I know this does not count. But when I first saw the synastry, my instant thought was: "Who is he? My freaking mirror?" lol [/URL]

my only advice is if you like someone then that is more important than verifying synastry. because your feelings are the truest essence. theres millions of synastry things IP: Logged |

Agreed soren. I'm leery to post my synastry because it's considered traditionally hideous by many astrologer's standards. I'm living in the relationship that works for me, which is more important then fitting a cookie cutter outline for perfect synastry. (Not to mention Faith never posts her synastry with her husband and even though my relationship is nowhere near that tier of dedication I can't help but deeply appreciate the mystery there) IP: Logged |

^^ beautifully said. Why would you want others to put a dampner on your relationship? Some people are easily swayed by others opinions. I will always come back to the body (probs because I'm a dance therapist) but the body never lies. Go with your feelings and they will never ever lie. I know that I feel lifetime upon lifetime of history with my soulmate. I know it with all my heart and it runs deep through my veins. No one can ever take that away from me. Astrology is very 'head' oriented. We must be careful of that. IP: Logged |

There are two persons in my life that i've considered and still consider my soulmates. 1) Mr.Uranus. Meeting him turned my life upside down, and he's still here. We're very good friends and always can rely on each other. We have significant nodal contacts (his ASC exactly on my SN, his NN conjunct my MC), his 7th/8th house ruler Uranus has been very significant in synastry, in composite, in transits, etc. We have a telepathic connection. I've seen precognitive dreams about him before he got really sick and almost died. 2) My boyfriend. I saw him in a dream a year before meeting him. He appeared in a uniform and told me "I have returned to you from 1928!". Fast forward one year and i met him in real life, the same person, same job, i was amazed. And since that first meeting i knew that we were going to be together. We are totally in love, i still see him through rose-colored glasses but i honestly cannot see any flaw in him! He's like the most perfect man for me, because he's everything i've ever wanted. His Venus exactly conjuncts my Neptune on his DSC. The funny thing about all this is the fact, that they both have become friends as well. Mr.Uranus's Moon and my bf's Sun are exactly conjunct! They also have Venus-Jupiter conjunction and other very favorable aspects between their charts!

I see a lot of charts here with a Saturn - Moon hard aspect, or at least Saturn - personal planet ( the notion of pain and love). IP: Logged |

my friends have that, too. Her Saturn opposing his Moon. they share Saturn square nodal axis with 3 degree orb. I donīt quite believe in unaspected planets though; it always depends so much on what orb one uses, and what aspects, really. -----------------------
my parents have Saturn aspecting Venus and Mars mutually, and the SN and Sun as one way aspects They have the partile Saturn conjunct SN. --------------------------------------
my brother and his girlfriend have Saturn trine Sun in one direction, and Saturn trine Venus into the others - both aspects are partile. they also have a partile sesisquare of Saturn to the nodal axis - one way. Their composite has a wide 7 degree conjunction of Moon to Saturn in Scorpio in 7th house
------------------------------------ ------------------------------------
Interestingly the three relationships in my surrounding that stood the test of time so far all had Saturn in dynamic aspect to the nodal axis. It might be just a personal preference of my "astro-peer-group" though.

Ceri, yes, I had an old thread listing the Saturn-Nodal aspect in many celebrity synastries. There is something very intense going on with this aspect ( Saturn - Nodes). I have it in mine with an exact 0 degree sesquisquare between my NNode and his Saturn. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/222388.html IP: Logged |

Yes,t he sesisquare seems to come up a lot, too! I noticed that, well at least when it`s close to exactness. As in the case with my brother and his girlfriend. (coincidentally Mr Sag and me have that as well. my Saturn semisquare his NN.)IP: Logged |

Definitely. It's an entire pattern in my case. I was already amazed when seeing in my 2nd relationship a Saturn/SN conj... but then.. ow my gosh, here the chronological order - my most significant relationships; 1) Saturn/NN conj (2) 2) Saturn/SN conj (2) 3) COMPOSITE Saturn/SN conj (EXACT) 4) COMPOSITE Saturn/NN conj (EXACT) - current. Guys,So ok, let's say there are Saturn and Node links in synastry. What about them? I don't understand..soulmates, twin flames..we are looking for past life? Karma? Well, two people could have had some affiliation with each other in past life but maybe nothing to do with love at all. Then those aspects are pointless. All they show is karma. Somebody comes into our life, we spend x amount of time together to solve what we did not solve in the past life. When done, that person leaves. Job done. Or doesn't leave. We don't know. We think 'oh he's my twin flame', then something happens after years of being together and 'oh, no, he's not'. So all we can suspect and possibly conclude is that we were in a karmic relationship. And nothing else beyond that. IP: Logged |

In synastry, however, Saturn on Nodes is a separative aspect, especially the square, more often than not.The relationship has the on and off quality. The two people involved do stay in each other's lives but more likely than not - living separate lives. I prefer if I dont have that aspect in my relationship synastry. It's heavy, addictive, hard to let go, hard to live with, hard to live without. Such a bummer. IP: Logged |

Saturn and Node provide glue. That`s all. No more label attached to them. We are doing too much labelling anyway. I really donīt care for that terminology anymore. And Iīve never understood that aversion against karmic relationships. A lot of things in life are karmic, so what?
Soulmate - twinflames - it`s just words.
No, I did not share any of those examples because I feel the need to prove they are either, or categorize them. I shared these as examples of long lasting loving committed relationships, that actually worked (however we would define a "working relationship"). I also think we should not underestimate earthmates either.

Nope. Not in my observation. But of course it always depends on the overall synastry. Waht I think it does, is providing glue. But that`s all I would say about it, really. The happy love must show up elsewhere. But if you have that, Saturn-square-Node, are a Saturnian partner yourself and the synastry also shows some really loving aspects, then the square of Saturn to anything isn`t separative at all. However if Saturnian relationships scare the crap out of you, and the synastry shows deeply seated powerissues and pretty much no love and mutual respect, then of course it will fall apart. but because Saturn is what it is, the break-up might be very difficult still. EDIT And in the examples I have seen definitely not living separate lives but instead being sort of an unit with a shared vision of what they want in life.

It's my boyfriend's SATURN in my 8H conjunct his sidereal Karmic Signature (stellium of three points) conjunct my sidereal CHIRON (Skipped Step) that revealed that we had a Murder Karma that was acting as a loop until we 'defeated' it with unconditional love -- choosing to love one another over each other's principles, or disapproving society. There are other links, but it was mainly the SATURN/8H overlay on his KS and, conjunct his own sNNODE. (As in sidereal NNODE). Granted, it's not a synastric SAT/NODE. But it has the same flavour. We just happened to also be twin flames. You really can't tell that from the astrology. Not yet, anyway. IP: Logged |
