I'm just curious... My long-distance boo boo and I just spent a three day trip together, and we were laying in bed together, me running my nails through his hair, constantly touching him... And it dawned on me. When I'm near him, I can't stop touching him. I've been in other relationships, even long-distance, and I wasn't like this. Anything in synastry that points to constant touch? Any natal placements? Stories of your own? All I can think of is we have Moon/Mars double whammy. Trine and the conjunction. Maybe emotion/affection through physical action? I've heard many times that your Mars/someone's Mars falling in your 5th house or vice versa can be a sign of constant touching, can't keep my hands off you, etc. I have this with a guy friend of mine (his Libra Mars falls in my 5th) and when we hung out months ago I wanted to keep touching him lol and I felt more sexually comfortable with him than any other guy I'd been with. Funny thing is that day transit Mars was exactly conjunct my Venus I think. So that's a possibility if you look at the synastry overlays! IP: Logged |

I've shared a moon square mars DW between the 5th and 8th as well as 3rd and 7th house before.
Her mars also conjuncted my Venus to a degree in the 5th house.
I can def agree with this

And Moon-Ascendant aspect! Me and my boyfriend have it double whammy, and we are always touching, tickle or playing with each other!And we also have venus-uranus double whammy, venus trine ascendant (I am venus) and moon quintile mars and mars square ascendant… But the most important thing might be that both my sun, venus, mercury and mars falls in his 5th house, and his ruler Mercury is conjunct my Mars which is also my 11th house ruler  IP: Logged |

Sounds like a lot can contribute to this.  My husband and I are very affectionate with each other; we have a DW of MOON conjunct IC, 1°. My partner and I have dual VENUS-URA contacts, though: my URA square his VENUS (0°) with his URA very loosely -- if you can call it conjunct -- my VENUS -- 12°. (Hey, they're two planets. I used to allow 12° for those.)  His MARS is in my 2H, too, conjunct my SUN-PLUTO. Being his 5R, I sometimes wonder if that contributes to the physicality. He isn't a very physical person -- at all. He once joked, 'people who may touch him: population: me'. Heh. Extremely endearing, that one. My 2R is VENUS, in my 12H. It's contraparallel his MARS (5R). Maybe having a VENUS/MARS connexion involving the 2H and 5H is a factor? I'm thinking the chartruler, and aspects to the ASC. My LUST is exactly on his, along with my EROS being parallel. Interestingly enough, his EROS is contraparallel my MERC, which is my chartruler. Seems there are many things in play which can create that sort of dynamic. IP: Logged |

Venus/ Uranus has nothing to do with the "always touching" part. Its Venus/Mars for most of the time, and i'd include Mars- Moon, as well, to a lesser degree IP: Logged |

No Mars-Sun or Mars-Mars?
I agree on Mars-Moon though, I think it's an often overlooked aspect but I enjoy it a lot. I had trine several times, it's maybe not the most active aspect but pleasant anyway.IP: Logged |

I was thinking in a similar direction about it this morning, not Second House exactly, but Taurus. Taurus likes Touch. It's Electrical with the Uranus/Venus/Node to the Sun/Mercury. In Soulmate relationships, it's THE house of focus. In relationships in general, it's our personal sexuality -- what I'm understanding. It's what WE have (hence our talents, esteem, and resources) to offer in matters of intimacy. Taurus is a very tactile sign, too. Its natural house seems very much in-line with this thinking here. I've had that before with ppl but not with anyone since I've been into astrology.
I don't have a lot of 5th house layovers with a anyone significant either. I do have 8th house layovers, n what I find with that is we just want to stare at each other, especially staring straight into each other's eyes like we are trying to reach or see the deepest core of the person. When we would touch it would always lead back to eyes meeting and watching every emotional reaction to the physical touching through their eyes....if that makes any sense at all?IP: Logged |

Honestly, I'm most interested in what makes a dynamic SO undeniably sexual in nature that it's almost compulsive that it be realised. Linda always said VENUS conjunct PLUTO can do that, but there's gotta be more than that to it. Though I'm sure that's a bit. Plus, my PERSEPHONE is smack on his MARS/PLUTO Midpoint, 0°. (Not to mention the exact MARS conjunct PLUTO.) I'm suspecting it's the 5H/8H overlay. When someone's latent 5H planets are activated by tight and hard aspects, and then overlay into the other's 8H, it does sound as if the energy generated goes 8H. Perhaps because it's 5H in nature, the 8H expression becomes the sexual component -- or predominantly so? But then I FEEL it -- overwhelmingly so. My 5R is barely involved; SATURN, loosely opposing his SATURN, 8° (2R) yet also weakly squaring his SUN, 5° (8H). But then that's another 5H/8H thing. Really, it may be the 12H doing it, too. My MOON and MARS are in his 12H, with his VENUS and KARMA. IP: Logged |

I think you can really add the 8th house overlays too. If someones mars or moon falls in your 8th house, they are likely wanting to physically touch you and be with you physically all the time, that is for sure. So maybe 2nd house overlays too?:S IP: Logged |

All of this is so interesting. In our composite, we have four 12h planets, so that may have something to do with it!As for the second house, my oh my! That's an interpretation I've never heard before, but I guess it makes sense. When I first saw our synastry overlays, I was kinda "meh" about it. Too much 2h action. My Venus, Jupiter, and Juno fall in his second house (Aries) while they rest on my 7th. His Sun, Venus, and Uranus fall in my own 2h (Scorpio), while they rest in his 8th. I think that may have a TON to do with it, besides the moon-Mars and other combos. So interesting. Also to note--our Vertices are nearly trine exact (Taurus/Virgo) and trine both our NN/SN--me Pisces/Virgo, him Virgo/Pisces. We also have Venus Pluto double whammy. IP: Logged |
