quote: But my chart is so aspect heavy that it's only natural I'd feel that way. How must it feel to someone that doesn't have all the planets aspecting each other? Liberating? Free to do whatever planet strikes their fancy without all the other planets ganging up saying "STOP!"? Lol!
I'm with you on that!

There was some truth to it because in my whole romantic history, few planets have positively aspected my moon. Like my moon is saying, "Nothing for me thanks. I'm the martyr moon after all. "

randomly walks into thread^ that is sooo true for me as well, Faith! I've noticed that not too long ago, that somehow my Moon always ends up being either unaspected or harshly aspected with either one or two hard aspects... I think it's because I don't really "own" that Moon yet... Not the good parts, at least. It's like I am not open to the emotions, to the nurturing, the care, the vulnerability, the attachment, and so on... and so it remains untouched or triggered by others. Ps. *hug* to you! <3 tiptoes out of thread IP: Logged |

On topic though... Sun and Mars in the 6H, Scorpio. I've been into some Virgos, yeah. But then again, Virgo is my 5H. With (some) Scorpios it's like a physical pull but rarely emotional... Mars conj. DSC -> I've been with an Aries, with a very strong Mars (in domicile i.e. Aries) BUT that Mars was in the 8H (connection with my Scorpio stuff) AND conjunct Saturn (my own Sun and Mars square Saturn). It was also trine Pluto (my Mars conjuncts Pluto). Sooo there were tons of things that were "mirrored", there... His Sun was in the 9H, and my DSC is in SAG. However, I feel like he lacked that "Virgoness"... My first boyfriend had both Sun and Mars conjunct in the 6H (perfectly mirrored with my own Sun and Mars), they were even in a Water sign (Cancer), which again, "vibed" with my Scorpio stuff. All this to say, so far my relationships have reflected the Sun/Mars dynamics quite well. But my attractions haven't necessarily reflected that.
For instance, I've been attracted to Cancer/Capricorn influenced people and looking at my Sun and Mars, one wouldn't think of that. Like someone else stated, the ASPECTS seem to be very important, as well as the HOUSES affected... So, with an aspect to Saturn, there's some attraction towards Capricorn energy; with an aspect to the Moon, an attraction towards Cancer energy, etc. (Of course that remains the "general rule" and there are exceptions...)

I used to think the whole thing goofy, until I realised how many lunar Sag and Sag rising men with whom I've had relationships. Some whose aforementioned points actually make a conjunction within 3º. As for them? Also a weird predominance of VENUS in Cancer. My 4H is nearly empty, and that's highly underrepresented in my natal. Not until you're into asteroids are you seeing anything there. My dMOON is in Cancer, however. So, who knows? I'd expect more VENUS in Libra men to've crossed my path than what's actually transpired. And VENUS in Scorpio is essentially absent from the lot. It's all VENUS in Cancer, Leo, Virgo, very rarely Capricorn, and sometimes Aquarius. As to MOON? Well, heh, as said before -- lots of lunar Sagittarians, take that as you will. IP: Logged |

Is your Moon or Asc ruler in hard aspect to Jupiter or Jupiter in H1? As for Cancer - H4 ruler in H1, Venus-Moon contact or Asc ruler in aspect with Moon? IP: Logged |

quote: Okay, Sun in the 8th definitely has a Leo vibe for in terms of 8th house attractions.
Lotis, I don't understand this, scratching my head. How does it have a Leo vibe when it's a Pluto house?? My sun is in the 8th too so just curious.

It can have a 'Leo' vibe because whatever is in our 8th house can attract us in an 8th house way. So, Sun in the 8th house can attract us to Leos in an 8th house way. Moon in the 8th house could attract us to Cancers in an 8th house way. Saturn in the 8th house could attract us to Capricorns in an 8th house way. And so on. Planets in our 5th, 7th, and 8th houses, can show they types of people we'll be attracted to. As do the signs on the cusps, the sign and house of the rulers, aspects to the rulers, and sometimes dispositors of the rulers. Everyone's attraction pattern is complex and unique. IP: Logged |

I don't think it's true with me because I should like Tom Cruise with his sun in cancer and moon in Leo. IP: Logged |

I seem to be having it all wrong because I cannot for the life of me get a long with Cancers or Virgos (my sun and mars)! My Mars is sq Neptune and talking Pisces is a whole other ballgame.. Sun (and Moon) is sq Pluto and I can dig a Scorpio Moon anytime of the week.. IP: Logged |

I don't think it's as simple as that. But the partner always mirrors one's own placements in one way or the other. Two of my best friends are born two days apart. Both of them have Venus opp Neptune and their partners both have a Pisces Venus, to name just one example. IP: Logged |

What you describe is actually what I see all the time in synastries. Hard aspects in natal charts seem to overrule the signs the planets are placed in. IP: Logged |

I agree. I think aspects, especially the hard aspects, are questions that are demanding answers. IP: Logged |
