What if the venus person also has venus square mars natally?This woman has her mars tightly conjunct my ascendant. But her venus is also square her mars, thus, squaring my ascendant. IP: Logged |

Excellent question. I'm of the belief that this aspect is more problematic if the Venus person is the male in the partnership especially if it's direct. (making the assumption of heterosexual relationship here)
Mars isn't just about sex. It's also about anger, irritation and aggression. It's about aggressive arousal in general. Venus rules what we value, love and what we adore. So here's my guess. If her mars is directly on top of your ascendant while venus is directly squaring it, I'd say this highlights the irritation more and downplays the sexual arousal a bit. Again I think her being female makes this less of an issue.

definitely attraction in my case, from both sides and immediately after we locked eyes. i had this aspect with a guy at 0 degrees and
i have this aspect in my natal as well. he was definitely my type, but we did come from different backgrounds/upbringings. we were just different, yet so similar (tho this is probably due to many oppositions between us). IP: Logged |

Hard / difficult aspects will sometimes cause quite strong attraction actually.
