Most people do not want to delve very deeply into their unconscious patterns, but it appears that for you, in any close encounter this is unavoidable.

His Moon is either in Capricorn or Aquarius, along with his Venus in Capricorn and Sun in Aquarius, so he is more rational than emotional which can explain why he is able to disengage more easily from his feelings. Part of this or even a substantial part of this may have to do with an emotional immaturity, where he may have not developed himself on the feeling side and that's going to be a handicap in his relationships with women. You tend to be emotionally obsessive in relationship, so that makes it harder to let go.

I hope you have a wise and trusted friend you can talk things over with and that you will spend time with people who care about you and love you during this time.

The link is to what's called a "synastry" chart, which I used as the basis of my comments. Because your time of birth is known, and an accurate birth chart can be erected with all the house cusps, your chart is inside (blue). Because we don't know the birth time for Aquarius, his planets are on the outside (red). So, we can see where his planets fall in your chart, but, we don't know where your planets fall in his chart without his time of birth.

Basically, the synastry chart is a way to determine the compatibility between two people, how they are likely to interact, and their strengths and weaknesses within the context of the relationship. The synastry chart is not for predictive purposes and does not foretell the future.

You have your Moon in Aries in opposition to Neptune in Libra. And it is this Neptune aspect in Libra that has you holding on. Libra is ever the romantic- expecting fairy tale endings.

Add to that, your Mars in Scorpio squares Pluto in Leo. So you love in a BIG way and commitment is a big deal for you. It is hard to just switch gears and move on when someone that you loved was once the center of your life.

Unless your ex bf has Pluto in Scorpio aspecting the personal planets Moon,Venus, Mars,your ex has no water placements as part of his personal placements- so he is more intellectual than feeling. Really able to keep his emotions in check.

I think some distance will do you some good. he doesn't understand your emotional disposition.
