I found your chart from our old thread. I don't complete it because you need something in early Cancer. But I support your Venus with mine, and my Chiron. And my Uranus. I widely square you with my Pluto.

Interesting.

Yeah.. always interesting

I have big issues with Cancerians for romance. Unfortunate, because I long for nurturing in relationships.

I am not sure if it's because it's opposite my Venus, or because it squares my Moon, or because a Cancerian man does not fit well with my (super-boosted) Sag Mars (conjunct Jupiter). Or even if it's it's because Mercury on that North side of the chart just doesn't do it for me. My chart is very western/northern dominant.

So far then, I do not like it when someone completes my t-square and forms a grand cross. But I am talking romantically. Because, I do tend to stick well with female Cancerians and have a lot of them in my life!

The ruler of my 7H is too, in my 10th, so again with the Capricorn flavour.

I've just come to own more my 7H, and I am more Cancerian when relating.

I find that anyone who supports my Venus (including Venus conjunction) is good for me overall, because it boosts my esteem. But we know that it depends on their chart condition too.

My Venus is probably not in great condition in the 12H, and with my Moon squaring it. So, if I was to have only one supported, I would choose Venus.

My Moon is conjunct Uranus too. So, my Venus is ganged-up-on by both of them, and from the more assertive 10H.

In my early days I would go more the Moon. But the Moon is so reflective and dependent, it does nothing for strengthening myself and I tend to loose my identity because (if) it squares my Venus. I need that Venus boost is what I am saying.

As I've got older I've learned to manage them both a bit better. Or, at least, be aware of them.

We don't know his TOB.

It's good that the ruler of his Gem Venus deposits in Cancer. Ditto with his Moon.

His Saturn and Moon are in mutual reception. His Jupiter and Neptune are in mutual reception.

I feel a bit funny about how the NN squares that very tight Jupiter/Juno conjunction as a reflection of his character. And as does Venus.

This conjunction of his though, gives some relief to your Sun/Moon opposition. It's a bit wide, but will pack enough punch because it's a strong conjunction. It's important too, because it's a strong Juno and Jupiter that's involved: both are important for love. And yes, opposite your Mars for some fun There's a nice little configuration going on there that will be good for longevity, imho

That conjunction is right in your 4H too. Infact, all his planets, as you will know, are activating your relationship houses. Hubba hubba.. all those planets of his in your 8H.. Including Saturn.. hmm..

Your Mercury/Sat gives a bit of relief to that same square.. it's a bit wide though. His Mars is there already anyhow so, you there's a bit of a party going on there, even though it's wide, there's enough planets involved. [What's in like with a Mars on your Mercury btw? I had it with Hyp]? Also, it's good that his Mars is nice and clean so the aggression wont be too much. And same with your Mer/Saturn - nice and clean too.

That Mercury/Sat of yours gives a nicer, closer, relief to the opposition with his Chiron and Uranus (as does his Mars). And this is substantial I think, because, Saturn will stabilise that Uranus business.

And you Sun (and Val) gives a bit of relief the the other square with his Pluto and Saturn.. but wide again.

However, your Venus (again) gives a good relief to that same square. Closest orb to his Saturn. I think this is really noice.

There seems to be a bit of good action around your Venus (and Saturn) that is contributing to his chart.
To have Venus is important

Statistical side note: it's quite remarkable in any chart that there is such a high rate of planetary aspects.. the odds of this happening I mean.

Hey, tell me - what's Cancer on the 8H like for you? ACTUALLY, I will ask you about your 4H(Pis) 5H(Ar), 7H(Gem), and 8H(Can), please. These are the same as Hypo.

I hope I am not repeating anything that you have already stated

Edit: I may have made a few mistakes. I'll check it again soon and fix <3

sass you typed out such involved responses! thank you so much

I have been swamped here and am just now getting back to you. I am sorry!

So first how I feel my houses- I am a scorpio ASC so I feel this increases the intensity for me. I am very scorpionic though. I blame this on 8th house Cancer Sun, with Lilith. Notice my 2nd and 8th houses are encapsulated though. They are trapped. I need Gemini people to let me in to my 8th house and Sag people to let me in to my 2nd.

8th house Cancer is very intense emotionally. I require a lot of depth and emotional involvement in ALL relationships. I am very emotionally invested when I accept a person in to my circle. And I keep that circle tight! Once you are in, I am intensely connected to you. If you cross a personal boundary though, the 2nd house Cap Moon shoves you out and slams the door.

7th house Gemini actually begins in Taurus. But the only Taurus I care about is Taurus 20ish degrees because it hits my Moon and Mars. I prefer Venus here. I love Gemini people and given my Virgo planets I do quite well with the energy.

4th house Pisces- not sure about this. Other than thinking about your comment about my 12th house Scorpio Uranus. Felt that in the context of my family life being very confusing and unclear. They were very rigid and disciplined parents, but it lacked emotional depth. So you hit the nail on the head that the instability came from the outside. I never felt like I belonged, and I could not tell that it wasn't an issue with me but with others. I belonged nowhere. Only now as I have embraced who I am without care for fitting in, do I finally feel at peace. And interestingly, I now draw people to me (thinking friends and career.) They fit in with me, whereas before I tried to fit in with them.

In synastry I don't often have Pisces planets and haven't done as well when I have. Pisces Moons haven't worked as well for me as you would think.

Aries 5th house- almost never activated for love. Friends- tons of Aries people. But not romantic. I much prefer my Mars to be activated because its a triple whammy- ruler of ASC, ruler of 5th, and in trine to my Moon.

So does that help you understand hypo?

his jupiter juno conjunction trines my own jupiter! loving that

I think I actually do feel his mars on my mercury. we have really active conversations- tons of fun! my neptune trines his mars too.

I have never experienced Saturn in my 8th before. Hoping with my Saturn influences it's not a killer.

he is sun saturn conjunct so it fits my moon type too, in addition to his own moon being conjunct mine.

Hahahahahaha! Oh you’re direct.

But I have different Mars and Venus than your guy. Intensity is important. I’m not technical, I’m emotional. But I also have Eros and litlith with sun and Jupiter all opposing moon. Mars is latched in to that. I don’t know how much you can go by house alone.

From my partner I like intensity, feeling, and fun. I like active guys and prefer rough-edged men to fancy boys or sweet, gushing, poem-Reading lovers. How that would transfer to a man who has these placings I don’t know?

I am aware of this and can assess with this in mind. Yes still, for you to explain can be hard to isolate the house in query

Just saw this thread on Sun/Saturn conjunct if you're interested. I know someone who has same I just remembered:

interesting - Sun Saturn feels a lot like Cap Moon. just coming from Dad. So i would guess both of his parents had high expectations for him.

so, his ASC ruler trines my ASC ruler, and our DSC rulers also sextile. Moons conjunct. I am not in his 8th house, but his 8th house ruler squares my Sun and Moon, and sextiles my 8th house ruler (Mercury).

I am not a huge fan of the 12th house composite mars. I have experienced that in the past but in the previous relationship it was also conjunct uranus and that was bad. Here it is trine to Chiron and conjunct Valentine, so maybe that eases things.

I am not as worried about the Uranus Chiron opposition in composite as we both have it tight in natal. I also think the geometric configurations of grand cross in synastry and T square in composite will be binding.

I am considering that 11th house stellium. I think this will resonate with him as his 8th house is Uranus ruled. It resonates with me too as I have Juno in Aqua. Moon in the 5th, never had that. I like it because I think it lightens some of the Cap essence. And we definitely do have fun a lot. When planning dates with him I find myself constantly wanting to "do something fun" more than just going out. That's new to me.

with that juno jupiter conjunction now on his MC, it elevates the importance even more. and I hit that with my Jupiter, moon and mars.

Pluto in 1st house composite. If this continues to develop it will be an impactful relationship.

Wow, Stonemoon, you've done some thinking around this. I really love the depth and breadth you have the capacity to go to.

Thanks for the grid! Can we have one too on his natal pleese?

I'll be back

added his aspects for his natal

I put him at 6:20 bcs he said 6ish in the morning. I feel like he is a 12th house Sun, not a 1st house. He definitely has a Pisces vibe to him. And that would be an interesting correlation because if he's 12th house Sun he has a Neptune vibe, while I have a 1st house Neptune and have this vibe myself. The Cancer ASC makes all the sense in the world. I am not sure about his Moon. I do feel it is a 7th house Moon.

Ok got it.

That you both have Sun opposite Moon, and in the same signs, is uncanny, Stoney.

It will go a very long way I think.

I've just moved house and settling in. I'll be back "soon"

Have you seen this thread on love stelliums? : http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/215940.html

No rush over here. I am actually enjoying letting it unfold and letting me just work it out on here in the meantime. We not only have Cancer Sun opposing Cap moons, we are also both challenged with Neptune Venus, and both of us have the Moon Uranus connection with chiron involved. There are many other non-astrology related things going on that lead me to think this might be something more than past relationships too. Postng the Davison too because it solidifies what the composite shows.

The differences- in composite we have Valentine Mars. Here we have Valentine and Amor trine/sextile to Venus and Moon. And Jupiter still supports the whole stellium/opposition. And in both, mars is supporting/providing positive ease to the grand cross structure.

I am at quite close range with a Cancerian at the moment and who is completing my T-square.

I'm collecting data.

That's great Stonemoon. I can see why with that Jupiter.

I think it's going to be interesting because I like the composite that, I assume, will provide a feeling that you both "have something" and that potential exists. This is contrasted with the synastry, that has some tricky bits.

Typical relationship, hey?

Something that I like to do for fun is to strip the synastry orbs right back to -80 even -50 to discover the aspects that are humming at the baseline.

I have had Jupiter ascendant before, but with their Jupiter on my ASC. So this is sort of a first. My sisters asc is 25 Cancer, so my sun on her asc overpowers Jupiter, but I was enthralled with her for a long time. Still adore her, but other synastry bits won out.

So for him... tightest synastry aspects would be

Moon conjunct moon, 2 degrees
Jupiter trine Jupiterand his Juno, 2 degrees
My Jupiter conjunct his sun, 3 degrees
Venus square venus, 3 degrees
Mars trine his moon, 2 degrees
Mars opposite his Jupiter, 3 degrees
His mc/ic looks to be right on my Nn/sn
His valentine conjunct my nn, 2 degrees

Is that what you mean? My mind doesn’t care about the orbs from lines and percentages because I memorize numbers. Once I know a chart, it’s locked in my brain and I overlap them in my head.

In terms of relationship we are in crush mode. We are older but this feels like young love. Standing outside our cars for an hour talking because you don’t want the date to be over. 😁. That kind of sweet stage. All the men I’ve dated up until this point had an agenda. I don’t feel an agenda from him.

So that’s me. How about your younger Cancer friend?

Sounds lovely ! That's a great picture standing outside cars.. and yes, sounds like Jupiter.

I've moved and I am now sharing with a Cancerian man. We share a house, so it's not intimate and I haven't done his chart. Nothing to report, except that I think he is completing my t-square. So I am observing that

Otherwise no romance for me.. Just, a couple of male friends around. And also Dreamer is still around. I am catching up with him next week

Dreamer? I don't remember which chart he is. Not the hypo guy, and not the one with all the squares... so one of the other two...

sharing house with a Cancer man will be interesting and I would love to check out that chart. Are you still doing online dating? or is that on hold for the moment? I find it so irritating after a while and just go back to solitude. This guy of mine was on there, but we actually met through mutual friends so I feel better about that.

I will say this- with charts always so intertwined I always struggle to separate what aspects feel like what. Jupiter on the ASC, jupiter trine jupiter, mars to moon, moon to moon... what is doing what? And essentially those are all interconnected too.

I would really love to delve in to parallels. I have never seen so many planets in parallel, both between synastry and composite planets. It's insane. I feel like there has to be significance to parallels more than what we currently give. And there is not much out there on them.
