I believe it’s mutually felt, although it’s more the Vertex person whose life gets touched the most and sometimes pulled in a different direction.

I have it romantically in my current relationship, and also in a friendship where we work creatively together.

From my experience the difference between anti-vertex and vertex would be..

Anti-Vertex is something you anticipated in your dreams. It’s like you go out on a Saturday night and kinda hope to meet someone new, and then it happens, and that person is so much different from who you’d normally date but this is kinda what you wished for.

Vertex on the other hand is falling in love with someone you never thought about at all.

In a situation that is more platonic, it’s like getting a gift by your neighbor or a complete stranger. They give you drawing tools and paint and you think it’s silly but then you develop a passion for that and become really good at it. This is basically Venus to your Vertex. You benefit by this gift in a fundamental way, but you could also decide to reciprocate by drawing sth for that person or showing your gratitude. The Venus person could also take pleasure in watching you thrive and in knowing that they played an integral part in this.

Translating this again to romance: the way the Venus person shows affection and also their style is inspiring to you and has a huge effect on your way of relating and your own style.

From my experience I don’t see it activated by transits, like you don’t necessarily need a transit to your vertex to actually meet someone who’d put a planet on your vertex in synastry. But what I often encountered is that the transit nodes often form aspects to your sun or moon or your angles when someone special is bound to come along, or sometimes a planet transiting your nodes.

Btw Vertex contacts can be longterm but not necessarily.
They also don’t indicate how much you love someone.
The only thing it shows, is the significance of an encounter to your personal development.
