For a long time I thought he didn't like me because he was very cold, but then suddenly he asked me out on a date. He since told me that he'd been interested in me for 4 months before I even knew who he was, and he was cold at first because he knew he'd fall in love with me and that was terrifying. He apologized. We've been together for four years. We're getting married next year.
He's over a decade older and I think this shows up in this aspect. He sees some of my behavior as naive or inexperienced and I can feel self-conscious about it, though his attitude is wanting to provide support than being patronizing.
He also says he feels unworthy (Saturn) of me because of my relative youth (Gemini). He's my first real long term relationship, and he's expressed that he worries that he holds me back by wanting me to be in a committed relationship with him.
