I know we usually look at Saturn & Uranus but do you check the transits to Composite, Progressed Composite or Natals? And which one do you put more weight on?IP: Logged |

IME, it’s usually natal stuff. Transit Saturn conjunct/square/opp Venus or the 7th house, 5th house ruler is a big one or the ASC/DSC axis. Also transit Uranus conjunct/square/opp your DSC or Venus, 5th or 7th ruler or ASC/DSC axis. Neptune sometimes as well. It’s usually not just one of these though but a combination. Like say venus rules your 5th and and is conjunct Saturn. That’s going to put a big strain on your relationship and make you seriously think about the long-term and if you see a future. If you don’t with that person that’s usually when you’ll break up. Most recent case I seen was a friend of mine and his gf of 4 years, she broke up with him and left him for his best friend. Transit Uranus was 3 degrees conjunct her DSC and exact square her 5th ruler Neptune 👍 It was sudden and unexpected. Mars was also conjunct her 5th ruler Neptune showing her new guy/relationship starting and it being very passionate. Another example, another guy broke up with his long term gf when Uranus was 3 degrees square his DSC axis, Neptune conjunct his 7th ruler and transit Saturn conjunct his natal Venus in the 5th house and Venus was his 5th ruler. Opps, my 7th house ruler Jupiter is squaring tSaturn now at 2deg and my Venus, which is also my 5th house ruler, is squaring tNeptune at 3deg. Perhaps that's why I've been thinking of breaking up.But tJupiter is also exactly conjunct my Dsc now and moving into 7th house. Also, if you have more than one relationship, which one will this transit affect? The main one?

Another chart I'm looking at has Saturn on the Dsc squaring 5th house ruler. Uranus is also opposing IC (What does this mean? A shake-up to the home base?).IP: Logged |

Lol that would probably be why yes And hmm, good question. I would assume if the transits are affecting the 5th or rulers, that would be the “side” piece. If it’s involving the 7th or it’s ruler then the main relationship or the one you’re committed primarily. IP: Logged |

This is a good time for the person to start a serious/committed relationship with Saturn on the DSC. Or if their already in one, it will either move to the next level or break up if it’s not serious. Uranus on the MC can bring changes to the work/career area or a big change at home opposing the IC yes. like a move/change of residence. IP: Logged |

Jupiter on Dsc and transiting the 7th house is a good thing, isn't it? IP: Logged |

More often than not, easy transits can cause a break up as much as the harsh ones. From my own experience: the day I had Jupiter conjunct my natal Venus transit, I celebrated 12 years together with my fiancé. The day after I met a new colleague at work and the attraction that hit us right away was beyond anything I have ever experience. I chose to stay in my relationship and nothing ever happened, to this day I feel guilty but in the end it was my choice what to do. I chose my integrity. I was going through Pluto square Venus for the past 2.5 years and somehow Universe has decided to put temptation behind every corner. I have never met so many men interested in me and at the same time me interested in them. Pure hell but my relationship survived. But only because I decided to let my imagination go freely and do nothing in reality. IP: Logged |

Good for you. I was in a long term relationship and I felt a intense attraction to someone (it was mutual) but I chose my relationship. It is silly to break off something that is stable and secure and real for an infatuation which will probably never work out. I was going through progressed moon in Pisces and this definitely made me feel 'bewitched', when progressed moon entered Aired I snapped out of it lol. I actually predicted I would snap out of this feeling of infatuation when moon will enter Aires and I did.

I also predicted things will get easier once Pluto will get off of my Venus and progressed Moon out of Scorpio. The intensity of the experience is hard to describe. I was sexually charged all the time. It was crazy. You are right, it's silly to break up with someone because of infatuation but at the same time it might be a lesson from the transit to learn. Maybe I was supposed to let go and get into something new ..

Honestly, I think all four of the outer planets Saturn to Pluto can cause enough trouble for a break-up to occur. Just for different reasons. You would need to look to the natals and composite paired with an ephemerides to determine whether or not it would happen. It's as general as that. I don't think you can tie something so broad down to a select of transits because it depends on the people and their situation/cause for relationship issues. But, yes, it is true that transits from those harsh outer planets often make or break people. IP: Logged |

Jupiter is a planet of freedom and breaking boundaries so having it transiting your 7th house means you wanted to find more freedom and lose boundaries in your relationship. That could have been interpreted in many ways but in your case it obviously meant you just broke it off altogether lol. IP: Logged |

Depends what Jupiter was doing in his chart. I also have found out that for example a Sun-Venus progression often leads to a break up because the person affected meet the love of his life.

Does this apply to progressed venus conjunct natal sun as well? IP: Logged |
