And my husband loves Taurus. Hard-friggin'-core. Funny, really, for a man who's GEM/SAG/LEO. He's got that MARS in late PISCES, and VENUS in CAN, but, seriously. 28º LEO rising, 23º GEM SUN, and 10º SAG MOON. Plus, most of his dwads are ARIES.And, yet, Taurus. Two ex-girlfriends are TAU SUN, and his ex-wife, TAU MOON. (They have an exact SUN conjunct KARMA in synastry, which is 0º30 off of my VERTEX and the kiddo's MERC. I know. It's so self-explanatory as to be eerie.) Next up ... LIBRA! Late degrees. Logical, for one with that general profile, no? Then taking the three exes (who I know) together, a clear picture emerges. EX-GIRLFRIEND #1: 28º LIBRA SUN (2H) (conjunct URA, 3º) 23º TAURUS MOON (8H) 06º LIBRA ASC (MERC RISING, 4º) 10º VIRGO VENUS 10º LIBRA MERC (conjunct PLUTO, 1º) 01º CAN MARS 10º SAG NEP 21º TAU/SCO NODES (I'll explain why this one later) 20º GEM PSYCHE RX (that one blows me away) 27º SAG VALENTINE What's so remarkable is that our PSYCHES are exactly conjunct. And, it's no wonder. I'm hardly the crazy-stalker-type, so the reason I have her data is that we were actually friends. As the backstory goes, my husband and I were sharing an office, and he was dating her at the time. She was EXTREMELY clingy and insecure, easily calling a dozen times a day -- in fact, once it was fourteen -- and my husband wasn't the most adept at handling it.
Aaaaaand, you guessed it. She pleaded for me to get involved, and I started counselling her, somewhat, when I could. We'd all see each other socially, since our boyfriends were in the same social group, and we bonded there. But things got stupid dramatic between the two of them, he couldn't take it, and broke it off about a year later. Happy to report, though, she found her way back around to health and sanity, and is since happily married. So the first thing I noticed was how my husband not only really loves 10º VIRGO, (he has a great relationship with his niece, who's ASC is also 10º VIRGO, and adores his daughter something fierce -- MOON @ 10º VIRGO -- they have an incredible bond) but he likes VENUS in a loose quindecile to his MARS. And what's with the 20º GEM PSYCHE, huh? Wow! Mind-blowing! He evidently really likes PSYCHE conjunct SUN-SATURN, too. What's staggering about this particular woman is how similar our astrological profiles are. We're both Librans; PLUTO is in the same sign as her SUN, and mine's conjunct 2º. Both of our SUNS are in 2H. She's a LIBRA rising, and I've got VENUS on the ASC. She's got MERC-PLUTO on the ASC; I'm VIRGO rising with PLUTO parallel, 1º. VERY similar ASC profile. Her MOON's 23º TAU in 8H. Mine's 24º SCO. She's got the aforementioned MERC conjunct PLUTO, 1º. My MERC is in SCO. We both have VENUS in VIRGO. Mine's 8º, hers is 10º. We also both have VALENTINE in SAG. Hers is 27º, and mine's 15º. And, of course, PSYCHE at 20º GEM. Hers is RX, and mine's direct. You'd think my husband would be after more women with their MARS on his VENUS, (10º) and yet, she's the only one. He digs that VIRGO VENUS, though. I was always intrigued by their exact MOON conjunct NEP, too. He likes NEP near his MOON. Mine is super weak as to hardly be there, but it's just hanging on, at 10º orb. It's loosely parallel, too, though, which might give it some effect. Granted, as I'm the one he chose to marry -- of those whose NEP approach his MOON -- he clearly likes a 'lighter touch' in that department. Next up ... EX-GIRLFRIEND #2 12º TAURUS SUN 22º LEO MOON 15º SAG ASC 11º ARIES VENUS 29º CAP MARS 04º SAG JUP 23º TAURUS SATURN 10º LIB URA 02º SAG NEP 19º AQU/LEO NODES (yeah, mine are 18º LEO/AQU!) 19º AQU OSIRIS (this'll become important, too) 00º LEO VERTEX (mine is 00º AQU!) 21º TAU EROS 29º GEM PSYCHE Hooooooly snorkelling balls of ... hullabaloo, Batman! Whaaaaaaaaat? I never quite realised how much my husband loves him some GEMINI PSYCHE -- but only in the latter degrees. Now, if you know anything about my chart, you can immediately see how this one hits it dead-on in SO many ways. When we met, shortly after I'd moved to LA, she was the recent ex-girlfriend who was still in love with my new boyfriend, regretting her being unable to make their relationship work, and, in my eyes, could frustratingly do no wrong. She was beautiful! And hilarious! And charismatic! And has a great work ethic! And is an amazing artist! And used to be an astrologer! Oh, how I wanted to have a healthy hatred for her. I wanted to feel possessive and protective and be cordial and keep my distance. That absolutely DID NOT happen. She welcomed me into her city (she's a native) with a big heart and open arms. (To this day, we all celebrate Thanksgiving with her family when we stay in town, rather than go home.) Within days, we were spending hours on the phone, or in text-a-thons while she was at work. She showed me the most amazing things this city has to offer, and had me thinking entirely differently about so many things. I even took a genuine step back, saying, if they wanted to give it another shot, maybe they should? But she assured me that, no -- NO. I love him unlike she ever could, and she was just SO happy to see that. That was eight years ago. Wow. So, WHY the insta-connexion? Well, there's her TAU SUN and my 2H SUN (with the TAU dwad). Her 8H LEO MOON and my SCO MOON with its dwad in LEO. My VALENTINE smack on her ASC. But what's flabbergasting is the 0º VERTEX conjunct ANTIVERTEX, and 1º NNODE conjunct SNODE. Further, she's got her OSIRIS conjunct her SNODE, 0º, just as I've got my OSIRIS conjunct my NNODE, 0º. And even though it's 9º, that GEM PSYCHE, man. What ... on ... earth? It's easy to see why she and my husband bonded, too, and remain tight to this day. MOON conjunct ASC DW, MOON conjunct JUPITER/NEPTUNE. Plus, he was trying to see what it might like to have someone's MARS loosely quindecile his VENUS. But what's repeating? A few degrees, actually, as well as certain patterns. He went from lunar Taurean to a TAURUS SUN (But, you might notice, went with a LIBRA dwad.) 21º and 23º TAU are repeating, along with 10º LIBRA. Curiously, he doesn't have anything at 10º LIBRA; his 7R is 19º LIBRA, and PLUTO's 1º LIBRA. That's basically it. It's near the middle-to-the-end of his 2H, but does square his VENUS, sextile his MOON, and his EROS, all 0º. The 21º and 23º TAU are intriguing to me, too. Maybe we'll find the answers when we look at his ex-wife's chart .... They had a rather brief, sexless, loveless marriage that was solely for the purpose of producing the kiddo. Their synastry rather shows that, too, with the tightest link being her SUN conjunct his KARMA. IP: Logged |

3H (Libra)In romantic relationships, six of out seven had either a Sun, stellium, or Mars in Libra. So that would be 3H, although I have no idea why the 3H or Libra. I have only Neptune and Juno in Libra there and no Gemini planets. 4H (Scorpio): One was a double Scorpio, and four out of seven had Venus in Scorpio. 5H (Sagittarius): Four had Sun, Moon, Mars, or Jupiter in Sagittarius, which is the sign on the 5H cusp. 7H (Aquarius) Jupiter is in the 7H, which is probably why so many I'm attracted to have Sagittarius prominent in their charts. I'm not attracted to Aquarians romantically, the sign on the 7H cusp, although I am attracted to intellectual and brilliant men. One of these had Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter in Aquarius. He was a teacher, but we never got together. The exception was a partner with Aquarius rising and we're still very good friends after 23 years. The ruler of the 7H is in Cancer. Never been attracted to Cancers or family men. As for secondary houses, Gemini is on the 11th house cusp. Geminis and me are like oil and water. It's never worked. But, I have Uranus in the 11H and I am attracted to friends and partners with prominent Uranus, either in the other person's chart or in synastry. My longest friendship is a Sun-Moon in Gemini and we both have Leo rising within 6 degrees of each other. IP: Logged |

Lovin this thread!Okay, I'm a sucker for my 5th house. Gets me every time. I've got Aries on the 5th house cusp and the 5th house spans to mid-Taurus. Planets in Aries or the first half of Taurus catch my attention. Especially Aries, but sometimes Taurus too. Perhaps the reason I have such a thing for my 5th house is because the 5th house is also the house of my secondary Mars. I have Mars in Leo, Leo rules the 5th house, and so my 5th house tells me more about the type of guy I like (Mars in a women's chart shows how she likes to be pursued). As well as telling about who gives me romantic sparks, that falling in love feeling. These things are fused in my chart. For a guy, we'd look at his secondary Venus, to see his image of how he prefers a girl to act. For example, a guy with a Taurus Venus would be attracted to overlays in his 2rd house, as well as to Taurus/Venus girls. This is so even if his second house is actually Aquarius or Sag (in theory very different to Taurus). The important thing is that his 2nd house would be activated. Anyway back to my chart... Interestingly, I'm not one of those that is drawn to planets in my 7th (only a little sometimes). My Dsc is Gemini ruled by Mercury in Sagittarius, plus Jupiter is in the 7th house. I love Sagittarius energy. Sag is on my Asc, and partly in my 12th house... I'm often attracted to Sag planets in my 1st and 12th houses. Also, the 1st house is my secondary 5th house (Aries on the 5th house cusp) reinforcing that house for me. I also quite like Scorpio planets in my 12th house, but only when they are in tight orb trine to my Cancer Moon in the 8th house. The Moon in Cancer also rules my 8th house. My secondary 7th house is the 3rd house. I have Aquarius on the cusp ruled by Uranus in Scorpio. I love people putting planets in my 3rd house. I crave good communication. Also, people with Aquarius/Scorpio sign combos in their chart are interesting to me. I'm also quite attracted to my 11th house... Libra with Pluto and Uranus there, ruled by Venus in Sagittarius in the 1st. Not for personal planets, more for social or outer ones, or for people who match the symbolism of this configuration... Pluto/Uranus/Venus/Saggie people. This could be because my Vertex Axis falls across my 5th/11th houses, and because Uranus is conjunct my Antivetex, and also because my Dsc is Gemini, and the 11th house is my secondary 3rd house. The 7th house is an angular house and has a far-reaching power to it. I'm not really attracted to the Earth houses for romance, although I see the value in them in other ways. 2nd house, 6th house, and 10th house overlays rarely do it for me romantically. I don't have any earth signs on my 5th, 7th, and 8th house cusps, nor are any of the rulers in Earth signs. This may be why. I do love overlays to the 1st, 12th, 3rd, 5th, and 11th houses, quite often in synastry. With my Cancer 8th house, I can occasionally be drawn to Cancer planets when they conjoin my Cancer Moon, but I've noticed that I seem to prefer it when my Moon, which is my 8th house ruler, is aspected by planets from other houses. Especially Scorpio in my 12th house. This makes sense. My 8th house ruler Moon is in the 8th house (the Scorpio house), and my secondary Dsc is ruled by Uranus in Scorpio. My Cancer Moon is quincunx my Saggie Venus, and so that area is a little awkward for me. The trine smooths out this awkwardness. My secondary 8th house is Pisces ruled by Neptune in Sagittarius. I rarely go for 4th house connections romantically. However, I do like an active Neptune in a guys chart, and quite like if he has a dreamy, romantic, idealistic side. I seem to like Neptune/Venus aspects in a guy's natal chart quite a lot.

Always thought it was something to do with my NEP, except that it's often times 10º-15º. That's right around my IC, inching into the 4H. Riding the cusp again, as it were. So, a few 'mainstays' are the 11C and IC, usually within 3º. No clue why exactly. I've investigated it, but there are too many explanations for a clear answer.

But it's also at 26º PIS, which is 2º off of my VENUS' Huber degree, of 28º PIS. I'm pretty sure that has more to do with it than anything relating to my DSC or 7H. Now, my 7R does seem to be a hotspot. My 4H NEP at 20º SAG. Honestly anything in mid-to-late SAG is either drawn to me, or me to it, like a magnet. Another weird thing I can't quite grasp. My 6H can have romantic leanings, but is assuredly a friendship house. God, is this where I can't hide how much of a workaholic I am? Same can likely be said for my 5H. I'd call this my house of 'creative partnerships' or 'soul-family' exclusively. Nothing casual. EVER. And rarely ever anything romantic in that house, either. But creative partnerships / professional creative relationships? Oh, definitely.
Your DSC is in Pisces, right?? You told me before Pisces don't attract you too much. How about the 12th house, do you like direct overlays in there? I remember you have Venus in the 12th approaching the ASC. ------------------

13 Aries : 8th house cusp 20 Aries : Dejanira conjunct Acacia, sensitive point for physical attraction, also widely opposite 24 Libra Sun 0 Taurus : Jupiter Rx 12 Taurus : 9th house cusp 15 Taurus : Saturn Rx 22 Taurus : Priapus Nothing much really in Aries, but people I'm physically attracted to tend to have planets in my 8th, in Aries. I think you're probably drawn to 8th house partnerships as a way for self-development/evolution (consciously but mostly unconsciously), you must have strong Scorpio/8th house/Pluto? ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... IP: Logged |

Yes Mercury (chart ruler) in Scorpio, exact Pluto Venus Amor T-Square with Pluto at the apex conjunct Antares, and progressed Sun in Scorpio (9°, still a long way to go). I hadn't seen it that way, but that's a very good idea ! IP: Logged |

12th house overlays. I didn't really pay attention before but then I really thought about it and 12th house overlays feature in most of my significant friendships, as well as my marriage (my sun, venus, mercury, uranus and neptune is in his 12 th house. His neptune is in my 12 th house). Oh and the 8th house too, although not as muchIP: Logged |

You mean turning your Kite into a 6 pointed star? Are you sure about that? I think your purpose, direction in this life is your Moon/Uranus. Someone on your Kite flies with you, supports your flight.
