12th house probably) but it is also very sensitive in this house. I really think that mars square pluto must have been the final move for her, it's such a destructive aspect. Somehow it must have turned self-destructive for her, though it's usually an aspect that is seeking to destroy others. Maybe it turned inwards because mars was in 1st house of inner self. Well.. the more I look at her chart the more it make sense. Actually I can't see how she could have survived Pisces can be very stubborn actually...if they really wan't to die, nothing can stop them... even though she was creative, idealistic, kind and a good person she was completely selfdestroyed inside...:'( IP: Logged |

Firstly, very sorry for your loss. I am just beginning to read charts (mostly over the last year) but I am wondering if T.Chiron conjunct sun also played a role. I am (also Pisces sun) experiencing this transit now and am finally in the healing stage (Chiron-wounded healer), but the circumstances that I am going through now have completed rocked my inner being. It can be a time of intense pain, where you CAN learn much about yourself and to heal from that pain which may have played out if she could have held onto reality longer. Pisces sun in the 9th house and her involvement in spirituality that you mentioned, makes me think she probably was using the suicide as an escape, yes, but she probably also longed/yearned to go "home" back to her spiritual home, that is. I feel this when I am depressed and feeling melancholy about the world. Her transiting moon appears to be conjunct her natal Chiron as well. This makes me feel that although her sun and moon were very different in nature (capricorn/pisces) much of her felt those Chiron "wounds". I've also read that Uranus and saturn can figure into death equations. If I remember her transiting Saturn and NN were close to or conjunct her natal Uranus. (Anyone PLEASE correct me if I am off on any of this..) IP: Logged |

Next to Neptune: Thank you ever so much. I think you described & analysed this very well! It made it very insightful for me @boogie: thank you. I personally think Chiron most definitely played a role. I googled some more and saw this aspect did come up in suicide charts. I can't really connect you, because I do not know much about astrology myself. I did study Chiron, the nodes & the 12th house quite a bit. I think longing for "home" would have played a role for certain. Thanks for taking the time to look & reply. IP: Logged |

So sad....your friend must have had a tough time with the slow transit of Uranus square natal Moon - very unstable emotions over the past year. Brings up the acting out of emotions in ways that are not acceptable. Cap Moon needs to follow the rules and control what is going on inside of self (control issues will shows on the outside because of this), and in 6H needs to fit into society even though it sees everything wrong with society. Very depressing. Also 23 degrees Cancer is a degree of depression (the Node of Saturn) - if you are not sure of the ascendant it may be exactly conjunct this node. Mars is already within 1 degree conjunct. If the ascendant is 23 degrees Cancer then Mars is placed in the 12th House...secret actions? Seems to make sense. Anyway, using equal house, Uranus is in natal 4H indicating a possibility of sudden death.

Sidenote: I had a classmate who committed suicide and on that day there was an exact aspect transiting Ixion opposite natal Moon. This person also struggled with depression and mental instability throughout life, yet was a very uplifting and inspiring personality to many.IP: Logged |
