I think apollo could mean unrequited love if one person's apollo aspects the other persons chart and not vice versa or one apollo aspects the other person's chart a lot more...

BC apollo conjunct moon coupled with apollo conjunct AC I would think that this would be reciprocal adoration BUT the example given in the OP is of a couple who did adore each other but did not end up together so there is you can say still a sort of 'apollo wound' that played out none the less but trust me the adoration was mutual.

oh so your saying if apollo is strong one way in synastry it would still be a mutual adoration? even though its just one sided in synastry?

sadly unfortnately i've got my apollo in a very weak position in my natal. my apollo is in Leo conjunct my CHIRON EXACT my friend, and its OPPOSITE my saturn in the 5th house......saturn in the 5th is not cool to have honestly so that being my chiron and apollo is in the 11th it is TRINE however my vertex in the 7th house. anyways....Apollo also represents intelligence and since my apollo is conjunct my chiron in leo it makes it VERY difficult for me to express my intelligence openly and even in a LARGE CLASSROOM SETTING. i often always all my life have felt the stupidist due to the fact that I'AM slow learner. i was put in special education, i was behind academically, i was discriminated an put in special education at 10 years old because my teacher at the time felt i was DISTRACTING MYSELF TOO MUCH WITH THE OTHER STUDENTS (i was a talker a rebel while growing up). my mother had to sue the school to get me out of the special education program because she saw that they were putting me behind academically.

anyways i have always been a slow learner because of these events that happened to me and due to it i feel very insecure when expressing my own intelligence and i often give up trying to be the smartest the best student and omg its in my 11th house the house of dreams, being on the stage, receiving an applause from the audience. this really has inhibited me so much. PLUS men like apollo the musician, the poet, mr. popularity especially in LEO are men that i tend to have found attractive my whole life especially while growing up HAVE hurt me so much causing me to feel like I'm not as beautiful and popular as them.

i also believe this position also brings me pain when I'm in the spotlight as i do feel it is not natural for me to be in the spotlight as i feel so insecure in this position which makes a lot of sense as well. i hate superficiality and superficiality and putting on a show and being an attention ***** is just totally unatural for me and when i do have to act this way (as a singer) it just brings me such uncomfortable energies within me. sometimes i think to myself why am i even studying singing and getting a degree in performance if i feel so awkward on stage. anyways this i just a weak position i have with apollo and chiron in my 11th opposing my saturn in the 5th.

I would adore him for his Apollo qualities in a Mercurial way? Does that mean the way he thinks and communicates? I do find him charming.

His Saturn trines my Apollo, which is conjunct my own Venus and MC. As far as my own chart, Apollo is also a healer. That is how I interpret it in my chart.
