Hi all!
I'm trying to learn more about midpoints - specifically, comparing a composite chart's midpoints to natals.

I read a few threads but couldn't quite find the answers to my questions. Here they are:

Q1. When comparing, are we looking for exact degrees?
For example, in my chart with someone, we have:
- Venus/Uranus midpoint in 1 degree Capricorn. They have Uranus at 1 degree Capricorn.
- Venus/Saturn midpoint in 6 degree Capricorn. I have my Ascendant in 6 degree Capricorn. Their Saturn in on 7 degree Capricorn - would that still count or is it about exact degrees?

We have many others within 1-2 degrees (Their NN on 25 degree Aqua, composite Moon/Venus midpoint in Aqua 27, for example).

Q2. Do you include asteroids?
- They have Juno on the exact same degree as our Sun/Venus midpoint, and Valentine exactly on the Sun/Mars midpoint.
- I'm a degree off. I have Cupido on 16 degree Aquarius, and our Moon/Mars midpoint is 17 degree Aquarius. Amor at 1 degree Gemini, our Moon/Jupiter midpoint in 2 degree Gemini. Is that too stretchy because they're asteroids?

If anyone would also like to offer interpretations, that'd be great!

Just adding this thread here because it helped answer some of these questions in terms of interpretation, though I'd still love to hear some thoughts. Maybe composite midpoints just aren't as popular to study, ha?
