I was reading through your argument with Kannon about someone's progressed Moon being in conjunction to another person's Sun or Ascendant (personally I think your both right), and I did some digging of my own and turns out...

My sister's progressed Moon was conjunct her husband's natal Sun in Libra by 3 degrees. His Sun is about 3 degrees Libra, her progressed Moon is at 0 degrees Libra on the day they got married, neither of them are rectified yet though, but my sister's is close enough to still be in Libra anyways.

My Mom's progressed Moon was conjunct my Step-Dad's Ascendant in Cancer on the day they got married, again neither of them are rectified yet but close enough to work with with TOBs they gave me.

I then stumbled upon something intriguing... I looked at mine and another woman's progressed chart that I'm interested in, turns out her progressed Moon is currently in Taurus, mine is currently in Sag. but in about 4.5 years time her progressed Moon will conjunct my natal Sun in Cancer (near-exact), mine will conjunct her's in Aquarius (near exact).

I have only seen it as a one sided conjunction so far, so my question for you is... What do you think it means that both me and this woman will have it both ways?

Does it necessarily mean marriage? Or could it mean some kind of business venture? Teacher/Student dynamic...perhaps?

Have you personally seen this happen to any other couples? What did they say about their experience?

just wanted to say that I think any tight conjunction between two progressed-progressed and progressed-natal sun/moon, or sun/venus is significant

on the day my parents got married, mother's progressed sun and father's progressed moon are at the exact same degree

Does it only count with progressed to natal or can it go the other way as well?

This makes it stronger, though one conjunction is enough.

That you've begun a relationship before the conjunction means that when the planets come into alignment it will mark a turning point in your relationship. Things make become official, or you may go your separate ways.
