I see Mars (Virgo) square Mars (Gemini) there. One of the most difficult aspect in synastry. One or both of you eventually always find the other challenging or triggering constant irritation.

I remember reading somewhere that Mars square Mars gives a feeling like when you want to cheat with the person, which means: the sexual attraction is high, adrenaline rushed, an instant gravitation like you feel 'we are on the same page', and it's easily become physical and get drown with it. You almost do not put too much care to know the person first but you follow the sexual attraction and think later.

The problems arise quickly when you decide to live together (in a short term or in a long term, it depends on how much of patience you have until it blows up). It's hard to stay when you don't feel comfort anymore with the present of each other. It's hard to work together as a couple because maybe one or both do not realize how one or both keep challenging their Mars reaction. You can not run from your basic character of your own planet.

Based on my experience seeing couples who choose to separate but people thought they are looking good together or it might seem like that from the outside, so they keep trying and trying until they realize it needs lots of hard work but often failed because you should crush your own ego rather than ask the other person to work together:

1. Moon square Moon
2. Mars square Mars

At the end of the day, a lot of resentment happens. And sometimes one or both can't tell each other the truth until years later, they will say "we're better off as a friend" or "what were I thinking at that time?".

When separate it's easy to see clearly. When closer, you get blind again and keep making frictions.

ASCs are opposite.
Sun conjunct DC
ur Moon conjunct his Sun.

No relationship is perfect, but use ur own experience to judge if u want to get back with him.

It's no wonder that u have a child together.

It explains some things about the break up, we did end up trying to work things out after this post was made but ultimately I was still very upset and couldn't get over certain things in the past that had happened.

@mee_chryssa thank you for that interpretation, I do take it into account. I'm just wondering if we will ever be able to reconcile for sure and get over our hardships.

I was just wondering if this is not about a back and forth movement in ur relationship which can be explained by the opposite ASCs. The opposition does that, even though is very attractive and u complement each other very well. But because is the ASC, ur whole lives are experienced in opposite states. Like Saturn transits to the 2nd and 8th houses. One could lack money and depend on the partner and the other one could work harder to maintain it. Or one being concentrated on career (10th house) and the other on home (4th house).

That's the thing with the opposition. Is really attractive, because you complement each other, but it's a never ending wish for a coming together which will never come, but you both work and wish for it.

If this is the case, you could just accept it that there will be many moments like this.

I see the pattern in Mars square Mars relationship. Usually one or both would end up cheating, physically or emotionally, they admit it or not, but it happens eventually.

I would like to share some of my relationship story, because my husband had a long time Mars square Mars relationship (six or seven years) before he met me.

He did cheat on that relationship and chased me during the difficult time of his relationship with his ex. He showed me he was serious by introduced me to his family especially to his Mom only after a month.

Short story short, I found out he had two relationship at the same time. I asked him to tell me the truth and he told me, she ended things with him and he chased me having a relationship with me, then she came back for reconciliation and he was in the middle of confusion but he accepted the reconciliation.

He felt the relationship with her was draining, because they had a lot of fight and he didn't feel good or comfortable being himself in the relationship anymore. He didn't know if he could see the future with her because there were some trust issue too as he claimed, she cheated first (she told me it was true though but begging him for forgiveness and he gave her another chance). He ended up doing the same thing, but he didn't think he cheated on her because in his mind, their relationship was over before he started seeing me. Only sympathy was left for her as there was a guilty feeling he carried on.

The day of our marriage, during our pillow talk, he cried saying: "if I could turn the time, I would not be in another relationship other than with you" (he started sobbing). I admit that I don't usually believe Gemini influence people (after some experience with them), but that time, the only time I truly felt he was genuine about his feelings that there were a lot of hurts feeling too inside of him and he had hurt me along the way.

If I see their composite, their composite is GOOD. It's a love composite. But the Mars square Mars is really a great deal in synastry, don't even try with Moon square Moon unless you want a friendship then it may work.

I have seen numerous Mars square Mars relationship, it didn't end well eventually. I finally can understand how irritate it can be when I had a conflict with someone whose Mars square my Mars. I immediately disappear or creating space or boundaries.
