Oh yes, they have. Her Saturn quincunx his Venus (1), his Saturn conjunct her Mercury (3). They also have Saturn wide aspects, a 6 degrees square to Moon, 5d sextile to Moon and a 7d opposition to Mars.

All right, that's pretty strong. If I remember correctly, Saturn was mainly responsible for them being together, right?? I think this gives your strength to look for something different, but at the same time, to honor Saturn in your search, to take the good part of their example

Thanks Lee, of course I love a bad-ass Saturn in synastry, the fact that all my long-term friends have personal planets in hard aspects to my Saturn are just coincidence For some reasons I can't look closely at my parents' charts, I always end up in the past. But I'll keep in mind your insight, ahh, I'll meditate on that .

My parent met in high school and have been together over 50 years. That is definitely not what I have experienced but...

Relationships aspects off the bat I've seen repeat; Eros conj Psyche, Sun opp Saturn, Mars/Chiron connection, Vertex/Mars connection, Moon/Venus connection, male's Venus in female's 12th, Venus's squared, Male Mars conj female DESC, Psyche conj Sun or Moon, Vesta connection to Moon or Venus...Hmmm...

I share an immense amount of planetary degrees with my Mother, but my chart in terms of aspects and houses actually resembles my father's & I'm the sun sign in between: Him Virgo, her Scorpio, Me Libra. My rising is also almost exactly in the middle of their Ascendants.

These same degrees also tend to show up in the composites for many of my longtime relationships (best friends & partners.)

There's a lot of resonance in shared degrees, i.e.: 2, 4, 8, 12, 18, 29 - the more you see reflected back and forth means folks will have commonality. Both because of duad rulerships and because they track together w/ the transits.
For instance - 18 degrees gives a Scorpio bent whether it's 18 Aries or 18 Scorpio - you'll find a Mars/Pluto flavor and I can definitely attest to that, regardless of which planet is shows up in (Sun, Venus, Mars, etc.

Me and my mom have a conjunct Merc-Jupiter, Venus-Jupiter but it's not enough to save our relationship as she's too much of a lizard (that said, I did eventually forgive her of some things, and if she could do the same then we might actually get along, but I think she's too lost for that). The only time we get along as well as we should is when both of us is stoned or drunk together (possibly because of the Neptune-Jupiter conjunction?) but I can count the times that happened on one hand.

Perhaps it's our squared Jupiter-Uranus and Mars-Jupiter that ruins it.

Jupiter is a major hub between us, and I did experience a positive transformation through negative life experiences she inflicted on me...

But an odd observation...Mom is a Scorpio with Scorpio and Leo stellium while my Dad is a Sag...and I suspect both Capricorn and Scorpio energies in his chart. I happen to have two stelliums like my mom, only in Sag and Libra on the Scorpio cusp (with Jupiter and a couple of asteroids all the way in Scorpio) and a Leo ASC (I also have a Capricorn Lilith). It's as if I was born a hybrid of their astrological energies, though I have no idea why.

He's also a lot like my mom personality wise and I see a bit of similarity too. They're both sagittariuses.

My mom and me we have have pluto conjunct sun and mars.

I have the same aspect with him except I'm the mars this time and him the pluto.

I have moon in the 7th house natally so I think I subconsciously tend to seek people who look and act like my mother. But that sounds strange lol.
