Thanks LeeLoo. I certainly get on well with Leo suns which sextile my sun. But then, as you say - it squares my moon. I will definitely look out for an 18deg Libra moon to test your theory! I also seem to like Pisces moon to make a trine with my own scorpio moon (which is conjunct pisces ruled neptune) ... but then this brings me back to another square of my moon to their sun. Complicated ... but this is the problem for anyone who happens to have natal sun inconjunct moon.

As you can see, my chart is full of hard aspects ,so it is pretty much inevitable that as soon as I have any nice soft aspects in synastry, they automatically get roughed up with squares at the same time. sigh. C'est la vie!

I really like your idea of the placement for Venus on the antivertex or at Mars/Pluto MP at 5 Virgo. I do know people that I get on well with who have Venus at both of these positions. My best friend (female) has her Venus at 5 Virgo, and funnily enough - my husband has his sun there too (we have been married 30 years). BTW, his moon is at 20 Aries - kind of opposite your 18 Libra suggestion.

As for an "ideal" mars, I don't mind the idea of Leo (or any fire sign) as long as its not opposite my Saturn which is already in enough trouble as it is, haha! Aquarius mars (once again - avoiding Saturn) sounds quite nice too as my own mars is conj Uranus, so I love that ...ahem... unconventional mars energy. Mars conj my Venus or Moon would be great IF it were not for that #$%#$% Saturn of mine getting involved again.

As for sun on 1st/7th axis - not sure. There are people in both of these signs that I really love, but also my biggest betrayals in life have come from these two signs (Taurus and Scorpio) so I am a tad wary.

My 2nd 7th house (Gemini) is the 3rd house (Aquarius). AIR.

My 2nd 8th house (Cancer) is the 4th house (Pisces). I can handle Pisces (or Neptune/12th house) romantically if the influence is mild.

And so on...

She may like Cancer because it's her 8th house and her ASC is in Scorpio, but it's probably the result of previous experiences rather than the best choice for her.

That Kite on your ASC/DSC is very Karmic and points to a Scorpio or Taurus Sun, IMO. I think Moon Venus energy is very soothing for you, so...

* His 7th house is Taurus, which I don't have in my chart (only Part of Spirit), but I do have emphasis on my 2nd house. That'd still give me some Taurus flavour, right?
* Then his Venus (so it doubles as ideal woman & partner) is in Leo, on top of my Sun exact. Like by 20 minutes. Also on my South Node. My Saturn also makes a minor aspect to his Venus, though exact.
* It's in the 9th house, so I'm also overlaying an important house for me. Natally I may not have any Sagittarius planets, but I do have an angular Jupiter on the MC from the 9th house side, plus it aspects my Ascendant and chart ruler.
His 9th house is also intercepted, so I think I'd be bringing these things out of him.
* He has Venus conjunct Jupiter (see 9th house), square Ascendant & Pluto, trine Moon, semi-sextile Sun and biquintile Neptune.
* 2nd house (extended Taurus DSC) is Sagittarius with a large part covering Capricorn. My Sag Vesta and my whole Capricorn stellium fall right into it.
He has his Moon, Uranus and Neptune in this house and I have all three of these on an angle; a very active 4th and 12th house and Uranus again aspecting my Ascendant and chart ruler.
Enough to make up for no planets in his 7th?
My Mars and Mercury aspect all three planets inside.
His house Venus (I've read the thread, haha) is in Capricorn, conjunct my natal Saturn.
* Second house: ruled by Jupiter in Virgo in the 9th house, conjunct the MC. I have the same house position for my own Jupiter.

5th house:
- Aries, ruled by Mars in Libra in his 11th house.
(I'm a Libra Rising with progressed Libra planets, plus my Sun in the 11th house and mentioned Uranus aspects.)
- Mars square Uranus & Neptune, trine Saturn, sextile Chiron, semi-sextile Mercury.
(Already mentioned Uranus & Neptune, the major Cap stellium for Saturn and 3 planets in Virgo for Mercury. Plus 3rd house emphasis.)
- No planets in his 5th house.
- 1st house, his extended 5th, is Scorpio, ruled by Pluto in Scorpio conjunct his Ascendant.
(My Sun squares Pluto and Venus semi-squares it, plus some more sextiles and trines. Prominent Pluto I'd say.)

8th house:
- Gemini, ruled by Mercury in Virgo conjunct his Midheaven. My Mars falls smack on top of it with my own Mercury more loosely conjunct. Again, a large part is the next sign (Cancer), with my Jupiter, MC and Chiron falling in his 8th house.
- Extended 8th house, the 3rd, is Capricorn ruled by Saturn in Aquarius.
My Cap stellium falls into that extended 7th house but near the 3rd house cusp. My Venus trines his 3rd house ruler Saturn. Mars makes a biquintile. Jupiter a quincunx, completing a yod with his own Jupiter in Virgo.
- His own Saturn trines Mars (see above), loose trine to his Sun, that quincunx to Jupiter, semi-square Moon, quintile Pluto, biquintile Mercury.
- 10th house: Virgo, ruled by Mercury in Virgo in the 10th house.

I see two options for you:

1. the guy has Sun or Moon in Cancer on your POF/IC, or some other important planet/angle there. His Venus is in early Virgo and Mars in Gemini. He has ASC/DSC MC/IC or other important planets in Aries/Libra.

2. his Sun is in Sag on your Venus, he has a water or Cap Moon, Venus in Cap on your Mars and a mutable Mars, preferably Gemini too.

Haha yeah he does seem fairly balanced.

And yes I did think he might have been gay at first.
But I'm not exactly sure yet as of now, cause his actions and behaviour towards me shows that he might be straight.
