In sidereal my Darakarka is the Moon in Cancer (ruling itself) in the 8th house. Nakshatra is Pushya ruled by Saturn in Leo in the 9th house. In western my Darakarka is Saturn in Virgo in the 9th house, Saturn rules the second house, and Virgo's ruler Mercury is in Sagittarius. Nakshatra is Magha ruled by Ketu in Aries in the 5th house. Since I'm not married yet the jury is still out on which one will apply. Both have a 9th house/Sag theme though, which suits me fine as my Jupiter in the 7th already makes me like Sags. IP: Logged |

hmmm, how interesting....my and his Darakarka are conjunct (exact) in the Sidereal chart - mine is Mercury at 2' Virgo in the 8th house and his is Moon at 2' Virgo in his 2nd house. So, the Narkshara and the lord for both of us is the same. Now the twist is this - our conjuncted darakarkas Moon-Mercury, also conjunct exactly our synastrical tropical Sun - Venus opposition at 1' Virgo-Pisces, AND in the tropical system the Sun-Venus are our Darakarka. SOOOO...our darakarkas conjunct each other in the sidereal, and also conjunct our darakarkas in the tropical. IP: Logged |

I turned off Uranus - Pluto since Vedic doesn't use it Darakarka: Saturn Sign: Capricorn House: Fourth House Capricorn Rules: 5th Nakshatra: Uttara Ashadha Ruler of Uttara Ashadha: Sun Aspects: Sun trine Saturn (0°33) Although Vedic doesn't count trines as the OP pointed out.. Condition of Darakarka: Exalted In the same sign with: Moon, Rahu (North Node) The particular nakshatra of my darakarka does absolutely describe someone I'd fall for..

YAYYY you did it right!!! So your future spouse will likely have the following symbolism in their chart: • Cancer/4th house or a prominent Moon • Aries/1st house or a prominent Mars • Scorpio/8th house or a prominent Ketu • Aquarius/11th house or a prominent Saturn or Rahu They'll also have strong characteristics of Ashwini nakshatra. Here is a very good description of it. http://www.astrogle.com/astrology/aswini-nakshatra-born-characteristics-and-features. html

Is there a way to distinguish between 1st and 2nd spouse? I have used the Upapada to find my first husband, and I think I was able to find my second husband also. Or should I look and see who seems to fit better? IP: Logged |

I'm confused. My Darakarka is Venus in Capricorn(Vedic), it's in the 7th house.So... to find my Darakarka's Nakshatra i look at the deegre of Venus? It's 7 degrees. The Nakshatra should be "Uttara Ashadha "latter victory" or "latter unconquered" 27.40 Sagittarius to 10. 00 Capricorn"???? IP: Logged |

I'm not sure about this since I haven't researched 2nd marriages. But I do remember watching a video by Ryan Kurczak where he mentioned the 11th house was the 2nd marriage, because it's the bavat bhavam of the 7th house (3rd from the 7th), therefore it's like a sibling of the first marriage (since 3rd house rules siblings). Let me try to find the video. EDIT: Here you go http://youtu.be/OzkStFPWYqg (Sorry I'm on my iPhone right now and I don't have access to my PC, so the link is for the mobile YouTube site) IP: Logged |

1) Darakarka: Sun2) Sign and House: Cancer, 1st house 3) what house is Sun ruling : Leo 2nd house 4) Nakshatra and Nakshatra Lord: Punarvasu, Jupiter 5) Aspects: Conjunct Jupiter and Mercury in Cancer 1st house (Ashlesha Nakshatra), and looking at an empty Capricorn 7th house. 1st husband: Capricorn Moon Scorpio Asc Scorpio Sun Scorpio Venus Aquarius Mars Sagittarius Mercury 2nd husband: Capricorn Moon Cancer Asc Sagittarius Sun Capricorn Venus Aquarius Mars Scorpio Mercury So basically I married a Scagicornaquarius twice. I think Jupiter conjunct Mercury describes both of them perfectly. Second husband is very much like my Suns Nakshatra. eta: Thanks Neptunian Venus. I'll take a look at that link. pls dnt quote IP: Logged |
