Definitely, yes ! Our first house cVESTA-VALENTINE opposite cAMOR is one of the only proper indicators I've found of the wonderfully strong love I feel for him. IP: Logged |

For me Valentine, my Valentine is conjunct Eros trine my Juno and on my IC, it squares my Pluto/AC. My Venus is such a light airy Venus, it's libra Venus. It doesn't fit with the rest of me so when ppl conjunct it without some Pluto aspect to their libra placement, we really don't gel very well. My Venus touches my Pluto so I need more intensity than a typical libra placement.IP: Logged |

I cannot help it, but I like our composite-Valentine, even with the Grand Cross in there. [/URL]

^ Yeah with Valentine aspecting Saturn, Moon, and Juno it has marriage potential I would say and the moon is squaring the Nodes but is in the 12th and ruled by Saturn which falls in the 7th so there could be delays in this relationship manifesting and when the relationship takes off it would be later in life or after some time has passed. You also have moon square mars and Venus square pluto...I could see why you have feelings for him Ceri, nice chart. I don't think grandcross are bad imo, I personally like composite squares and grandcross, they add excitement, energy or challenges that keep things interesting as you know already. IP: Logged |

Huh. I never noticed but I have a Venus/Valentine conjunction with my boyfriend in synastry at 0 degrees. It's kinda hard to say who likes who more - I have an Aries Venus, he has a Scorpio Venus, so intensity and affection displays are quite varied across the board. IP: Logged |

My Valentine squares his Sun & Pluto (1) His Valentine sextiles my Mercury 7H Ruler (1) His Valentine conjuncts my D Sun (2)His Eros conjuncts my Valentine (2) Also want to add Eros-Venus DW I'm not sure how significant the Draconic conjunction is. I know the passion is definitely there, but I think my feelings of love run way deeper. IP: Logged |

Hypatia, "but is in the 12th " There is an interesting thing I noticed about placements in the 12th, in natal as well as composite. While it might often be not acknowledge or recognized by the people involved (unless they look really deep), it often is very visible to the people outside the relationship or personality. Maybe that is the reason that often celebrities, who became "icons" of some sort or embodying some sort of archetype often have a very distinct 12th house energy. Maybe it is cause it is the house of "the rising sun".
"ou also have moon square mars and Venus square pluto..." Yeah, I love those. At least it is not boring. The Venus-Pluto-square happens cause we both have it natally (Venus in Cappy square Pluto in LIbra, just his is in later degrees). Actually the composite Moon-Mars-square overlays his natal Venus-Pluto-square, as c-Moon conjuncts his Venus and c-Mars conjuncts his Pluto. " I don't think grandcross are bad imo, I personally like composite squares and grandcross, they add excitement, energy or challenges that keep things interesting as you know already." Yes, exactly. Also this is a midpoint-chart, and those are closely related to 4th harmonics anyway. I actually wonder about the meaning of trine and sextile in composite, are those even strong enough to register? I tend to mainly consider them, when they appear as a 3rd or 6th harmonic configuration, as they coincide with midpoint patterns this way, but am not so sure about an isolated sextile or trine and its potency in a composite. Though on the other hand I like to see them, too.

That sounds very NICE Ceri! Interesting observations about the 12th house stelliums Ceri. I personally love them as you know I have one with my EX but star Spica, star Arcturus, H47 Poseidon and Valentine conjunct most of Stellium (Sun-Mars-Pluto-h47 Poseidon-Magion-Valentine), actually Spica conjuncts our Valentine at 23d. Interestingly I have a 12th house stellium with someone here from Lindaland but Spica, Poseidon and Arcturus only conjunct Pluto in our stellium and the stellium is arranged totally different; the energy generated is totally different. The stellium with that person is similar to the one I have with my husband but we have it in the 8th. I would imagine that any stellium in any house has its share of pros and cons but you don't have a stellium with him, you have venus and pluto in the 12th and venus is exalted in the 12th . I was more referring to how Saturn rules your 12th house composite and falls in the 7th. I would imagine that pluto in the 12th gives you tremendous power to understand the other on a deep psychological level better than they understand themselves. It would give you the ability to see things about the other they are not aware of themselves and others tend to miss. It reminds me of Johari's window. With Venus also there perhaps you two see each other clearly (pluto in the 12th) but with the love venus brings you help each other heal the pluto 12th wounds or raise each other's awareness of limitations you are unable to see about yourselves on your own.

Actually Ceri in your case the Saturn in the 7th is not just about delays in the manifestation of the relationship but also the age gap. IP: Logged |

I have a Moon cj Valentine DW with someone I have been heartbroken over because a relationship with him isn't possible. --His Valentine cj my Pisces Moon in my 7th (0 degrees) --My Valentine cj his Aries Moon in his 7th, near his 8th house cusp (1 degree) I'd say from my perspective, I felt we had a very deep soulmate connection, or the potential for one. Or maybe my Neptune-ruled moon was just in a daze (wouldn't be the first time!!!). But whatever it is, I'm so disheartened at this point by not being able to pursue a relationship with him that I wish I never knew he existed at all. We also have some seemingly nice Venus aspects: --My Sun trine his Venus (2 degrees) --My Mercury trine his Venus (over 3 degree but definitely felt on my end--Merc in my chart ruler and is very weighty in my natal) --My Mars cj his Venus (3 degrees) --His Pluto contraparallel my Venus (0 degrees) --His moon sextile my Venus (0 degrees) --My Venus quintile his Saturn (0 degrees) --His Venus biquintile my Pluto (0 degrees) I personally find Venus to be veeeeery passive in synastry, with the other planet actively sensing it more at first. Then it's up to the Venus person to respond to the other person's energy. This guy appears to have responded to my combined Sun/Merc/Mars energy by running away. I actually understand. I can be very intense, and I tend to scare men, especially with my wildchild Aqua Mars.
But this Moon-Valentine DW....it seems to represent something that is lingering long after the initial attraction and interest, long after I've resigned to knowing that a relationship between us won't happen, something much deeper and promising. There's a sense of what I could have given to him, something from deep in my soul, and now that I can't, I don't know what to do with myself. There's just...sadness. Venus attractions come and go, maybe you have more between you to make something of them, but whatever this aching I feel deeper down, it doesn't feel very Venusian. IP: Logged |
