What if two people (in Synastry) have a double whammy Sun square Saturn (tight) but both of these individuals have "good" Sun-Saturn aspects in their individual natals? For example, I have the Sun square Saturn DW with someone. But, in my natal, my Sun sextiles my Sun and Mercury by 1 degree. And the other person, their Sun sextiles their Saturn by 1 degree. Do you think the Sun square Saturn DW in synastry might then be easy for the two of them to handle assuming they are both mature individuals? ------------------ Virgo Asc & Mars Gemini Sun Libra Moon Gemini Mercury Cancer Venus IP: Logged |

So what do u think of this one? It's some REALLY good...and REALLY bad...no? Im thinking of the Uranus aspects. And all the conjunctions to the ascendant? It seems like I dont mean much to him...he s not calling...perhaps he was being false with me when he indicated i meqnt so much to him. He means alot to ME! Is it all one sided...or he just in it for a short affair? A: April 2, 1965 Oalkand, CA 4:18 AM B: July 1, 1972 Iowa City, IA 1:10AM (this is me) IP: Logged |

Lioneye68 wrote some of the best thoughts on Saturn ~n~ syn. Probably because I so agree with her. Saturn supplies serious glue. And winky re: Mercury and syn. I regard my mind- both the higher- and the lower mind as my largest erogenous zone. Mercury contacts or even specific houses are typically regarded as wimpy or no fly zones for desire. Personally perhaps because Merc. is my chart ruler and is in with many lusty Taurus placements when my mind is turned on everything is all-systems-go! Add in a Mars in air and you have ->> IP: Logged |

Mama Mia, I had the same aspects with my ex husband and it was the worst relationship EVER! lolI think if you have most of these planets conjunct in your own chart then you don't necessarily want another person doing the same, you know? Are yours conjunct or aspecting? IP: Logged |

Sun Venus trines, conjunctions and oppositions start the most relationships, but Venus trine Venus is the sweetest connection...if the couple can ever get it together (Venus Venus is an ultra passive connection, especially in Earth signs and multiply that by a thousand if its a Venus conjunction in Taurus in the 7th house). Barack and Michelle Obama have Venus trine Venus in Water signs...although their first date was to a Spike Lee film, I imagine it was quite a romantic occasion.IP: Logged |

I read Relationship Signs last nightand from what I gather, some aspects which are dubbed negative can be balanced or overcome entirely by an abundance of positive aspects. For example, although his Sun opposes my Mars and Mars is square Mars we have Sun trine Moon, Venus trine Neptune, Mercury trine Venus and Venus trine Pluto which Linda interprets beautifully Anyone asking questions on this thread I fully encourage to read Relationship Signs I wrote a mini review in the Linda's Life forum ------------------ "The pioneers of a warless world are the youth who refuse military service." -Albert Einstein IP: Logged |

Saturn. I really don't like too much of that planet in synastry. It's boring, it's limiting, and there's no feeling of growth. Although a little bit can really help a relationship, too much ruins everything. IP: Logged |

Well i can't really say which are the best though i imagine the ones already listed are beauties. I quite enjoy pluto aspects myself, but maybe i'm just addicted to the intensity. A really nice aspect though is moon sextile neptune. You still have a grasp on reality... but you can read each other's mind. You talk with your eyes! In regards to what you said about mars square mars, and whatnot. I can't say it's easy or anything like that, but i dont know about the contrsting sexual rhythm. I had it was guy a guy and my god the passion it generated! Very good if you want intimacy. Venus mars square is also like this. It might seem bad but if you don't mind things being stirred up and bantering all the time, the physical pay off is worth it. It makes you so addicted to the person! A word on the worst... for me i would have to say some of the worst are with merc square merc and uranus squaring personal planets. Hello instability! YOu dont know where you stand, ever !

Sun/Saturn square or opposition must be worst of all, at least in my opinion. I have been both the Sun and the Saturn and I know the feeling from both sides. The relationship takes off quickly at the beginning and has the flare of true love. 7 or more years laters-it usualy ends in deep dissatisfaction. Yet, most couples still choose to stay together, in mysery, bitching at each other all day long, but still together. Like Sainfeld's mother and father. It brings no happy end.Venus/Saturn square or opposition must be the second one worst in this category. Everything starts off in a inevitable way, the Venus person is absolutely smitten with the Saturn one, then the roles reverse and the Saturn person usually suffers at the end, never feeling loved enough. Venus goes about to find themselves another lover. Venus/Neptune conjunction i consider to be the most superly romantic and sweetest of all, hands down to this one. One never forgets a partner whos Neptune conjucted their Venus, and vice versa.
just my 6 cents. IP: Logged |

To me the worst are:Moon square Mars Mercury square Mars Had those with my best friend, he basically didn't have any patience with anything I said/felt. He eventually started "exploding" with anything I said/felt, and treated me like I was some kind of dumb whimp, wich I'm not, I'm actually a very secure person, but he saw me as a crybaby. We don't talk anymore. Then there's Mars square Saturn Mercury square Saturn Have those with my mom, It's gotten to the point where here mere presence puts me in the worst mood. It's such a disgusting feeling, she is a super irrational in her way of thinking/doing things. And I just can't even stand to take anymore. IP: Logged |

I always liked Mars square Venus provided the synastry has some warm emotional aspects at the same time. Like Moon sextile Moon, for example. Or Sun trine Venus. Or both. It's like sugar and spice. IP: Logged |

For example, you all say - *Good* 1- Person A's Mars trined Person's B's Venus =Adds sexual attraction. And is a true love aspect. WE HAVE VENUS TRINE MARS *Bad* 2- Person A's Mars's squared Person B's Mars. =They may have a hard time getting along. They have differend energy styles. Different sexual behaivors. WE HAVE MARS SQUARED MARS SO, DOES THIS MEAN WE WILL HAVE SEXUAL ATTRACTION, BE IN LOVE YET ALSO NOT GET ALONG? !!! THEN LALALINDA, BLESS HER, SAYS: A's Mars conjunct B's Saturn (this RARELY works) A's Saturn square b's Venus (you can work through this one but its hard) WE HAVE MARS CONJUNCT SATURN 1DEG SATURN TRINE MARS 1DEG NO SATURN/VENUS HARD ASPECTS great sexual aspects A's Mars conjunct B's Uranus a lot of attraction, but it burns out quickly, if there are no other inneraspects to sustain it. NO MARS URANUS, ONLY VENUS CONJUNCT URANUS. I think a tight Sun square Neptune aspect is pretty bad, especially if it's a double whammy. WE HAVE SUN SQUARE NEPTUNE 1DEG SO HOW DOES IT PAN OUT WHEN YOU HAVE BOTH GOOD/BAD IN THE SAME ASPECT PLEASE?
this happens all the time. an ex i had venus conjunct saturn, which is supposed to be good, but venus opposite saturn which is supposed to be bad. when you have "good" and "bad" together in the chart you can do a few things to understand what aspect will eventually be the 'biggest' in the relationship. you look at who is venus and who is saturn (or whatever) in each case, and see what connections those planets make to natal placements. you start to look at what houses the planets fall in and where the connections are being made. you can also go into a composite chart and see what placement shows up there (for us it remained venus opp. saturn). that is why you have to examine natal charts when doing synastry because sometimes one person may be very influenced by a 'good' aspect while the other feels nothing, or perhaps feels the 'bad' one more. one aspect usually does come out on top though and depending upon other factors it could be the good one or the bad one :-)
