venus/mars DW, even with the wide trine
his mars square your Sun/Neptune mdp is integrative, could be tricky, but this is a very attractive aspect for you
his IC ruler the Moon squares your DSC ruler
his 5th ruler trine your IC ruler
Sun trine Moon
your love houses strongly aspected, his 7th and 8th too

however, most of the aspects are not romantic in nature, more like friendship

the problem I see here is that your Saturn is not well placed for his chart. Except, perhaps, if there is a love asteroid opp his Sun. Is it?

No!! I'm actually really quite smitten with this boy (I use that term loosely).

His mom isn't 100% sure of his birth time. She said between 10 and 11. So I put it at 10:30. Saturn could go either to 1 or 2. At 10:15 Saturn goes to 2H at 10:45 it goes to 1H.

I'm not sure the love asteroids do anything particular. Which ones should I be looking at? And what should I be looking for?

His name asteroid is on my NN. I thought that was cute.

It was totally unexpected. He completely bowled me over!

I was surprised that all our tight orbs are with outer planets and he doesn't touch my 5/7 houses. What can I do? Stuff happens! I'm just going to have to live to see what happens.

That's interesting about the affect to your unaspected planets.

His unaspected Mars squares my Sun (3) and trines my Venus (5) and Mars (8), both my Venus & Mars sit in his 7th house. There are a few other tight but minor aspects to the outers. I don't know much about Pisces Mars, so I can't say if he's acting out more or less his Mars. But he certainly has had no hesitation in perusing me.

The ruler of both our 7th houses is Venus. All his personal planets plus saturn touch my Venus. The orbs from 3 to 9 deg. However, I personally think my Scorpio Venus is quite strong in my life. I'm feeling he has quite an impact on me.

My 5th ruler is Neptune, trine his moon (6) and squaring his Mars (3). One of the closest aspect we have is his Venus sextile my Neptune at 0.16 deg. Well, it also quintiles to my Uranus at 0.01 and Pluto at 0.50. But I'm not sure about those minor aspects.

I'm really going to have to start going back and looking at other synastries with previous BFs and major crushes in depth now that I know a bit more. I don't know their birth times, but I guess I can look at where their planets hit my houses.

Anyway, I know how I feel about him and get a sense how he feels about me. If there are no astrological reasons for it, there must be biological ones. Whether it lasts is not for me to know. It's for me to find out. I'm going to just enjoy the journey.

My Mars is square Venus at 9 degrees, though, but it is very wide and most astrologers don't count such a wide square, right?
It is also semisquare Jupiter/Juno 2
and quintile N.Node 1

So, it is technically unaspected.
And in Scorpio, it is very demanding

Yes. 9 is generally too wide in natal and way too wide in syanstries. Though the more you read the more you see people who will take certain things into consideration and not others on a case by case basis. So it gets extremely confusing for newbies more so for those who haven't learned in a structured way, like me.

I'm fascinated by your unaspected Scorpio Mars! I've read that unaspected planets are very direct in their energy. Do you feel driven by your Mars? More so because it's Scorpio? My Mars is very weak as it's a Libra Mars in the 12th and I certainly feel it blocks me. I wish I had a stronger Mars!

How does your Mars play out in synastries? Do those aspects that touch your mars cause you more or less challenges? Do they become somehow the aspects that stand out the most or not so much?

The guy I'm dating has a unaspected Pisces Mars, which I think it also a wishy-washy Mars like mine. But he had no problem what so ever perusing me and making it very clear, there was no ambiguity for sure!

Your questions made me realise I don't really know how my Mars works. So I started pondering on it, that is why it took me so long to reply.

Mars in Scorpio 1st degree, 3rd house, ruler of 9nth (coruler of 4th)

The basic desription of Scorpio Mars in 3rd house suits me well.

But my martian energy is not consistent. I feel passionate about something but I don't let it rule my life. I am driven, but not long term. I have ambitions that fade as time goes by if I don't follow them. So there is passion, but not incentive. I am argumentative in speech, but never follow long debates that demand more time. I don't start arguments/I don't express my anger, unless I'm challenged! Then, of course, you confront a Scorpio Mars in full power. (I love it when it happens)
My subjects of interests are vast, I feel strongly about them, but I lose interest/get disappointed easily. 3rd house Mars gives me an incessant desire to learn, but I never pursued high learning - how could I choose one single subject and follow it for years to come?

My Mars is like a strong giant that is set aside waiting for orders (e.g. aspects)
