Well, I did specify "low" lol so kinda.... as for high self-esteem I wouldn't have a clue as I don't have that, so when people send that back to me I feel attacked, mocked, misjudged...

I don't know why you have low self-esteem. You seem pretty awesome to me.

I don't know I have a love hate relationship with it. Honestly I like my sign Pisces, but I'd rather it be my moon. It really sucks having it as a Sun sign. I feel that Pisces moon has all the good traits of it while the Sun has all the bad traits. I don't like my moon at all. Pisces-Aquarius combo does not go together at all.
I also feel being a Pisces the sign is almost deemed as an Angel just about. So I feel bad if I cant live up to the expectations of being a perfect Pisces that people describe. 😔

But I honestly don't think having a Pisces sun has done me good. Just makes me awkward :/ lol

I don't think that Pisces equates to being an angel. It's just that they like to help others.

Awww Soul, I thought of you as a beautiful person even before I had an idea of your sun
I love Pisces, and it has nothing to do with perfection (I'm a Virgo, just like trust me on this ), quite the opposite .
I've had Pisces all around for me most of my life, that opposition... it nurtured me and made me in ways I couldn't describe.
I was abused by a Pisces too, and broke my heart over one, and got in serious troubles because of one, so it's not all roses, but most Pisces I've met touched me, taught me, allowed me to see myself for what I really was without judgement (actually, the only one who didn't do so was the one who abused me, but, specific context, honestly not worth tying it all to astrology, way bigger picture there).
I think it's a tough sun sign to have as you have the most difficult time defining your boundaries and learning to be you. It can take the form of martyr, but also that of tyrant, Pisces gone wrong can be cruel manipulators, brilliant at emotional blackmail and all, so decidedly not a pristine angel. But when Pisces goes right, you people are better than angels, you make imperfections shine, in yourself and others, you have this innate ability to spot it and soften it, not through any work or even help, just through looking at it with love.
I don't think Pisces moons are better, I mean moons are watery enough without needing more emotions lol
While any Pisces placement will attract me, I think I get along with suns the best, even if, as I've said, they can be a handful if gone bad, but that's everyone.
The one who abused me was a Pisces sun/Aquarius moon. Because he was a bad person, in him it felt like he felt nothing and so had zero hang ups about manipulating others' emotions, especially since they appeared so effortlessly to him. He also was a Cancer rising, which added to the manipulation, he had a way of emotionally melt everything and everyone around but in private you'd see his true face, sometimes also in public but he could turn it on and off for specific people to see. Cold hearted con artist.
I don't think it's the placement though. I remember some of our conversations here, you just have a tender heart that shows through your writing, your moon and yourself are fine
I knew another Pisces sun Aquarius moon, a girl. The worst I'd say is she could abruptly retreat from people because the emotions would get too much for her, as if her sun absorbed things her moon couldn't cash, but out of that, she was always the most gentle creature.
I actually think it's a decent combination. An air moon on its own or surrounded with air and fire may tend to be too airy, with a Pisces sun you know any excess of intellectualisation has a force to keep it in check, then it's only about how you decide to use it.

I don't think you're awkward, I think you're special

This is one of those instantaneous cluster of possible answers triggering situations Randall
1. Are those even related? I mean, I'm pretty sure most of History's fabulous douches had fantastic self-esteem! lol While lots of awesome people commit suicide.
2. 😳
3. Thank you, that is very sweet of you.
4. If we were going strictly mathematical, I'm pretty sure there are enough people just on this site fiercely disagreeing with you that could account for me having low self-esteem lol
5. My low self-esteem is actually great. I was broken to pathetic stages and building back up, this is my victory, having low self-esteem had brought me amazing gifts. It does a brilliant job at keeping in check those Leo urges of grandeur that could become quite problematic as the human ego is quite a thirsty beast and the ego of a broken person can very easily do a 180 and try to repair itself by gaining an extreme where it was hurt; so having low self-esteem shows a form of control and mastery I have over my wounds that I'm quite proud of, there's balance in there, it's a right stage, even if I know I will have to grow out of it and actually build a decent self-esteem at some point. Mostly, it may be low, but it's self -esteem, I had none for years.

@Moonbeth
Thank you so much you're so sweet 😩
I do remember our conversations on here and I could say the same for you you are a really kind person. Your words are so nice thank you. Even when you had such bad experiences with other Pisces you didn't let that make you angry at all them which really takes a good kind and strong person cause many times people have a bad experience with one sign and generalize all the others. Im sorry you got hurt by one, and had such a bad experience I know this one girl on another astrology forum, who is a Virgo had a Pisces boyfriend and they broke up so now she is mad at all Pisces suns lol
Although Im also a Pisces I had another Pisces friend and I didn't have such a good relationship with her.
So yeah sometimes Pisces could be quite the wildcard. My cousin is also a Pisces sun but with Cancer moon and she kind of takes advantage of people. She wants people to serve her and if she doesn't get anything out of them she doesn't care to keep contact with them. She did that with my grandma unfortunately.
But usually I like Virgos as well I think Pisces/Virgo opposition works really well, more so than the other axis' lol

@SoulOfABird
Aww, thank you my darling
I think this is part of Pisces' lesson. Pisces has a huge thing for forgiveness, which I am not an expert at so I try to at least not hold imagined grudges, so, very much like a Pisces, unless someone has specifically done me wrong, I don't resend them
"that man killed 4, including his own mother" "yes, but he didn't do anything to me" lol

It'd be pretty stupid hating a sign. I mean, Cancer is the closest I have come, I have had awful experiences, yet I still fall for Cancer suns, risings, moons... the primary reason why this sign has hurt me so much is because I get closer to it than other signs, doesn't take a genius to figure out The popel who hurt you are those you let in somehow (in private relationships, it can also be professional, just because they have power over you, but that's different... most of the time I don't know those arseholes' signs! lol)
People are who they are, signs are just energies, people decide how or manage to harness those.
I think all oppositions are special, but that one, maybe because it's mutable and the elements are the "deep" ones (I hate that notion, Gemini and all aren't shallow, but I can't find a better word now), or because one of the strongest common points is the yearning to devote oneself to others... Pisces literally have made me a better Virgo and I'm very thankful for that

I have hated Cancers for years at some point. They seemed to always make everybody else the emotional fools. They were bloodsuckers for all the love, compassion, forgiveness... the whole world needed more than they did.
Then I grew up and got my ish together.

My point is, emotions aren't a sign of weakness, have you ever watched Buffy?
Watch Buffy 😊
