Someone has their natal Moon conjunct my Draco sun.Would this placement be read the same in a regular chart, or is it different with Draconic? Does Draconic make this aspect deeper? IP: Logged |

Very good question. Draco is where we're headed; we can almost think of it as being 'preparatory' for where we're going next (so to speak). What's 'next up', regardless of where or how that might manifest. I have my boyfriend's tropical SUN conjunct my dMOON by 1°. In a way, his core identity in the present is helping me to develop my greater emotional nature. After all, the MOON's home is Cancer, where it's most expressive and in dignity; the sign in which the Draco-tropical conjunction takes place. I'd say it's similar; dSUN is where you're going; the traits you should develop for your soul's greatest evolution. The tropical MOON indicates that their present emotional nature and profile resonates with this part of your intended development. What's the orb, by chance? IP: Logged |

I just noticed his dMoon is conjunct my dMoon as well The orb is exactly 8. My dSun and his Natal moon is in Gemini... So he was basically meant to teach me how to be more detached from feelings and see things in a clearer perspective opposed to letting my heart blind me? IP: Logged |

8 minutes? Or they're both 8° Gemini? What's the orb of the dMOONs? IP: Logged |

8 degrees apart. For the dMoon's ... I consider it a conjunction still because it's under the same sign, but my Libra is 27'59 and his is 2'21 so technically it's not considered a conjunction to some. IP: Logged |

Neither of them are conjunctions, actually. In Draconic synastry, (and especially Draco to tropical) we keep the orbs very, very tight. The standard is 2º30, but some expand conjunctions between lights to 5º. I've honestly found that to be just a bit too wide in my experience; I'll go to 3º at the absolute maximum. I do think, in the case of 'matched pairs', so to speak -- SUN and MOON, VENUS and MARS, EROS and PSYCHE -- that we can consider an ambient effect if the tropical and Draco share the same sign. There's a sort of subtle simpatico. Of course, this is merely my view. IP: Logged |

Check this out: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/211900.html "Wheneer he taps into his Moon, his emotional nature, your "soul-Sun" is being triggered. It is like he activates an energy, that you might not be compeltely conscious about it at all times, but that is a part of your soul nevertheless (I often seen in my own synastries that people see my Draco planets more clearly than I do myself. For example my friend always admired my independence, energy, straightforwardness and so on, which are qualities inherent of my Draco Sun in Aries. I myself would NEVER have described me that way, but through my interaction with her and seeing how she saw me, I discovered, that these qualities INDEED are a part of me)." Ceri IP: Logged |

Very nice expansion from Ceri, as usual. I wonder how much it might change, when it's a dMOON conjunct (tropical) SUN? Also, my dASC is conjunct his MOON (0°) along with my dVENUS (2°). Similarly, my sidereal MOON is 0° conjunct his dASC! There's a lot of interplay across the three zodiacs. IP: Logged |

So in Draco... our suns are exact conjunct, just seconds apart. In tropical, we are 18degrees apart. So clearly this is significant. Also, my dSun is conjunct his dSun and dASC. My dMoon is conjunct his dDSC. His dMars is conjunct my dDSC, and his dNEP is conjunct my dDSC. What does this all mean? None of these are in our tropical synastry. There's more: his dPluto is conjunct my dMars my dPluto is conjunct his dIC our dMercurys are conjunct exact, seconds off

I'm not entirely sure, as I've never been wholly satisfied with the tropical-to-Draco synastry research body available. But, like you, I have extremely prominent aspects. The dSUN conjunct dSUN intrigues me the most as well. In tropical, our SUNs are 80° apart! I wouldn't have fathomed they'd both be in Gemini, 2° like this. I have to admit, though, it does make me wonder if we aren't twin flames after all. It would fit. All of it. I just have a difficult time making such a pronouncement. IP: Logged |
