My 7th house is sagittarius and for some reason sagittarius suns just irritate me! I'm a taurus and maybe it's because these signs are quincunx but there's an initial attraction but after a little bit omg, I just can't lol. I also have an unaspected Uranus conjunct my descendant/south node in the 7th. Does anyone else have to avoid the sign on their 7th house cusp? IP: Logged |

Not avoid, but don't remember ever so far at least going through my Aquarius DC instead of its antiscion degree(s) in Scorpio. Most people sticking around longer in my life have had something around that spot instead. The latest I remember finding out about was a friend of some years, charts not seeming to suggest anything that particularly special or stellar until finally checked her draconics. Turns out her draconic ASC is on the antiscion of my DC, among other things. My current post to Todd has the other person's Sun antiscia my draconic descendant - although I don't normally consider things that way around on my part. It was however also the position of the Sun of my first childhood friend, so something there, I guess. Have you looked at what the antiscia of your Sag DC does, somewhere in Capricorn? IP: Logged |

I just learned about those aspects and I was going to say that I really really like capricorns but only if their sun falls into my 9th house which makes it a much later degree. I don't like anyone in my 8th house either lol. IP: Logged |

I also have Dsc in Sag and a Taurus Sun and I'm also NOT attracted to Sag Suns! They somehow irritate me after awhile. Haha.. and this is even though I've a Sag Moon! We can only click on a shallow friendship level. :P IP: Logged |

You also have to look in which sign and house your Jupiter is and what hard aspects it makes. That will give you more information on who you might be attracted to. You won't necessarily feel attracted to a Sag Sun but you will definitely notice someone whose Asc ruler is in Sagittarius and that could be almost any planet. Someone with a Leo Asc and Sun in Sag would be more to your liking than someone whose Sag Sun is not their Asc ruler, for example.IP: Logged |

I, for example have a Libra Dsc with Dsc ruler Venus in Virgo in H6. I'm way more attracted to Virgos than Libras. As a matter of fact, I'm more attracted to Virgos than any other sign.I have Pluto in H7 and I also like people with a Scorpio Asc and Asc ruler Pluto in Libra. It's not enough to just look at the Dsc sign to understand who we are attracted to. IP: Logged |

Jupiter only makes a trine to venus and sextile to saturn in my chart. I did date a guy with a Leo stellium for a while but we had everything square everything lol. Sun, moon, venus, all square. I'm way more attracted to scorpios or people with their sun or moon in their own 8th house, not so much capricorn. IP: Logged |

^^In which sign and house is your Jupiter? You can also post your natal chart, I like guessing what the ideal dob of a possible partner might be. IP: Logged |

Oh thank you for this thread! My DSC is right on the cusp of Cancer and Gemini, in Cancer. Not only have I never had a Cancerian partner, I usually feel pretty repelled by the energy. I have always always wondered about this! Otherwise I feel pretty strongly about the role of the DSC and what it represents for us. If I post my natal, do you think you might be able to comment on my Cancer enigma? IP: Logged |

Sounds about how I feel about my descendant. It's not just people who's sun falls into my 7th, it's sagittarius in general and what that energy represents. Blahhhhhhh! Let's see your chart too. IP: Logged |

My most important relationships have been with a Pisces/asc Libra, a Virgo/asc Virgo, and a Taurus/asc Scorpio - no Cancer energy anywhere in these charts! I only once dated someone whose Venus was in Cancer, but I do think I found this pretty sappy about him. It’s such a mystery to me.

Is this something you'd maybe do for others as well? I can post a separate thread addressed to you to not clutter this up for answers to the original question if you like or are open to it? IP: Logged |

My 7th house cusp is in Leo, but Virgo is intercepted in my 7th house. I tend to be attracted to guys with Virgo placements but not Leo. However just recently I do like a guy who happens to be a Leo. I don’t really like the personality of Leos, however I found myself very attracted to this guy for some reason. Im not sure if it is because my 7th house or maybe he’s just one of those rarities. I don’t find myself feeling like I can actually marry a Leo though. Unless he has some placements in water. I don’t know. I cant really say much because I have not been in a relationship. ------------------ I appreciate the masterpiece that is you, because your existence alone is art IP: Logged |

I have to ask, are any of you using daylight savings time for your ToB? If so, don't. It will lie to you about your ACTUAL ascendant and descendant. IP: Logged |

7th house isn't about attraction. It's about partnership. Mainly business partnerships. People forget that the whole idea that marriage is supposed to be based soley on attraction is extremley new and astrology is thousands of years old. Until pretty much a generation ago, marriage was essentially a business partnership where two parties fulfilled their duties to the family and one another. Usually a person you LIKED enough to do this business with was picked. The idea of love and attraction came after the marriage. IP: Logged |

Did HelixID disappear? Hehe.. I would like her to take a look at my natal as well.Other than my 1st r/s with a Sag Sun (horrible and short-lived), I've never been attracted to another Sag Sun. Instead, I was deeply in love with 2 guys with Leo/Cancer/Virgo/Libra placements. I've Sag Dsc with Jupiter in Aries 11th house, Moon conjunct Neptune in 7th house. I noticed your sun is in the 12th house also 🙂 I prefer people who light up a different house in my chart. Idk, maybe the 7th is just too demanding for me? Your moon in the 7th could also be pushing you away from your descendant sign too. I'd think you'd prefer someone who lights up houses that would be on the serious side like the 4th or 8th houses. My 2 serious relationships were with a Leo/scorpio rising and a taurus/leo rising. I'm actually dating a sag now and sometimes it's just so nerve wracking! When I saw his whole chart though I can see where the deeper pull is but daaaaang that sag energy 😂 IP: Logged |

My 7th house cusp is Cancer. Not usually attracted to Cancer suns, though we do get along, but they don't have the "it" factor for me. Maybe because my Moon is conjunct my Descendant in Cancer and it feels too familiar to be exciting? I'm not totally sure, lol. Cancer Mars really does it for me, though. IP: Logged |
