On the contrary. Usually people with only soft aspects will take their life for granted and will learn NOTHING from it. These people have a hard time to mature. On the other hand, people with hard aspects are born and have a rough life in all areas. They see things differently. They know pain and suffering and they are tested by fate more than the people in first case.
People with soft aspects are YOUNG souls. Their life will be easy because the cycle of their lifetimes has just begun and there is no heavy karma from past lives. Young souls have to learn to live mundane lives. Old souls have to learn to live spiritual ones.
I read once people with hard aspects tend to have a hard life before 30 and then an easy and rewarding one. I don't think that's true. I think balance can be found. Another thing that I shall mention is that hard aspects are INTERNAL struggles that will be manifesting in the EXTERNAL.
Havinf soft aspects is not a bless. Yes, you can have a happy life but without MOTIVATION (hard aspects gives you ambition and mmotivation) you won't do much in life.
Of course there also exceptions of people with hard aspects who are mediocre. Usually those have some houses very bad afflicted and they think they cannot more than they already did. Also a bad afflicted Mercury by Saturn will make you have no ambition or motivation. The thinking stays in a retrograde mode.

Rosalind, why don't you open topic about karmic astrology? I would like to ask you some questions but I don't like to do that on other's people's topics. Btw, I have hard Saturn aspects and I expect my life to be easier later. I am not 30 yet, but I have feeling it will be better later.

Interesting. I've always heard that people with soft aspects have them becausethey EARNED them from good deeds in their previous lives.

No, I can't believe that just having 'bad' aspects makes the person themselves bad. You still have free will to act and think the way you think is best. In the worst case scenario, you may be unfortunate but not bad.

Look, you have a Grand Trine comprising the North Node. Some of the Planets you have Opposing are Domicile, you are just being pushed into working with them. QUITE a few Domicile.

You say rough, but that Angular Moon (House Domicile) also kites to that Grand Trine.

You have to take things in context, and figure out what they are pointing to.

How does a grand trine look like? All I see is one T square and a lot of opposition...

Steve Jobs had a Grand Cross, Grand Trine(s) and a Grand Sextile; and just look what HE accomplished.

Didn't have the money for an education, so he audited his way to what he wanted. Sometimes you need the Crosses for Dynamic Force.

Of course not! Difficult aspect have nothing to do with morality, but they make life challenging. It means that you've got a lot to do in this lifetime.

I liked reading this article, but I find that reading about aspects is less helpful than experiencing them. For instance, the info about T-square mentioned nothing about how going to the opposite sign and house of the apex planet helps to relieve tension. When I mention this to others it always helps them change their focus toward experiencing resolution with growth.

I always chuckle when I see many challenging aspects in a chart. Especially the grand cross. I tell them that while growing up I would have never been allowed to play with them. (My dad was pretty protective- only daughter and his favorite, ha!)
But meeting them as adults I see how they have been tempered through life experience. I would not want to live life without their association.

Don't let the hard aspects define who you are as a person. Every aspect is perfect for you, because you are perfect exactly as you are.

Just learn how to watch out for transits or especially other people who activate the aspects, and then you can experience them consciously. Pay attention, you came to grow a little quicker.

I have read the same thing Rosalind posted. I also believe positive venus aspects are a reward from other lives...it gives you self love, and in turn, an ability to show others love. Jupiter aspects whether positive or negative imo are some if the most annoying, it can make someone sooo hedonistic, selfish, proud, etc.
