quote:
He (saggitarius) likes her, but wants to be friends first (because of his religion).

If those are accurate birthtimes, this would fit, because her Jupiter opposes his moon. Pretty sure Linda Goodman said in Relationship Signs that this points to some disagreements about religion. But it's not as bad as the square.

Can you post the composite chart? And progressed composite? That will give us a clearer picture.

I like the Venus trine Venus, the wide conjunction of Venus and Mars in Capricorn.

quote:
She thinks he could be playing mind games

That could be her Mars conjunct his Neptune (and hers.)

There was a thread about this a little while ago:

If you keep scrolling down below where you found the composite chart option, the progressed composite chart is given as another option. Also, please include Juno, Ceres, and Pholus; you just click on them in the box in the lower right.

Are these accurate birthtimes?

They have some good aspects in composite and some bad ones. The one that concerns me most is composite Venus square Saturn. A reading:

quote:
Roadblocks to your relationship are notable with the hard aspects between Venus and Saturn in the composite chart, whether they are finalizing plans to be together or frequent problems/burdens that seem to keep you separated or living together but frustrated. While this may not be immediately obvious, displays of affection and intimacy between you tend to be strained, forced, or otherwise unnatural, self-conscious, and lacking in spontaneity. Fear of rejection is the reason for holding back, as there is a feeling that you can't be loose and open with one another without some level of disapproval or confusion. You might argue over money and possessions, as well as personal values, and either of you might attempt to limit the other person's spending or leisurely activities. Jealousy or fear of losing one another can lead you to attempt to limit your partner's enjoyment of life beyond your own interactions. You will both need to be aware of criticizing or limiting one another, or any romantic innocence that you once shared will leave quickly, and the relationship will feel more like a business agreement than a romantic partnership.

Sorry, I didn't see that you had posted the progressed composite!

Wow, they have Venus TRINE Saturn in progressed composite with the square in composite. This might give a false, or fleeting, sense of permanency.

More to say but I have to make lunch, be back later

Back to the basics, though:

His Sag stellium trine her sun, which is loosely conjunct his Jupiter: that is great. I can see the attraction loud and clear. Also, the Venus trine Venus Beautiful.

Currently they have this easygoing sun conjunct Mercury in their progressed composite, conjunct her natal Jupiter. So I can see a lot of the attraction from that: tolerance, good feelings, open communication.

Furthermore, her Mercury is conjunct his north node in Pisces, so she can function as a sort of "guiding light" to him, mentally, as he figures out his life goals and priorities. If his moon aspects her Mercury and/or Jupiter, that will add a lot of affection to the match.

His Jupiter does oppose her moon, and her Jupiter might oppose his, reflecting those religious differences. Since he is a Sag sun conjunct Saturn, this could pose a bigger problem than it otherwise might. Saturn in Sag tends to be religious. With Saturn currently transiting in Sag, these issues will be even more pronounced for him, and may function into some hardship as he faces his Saturn return in the next year or so.

But I don't see any harsh, danger sign warnings in their synastry.

The trouble is, there are a lot of red lines (tension aspects) in their composite. Despite how well they might get along, and respect each other as people, all these tension lines suggest that their relationship will difficult and complicated. I already posted about Venus square Saturn; here is a reading for Venus square Mars:

quote:
"There's a fine line between love and hate" and there is nothing more apparent when Venus is in hard aspect to Mars in the composite chart. You stimulate powerful feelings in one another, and they are insistent and perhaps even impatient ones. Your physical relationship may have developed before your intimate relationship, and it's important to allow intimacy to catch up with you. There can be quite a bit of posing, cat and mouse games, and “foreplay” that is not always of the pleasant variety. It is all too easy to offend one another. Although the sexual attraction is strong, hypersensitivity to one another can often stand in the way of fulfillment.

Inevitably there will be passion and fireworks in your relationship, and just as inevitably there will be friction, argumentativeness, and competition between you - all of which adds to the magnetic attraction you have for one another. Fighting will create more desire and cause amorous feelings to flow. But if one or both of you prefers a more peaceful relationship, all of this intensity can be unnerving. Sexual disharmonies or conflicting needs and desires regarding how love is expressed will have to be worked out. Lack of passion, however, will never be a issue!

This is destined to be a vibrant and very physical relationship. If for some reason the two of you could not physically express your affections for each other, you will find being in one another's presence irritating and frustrating.

They may not have a clear view of this dynamic right now, because in their progressed composite, they have Venus TRINE Mars, which is much easier and more...intoxicating. Unfortunately that will change with time and they may very well get on each other's nerves after a while.

But to get an idea of where the relationship is really headed, you need to consider some other factors, like the progressed charts of each individual and how they play off of the composite charts...also circumstances can play a determining role (if, for example, they get married, that will affect everything about the relationship. Astrology aspects that might work well in friendship could flounder in marriage, or vice versa.)

Hope that helps a bit ~ and I hope others chime in.

Good luck to them
