What?? I find this is very confusing. Saturn in Taurus Saturn in 7th house 7th house in TaurusThen I was told this is 'bad' (ok, challenging). But after reading more and more about it. It actually sound good to me. Can someone with more experience please explain this a bit more to me? I was also told that my Venus in Scorpio was "bad". But I kind of like it! (wink) IP: Logged |

Ooo... After reading the thread on descendants I should add that my descendant is Taurus too. Should I just go out and marry the first Taurus I find. (J/K, obviously.) IP: Logged |

You are Scorpio Rising, and Taurus is the sign opposite Scorpio. This makes your 7th house ruled by Taurus. The first house is self, the 7th house is other/ the mirror. Saturn in the 7th house is accidentally dignified. This is not a bad position at all. Saturn in the 7th house may cause you to be attracted to serious or older partners. You may get along well with those who have planets in Taurus, but the 7th house is also the house of open enemies, so you may have conflict with Tauruses as well. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Scorpio as well, and yes it is considered to be in detriment according to the rules of traditional astrology. But I love having Venus in Scorpio too IP: Logged |

Thanks for your reply. I think it sounds like a good thing. I can't remember why I was told it was challenging. Maybe because I'm a Sag with lots of Sag planets. But I'm really not the love 'em and leave 'em type. (That's the Scorpio Asc, right?)I do have two aspects to Saturn: Venus opposite Saturn and Jupiter opposite Saturn. Could those be the bad things? I'm not quite up to speed on those yet. I'm still learning the houses. When I was younger, I was attracted to much older men, who were just not interested in me at all. I guess it was lucky in that I wasn't taken advantage of by older men. It could have happened. At 25 I was in love with a friend's dad who was 52. He was lovely. Aw. I wonder what happened to him. He'd be close to 70 now. Wow! Time flies. I married (and am now divorcing, after 15yrs! yikes) a very solid and dependable man who was only a year older. Now I'm not so much attracted to men who are physically older but definitely men who are solid and dependable. Lately I've been attracting pretty much only younger men and I have to try not to dismiss them purely for age reasons. I am loving my journey through astrology. It's really bringing me more clarity. Thanks again for your reply. IP: Logged |

I've never actually had many Taurus in my life. Just one guy I dated recently who I have a total crush on but it's going no where. And then a friend from way back. After reading other things about false friends, it just came to me that the only other person of any significance who is a Taurus is some one who I considered a good friend. In the last years however, I see is really extremely passive aggressive and snide. Smiling while she tries to take you down verbally. I pretty much cut her off at the beginning of the year as I'd had enough.
