Topic: Natal T-square turns into a Grand Cross in synastry with a friend :What does it mean?

I know that patterns in natals and synastry are important, but I don't know yet how to interpret them, so I may need some help here! 
I have a natal T-square involving Mars/Pluto squaring my Sun/Mercury and squaring my Ascendant (I am not sure if patterns can include the Ascendant, though). I have also read that in T-squares, the important point is the "release" point, opposite the "apex" of the triangle, because in this way a Grand Cross is formed, which is much easier than the t-square. Then I noticed that in the synastry with my friend (woman), her Sun/Vesta/Ascendant provides this point, almost to the minute!!! My Mars/Pluto are in 24 04'/24 13' Libra respectively and her Ascendant is in 24 07' Aries (!!!), her Vesta in 24 52' Aries and her Sun in 25 36' Aries. So in our synastry a Grand Cross is formed.
But I don't really know how I should interpret it. This connection is helpful for me maybe, but in which way?
Secondly, there may be a similar connection from my natal to her natal, too. Although I don't know if it is as important as the first, because a generational planet (my Uranus) is involved. She has a natal yod, involving her Moon/Venus/Chiron as the apex and Neptune sextiling Pluto/Saturn as the legs. The most exact quinqunx with the legs is her Moon as the apex, in 0 54' Gemini. My Uranus is 0 42' Saggitarius, therefore it's the opposite/release point. Maybe it's not unsignificant, since Uranus is forming an exact trine to my Sun (0 32' Leo).
