I have nn in Leo as well and i just have to agree with you that from experience Sun om nn in intimate relationships is a big nono. Considering you have several water aspects: asc, mars and some planets in 4th, among your sun, i think Earth is where its at for you. A Taurus, cusp of your 7th, might be what youre looking for. That Merc-Mars square means you'll need someone who can tolerate someone feisty and argumentative. Look for Aries Venus (charmed by Aries-ness) or Moon(love) in Aries or Moon aspecting Mars. Throw in some Scorpio/Pluto and Aquarius/Uranus natally and it could be good  IP: Logged |

right, I didn't read the replies and posted my answer. So you like men. Now I badly want to know how your Venus works..or Mars? Which planet is at work when you fancy someone? I'm not going to edit anything because my reply is pretty intuitive, it's still going to be very similar, especially with Venus being your 7H ruler. Basically, you're an Alpha male Electro DGX, You are a water/air type. You need to be able to connect to your partner both emotionally and intellectually. Probably everyone wants that in a relationship but really, not everyone really needs it as much as air/water type does. You need these needs met simultaneously. I am also water/air type so partly I speak from experience here. For example, I might have feelings for someone but the relationship will not work if we do not understand each other. Chemistry and feelings are not enough. And vice versa, I cannot fall in love with somebody's mind without romantic feelings first. This is a highly idealistic type. Your need for a partner who you can talk to and share interests is confirmed by all these:
Moon in Gemini trine Uranus, Mercury in 3H square Mars. You are more introvert than extrovert. But because of so much air in the chart you might see yourself as extrovert. It's possible. You might be quite open with people close to you. Again, might seem that all of us are open with close people but no, Cancers are not, for example. You, especially, have both Sun and Venus in your 4H of water. So you see how it can go either way. Your chart is interesting.
1) Sun conjunct Uranus in Aquarius ---- stubborn, independent, idealistic. Not someone you can persuade or change.
2) Mars (if we take as ruler of the 1st house -- Scorpio) is on Asc ---- chart ruler on the Asc is Big deal. Stubborn again, you know what you want, inflexible. Can be argumentative but also enjoy discussions that are not smooth (trying to get to the bottom of the topic of discussion is more interesting than nice, agreeable boring talk). You are going to need a partner who can handle intellectual conversations and offer something in return to stimulate your brain, BUT this partner has to concede, your word should be final. Relationships with you are not easy, maybe you find it hard to build them with the opposite gender. Because you are stubborn and don't like to leave your zone of comfort and change. Because your Mars is so important, especially for relationships, it might be most useful to pay attention to Mars (yours) aspects in synastry. See what works for you from past experiences. Venus in Aquarius ----- fits your air side of personality needs description. A girl who's clever, a stimulant.
Taurus on Dsc and Pisces on 5H cusp ----- this fits your water type side. You want someone Stable, someone reliable. Relaxed, practical, someone who's not going to be your 'rival'... Sun conjunct Uranus individual will never be the one who follows, listens and agrees. You need a partner who can just love and accept you as you are, not only without wanting to change you but also being able to follow in your steps quietly. Someone who is as strong, independent and bright as you will not work for you. There will be an ego clash. Look for someone who can provide the comfort your Sun and Venus in 4H crave. Someone quiet, obedient (Gosh,,I know this sounds so conservative and a bit..wrong but yeah..) but NOT stupid. Venus sextile Saturn also shows the earth type of girl. So you have two pointers for a girl who's practical and down to earth, the provider of home comfort you need 1) Taurus on the Dsc and 2) Venus sextile Saturn. You can also take into account Saturn close to Dsc as indicator for the preference of earth type of partner or you can interpret it as yourself being very serious and mature about your choice of other half, over-critical, over-analytical. Venus ruler of 7H in 4H - earth/water type - the best of both worlds. She would be ideal. Moon Pluto opposition. Maybe Scorpio girl (water) or Taurus (earth)? IP: Logged |

Thanks for the answer CapriciousCapricorn! A lot of it fit for me. Although I will say that I definitely feel more like an introvert than an extrovert. Way more so  I typically feel my Mars quite a bit when it comes to liking someone. Mars takes over instantly. I once had tried working a relationship with a Gemini with four planets there, including Venus and Mars. He had a Pisces Moon as well. The relationship ended though; we were better friends than lovers. There was no real passion in the relationship and my Mars wasn't satisfied. I need a lot of closeness when it comes to a relationship. I don't strongly feel like my Venus as much, but I will say that someone who I can have mentally stimulating conversations with is important as well. I have a LOT of vanity crushes, that's something. They come on very strongly.

Your partner should have lots of Leo to complete you, Electro in any case I would go for fixed Moon and Venus, the entire geometry of your chart is completed in the 10th house, around your MC/NN (with surrounding 11th, something important in the 2nd too, conj your Pluto), which goes well with your Saturn DSC. Happy 2017!EDIT: Geometry aside and interestingly enough, most Saturn/DSC I know (I am one of them too) need and have partner placements around MC in important relationships. ------------------

That's interesting LeeLoo! I've always found that I've been most physically attracted to Cancer Suns with Leo Mercuries. It's a common trend that I have been noticing, and they have had mutable moons. One of them was in Virgo and the other was in Sag. ------------------
