...on a Cap Full Moon, a research Moon Inspired by the debate....my questions are: 1. What are the most common Moons in your circle of friends/people you get along with? 2. Out of these (assuming lovers are friends, not enemies ) what are the most common Moons in your romantic history? (partners, crushes, people you attracted and are attracted to) 3. Mention if you have a Sun/Moon Sun/Sun aspect with those as well, and which one. Mention if it is in aspect, or just by sign. Anything else you'd like to share about this. Please remember to mention your Moon sign, house and aspects. ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... AstroMandala Summer Readings IP: Logged |

My Moon: Aquarius, 2nd house, quinkunx Saturn, parallel Uranus, contraparallel Plutomy Sun: Sagittarius, 1st house, conjunct Mercury, parallel Venus Family: ------- Mom: Virgo-Moon Dad: Taurus-Moon brother: Scorpio-Moon brother: Sagittarius-Moon (we are a bit of an island in the family. ) aunt: Cancer-Moon
Friends --------- childhood friend; no contact, very close friendship in teenage days, but ultimately very different paths: Scorpio-Moon
oldest friend, no contact, but on good terms: Aquarius-Moon
friend of 25 years, my best friend here: Aries-Moon her husband, whom I have known for over a decade too, two decades now: Aquarius-Moon friend of over 10 years, more or lesss email-friendship, but we met: Cancer-Moon another email friend, lost contact, but got along well Cancer-Moon (and Pisces-Sun) Faith: Pisces-Moon another friend: Sagittarius-Moon crushes -------- oh man....
1st: Aquarius-Moon (first real lovesickness) 2nd: Cancer-Moon (let`s not talk about it) 3rd: Taurus Moon (never mind, he was gay. lol)
and many more, do not remember too well. A lot of Libra, Aries, Sagittarius-Suns. Oh do celebrities count, too? Add LIbra-Moon to the list then. And another Aries-Moon, and some Leo-Moons, not many, not deep, but I DID crush on that Leo-Moon-performer.
And then of course there is Mr Sag with his Sag-Moon. First Sag-Moon in my crush-list (though one of the many Sag-Suns, and especially around THAT date there have ben quite a few). First one I share this Sun-Moon-conjunction with though. Before him there was a bit of a sextile, sometimes a trine, but never a conjunction, and even the other aspects were sparse, especially to my Sun. THIS one is new.

hahaha thank you, Ceri, lovely list Interesting with the Cancer Moon...where do you think it comes from? If I remember correctly, it conjuncts nothing in your chart...maybe opposes your Venus? I'll repost my "Moon situation" from the other thread."I have a 7th house Leo Moon in a very tight fixed cross with MC/IC and Lilith in the 1st house. The other aspects to my Moon are sextile Mercury and a wide Neptune trine. The most common Moons in my circle of friends/lovers, the people I best get along with are: Aqua Moon and Scorpio Moon. Second place (statistically): Pisces Moon (opp my Sun) and Virgo Moon (conj my Sun). I do get along with other fire Moons, on a casual level, but interestingly enough, I don't have these Moons as old friends of many years. I suppose they need a strong fixed and/or Plutonian element for that. BTW, all Pisces and Virgo Moons have strong Puto and/or fixed in their chart (such as Scorpio Venus, ASC, Taurus Sun etc.). All my long-term friends also have strong Pluto, but that's another story." I also noticed, on second glance, quite a share of Libra Moons. Friends only, no romance though. I think the attraction/compatibility comes mostly from my 7th house Moon, but also my Libra stellium, obviously.

I am not fond of Cancer-Moons in men, however for friendships they are okay, as well as Cancer ASC, which I believe stems from my Mom having Cancer-ASC. It is familiar. Those Cancer-Moons usually either conjunct my Saturn, or completing my Venus-Pluto yes. IP: Logged |

Interesting. So it's either a Moon/Venus/Pluto or Moon/Saturn connection, which leads back to your Venus. Bottom line, a Moon/Venus connection.
What does your Venus rule?

I actually think this is a good idea for a thread and I like this thread.I'm an 8th house Pisces moon. It's not really touching anything, unless you count a 7.59 degree trine with Pluto. I don't have most of my friend's birth times. So accuracy is a problem. The other problem is that true to Aquarian form, I have like a million friends, but very few true intimates. That being said, my longest-lasting friends, their moons are probably Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, Libra and Leo. Can't confirm without birth times, though. And an old acquaintance who I love dearly but don't see very often is Cappy sun Aqua moon. All of my exes have had incompatible moons. Every last one of 'em . That being said, still good friends with one of them and we share a belief in astrology - his moon is in Virgo and his sun is Pisces. The longest relationships though were with fire moons (Aries, Sag and Sag). I DO have a fire stellium, but even more air. EDIT: Oh actually, my Virgo moon ex who is still my good friend has sun sextile Venus with me! Currently in the only truly functional relationship I've ever been in in my entire life (fitting that it started during our Saturn Returns), and our tightest aspect is moon sextile moon. IP: Logged |

Me- libra Moon h6, the only aspect it makes is a tight conj with Mars.My sun is Sag h8,conj Venus... it is sq pluto, saturn, uranus and chiron. Both my parents have water moons, my stepdad whom I'm currently residing with is also a water moon. I've been married twice, one had a scorpio moon, the other has a cancer moon. My daughter and son have Earth Moons. My youngest girl has a water moon. Most of my friends have fire moons. These relationships seem to hold up the longest. There are a bunch of air moons as well. I don't think I have any earth moons as friends (besides internet). Historically I go for water moons for romance. But right now I'm dating a Scorpio sun/mars guy with a Gem moon and I'm loving it! Glad you like it, Chiquita lol Oh, you have a peregrine Moon...they usually like hard aspects for grounding, and you seem to go by this rule too. I can see your connections favor mutable Moons in general. Probably a Pisces Sun there or a Scorpio or Virgo Sun would be great for you, romantically. One with a mutable Moon. Moon sextile Moon is a great aspect to have, very supportive. ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... AstroMandala Summer Readings IP: Logged |

Interesting. So you have a Scorpio need, coming from your 8th house and your Pluto aspects. Ex provided it with his Moon, your current bf provides it with his Sun, and brings you a classic Moon trine. Cancer Moon was probably a cardinal-based type of attraction. Going for water Moons in romance could also be related to your familiar environment ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms...

Actually it's funny you mention because my S.O. is a Scorpio sun . Not a fan of Virgo males, though. I noticed that a lot of the time women will go for men whose sun sign complements their moon because I think women identify strongly with their moons (moreso than men) and men tend to really embody their sun.
But I've dated a LOT of mutable moons... no more of those for me!! Especially not cohabiting. I think they're great with me as friends but horrible romantically... my Virgo sun Sag moon friend had a thing for me for years and I can tell you why we'd be a disaster romantically and give you a scroll-length list of reasons . Thank you for providing the Sun/Moon list. It shows every time: Sun/Moon prevails, always. You favor mutable Moons (your Moon) and fixed Moons. Where does fixity come in your chart? Fixed Sun house? what else brings fixity? I take it that your Sun is Cancer. EDIT: or is your Sun Leo? ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... What is interesting is to notice the input of energy. For example, you having a mutable Moon, you have mutable needs, apart from the water needs and other needs, aspect and house based; but if the guy's Sun is Virgo or other mutable sign, he provides mutable energy for you with his Sun, so there's no need for him to bring mutable lunar energy. There is this balance happening, a dance of energies in the whole chart. ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... AstroMandala Summer Readings IP: Logged |

Well I will definitely say that when I was younger (18-23) I was pretty much attracted almost exclusively to mutable signs and dated mostly mutable signs. They were all horrible matches. I spent most of my time with the mutable signs crying. That is not an exaggeration. So mutable men in relationships is my worst nightmare. If the moon is mutable too then I know I will spend 70% of the relationship in tears and misery. I feel like I cannot count on them at all. They want a go-with-the-flow on/off relationship that is not too serious and I want the exact opposite of that. They don't take breakups seriously and for me if they happen it is OVER for good (I almost never initiate them). Which they never understand. My current S.O. who I will probably end up marrying is double fixed - fixed sun and fixed moon. IP: Logged |
