Ok I had a horary reading recently (unfortunately don't have a copy of the chart). He said that venus (me) and mars (him) were in strong mutual reception, however venus was retrograde with mars with a square aspect, indicating a likely no to my question.

Now I've been reading more about retrogrades and that it can represent a back and forth with the significator, and I know squares can be interpreted as a delay/obstacle.

Now my question was 'will I meet him', him is a guy I've had a strong pull to after finding him on a site I go on, if never seen him before and have come to find he's local to me, has a lot of similar interests etc I've not had this before and I just can't get him out of mind.

I'm currently in a relationship (which is looking like we will separate) and I keep going back and forth on what to do it's been very difficult. I wouldn't contact this man while in the relationship as it's just the wrong thing to do but felt the need to ask the question so I could just move on if it was a no go.

He said using Lilly's interpretation it could be seen as a yes but as I haven't had a relationship with him before it's unlikely.

So would you take a strong mutual reception (with square) and retrograde as an outright no? Even though he says it's unlikely I just can't drop it! I'm so annoyed with myself I just feel I've known him before.
