This man I’m seeing has his Leo stellium in my 2nd house, and I always feel like cuddling with him, hugging him, touching him, being by his side all the time, never letting him go, always holding onto his arm, etc.

But the catch is, I was never like this with anyone else. With my last BF I wasn’t this needy physically? In fact I usually wanted my own space a lot of the time. So I’m wondering if 2nd house synastry causes this constant need for physical touch within the relationship, and if anyone else has experienced the same?

You are most likely Cancer rising. Cancer likes to hold on to things, so the 2nd house of possession may be more significant to Cancer than to other signs and may explain why you feel that way toward this person.

Haha, yes I am! Yes, I think that makes sense. I suppose Leo ruling my 2nd house contributes to the extra possessiveness, possibly? I wonder if there are other signs in the 2nd house that’d produce a similar effect, but I’m not sure. I guess other fixed signs, minus Aquarius, if I had to guess.

Leo itself is not necessarily a possessive sign.

But Leo rules the Sun. Is your Sun in a possessive sign like Scorpio, Taurus, Cancer, even Aries (me, mine) or Pisces?

Yeah, I see what you mean by fixed signs...There will be some possessiveness with Leo... though Leo is also very generous, so he can give a lot, as long as he feels appreciated and respected...

This makes me giggle. I've veerrrry clingy! My 2nd house in in Gemini; I think I only have Vesta in it.
My first big crush was a Gemini, and he was avoidant-attached. Poor dude ran for the hills.
Now, I cringe, but yeah. Second-house makes me wanna pounce.
And if I have friends that are Geminis, I want to be around them constantly! I love their energy.
Now, I try to calm it down. Lol.

Thank you for contributing your experience! Wow, with a sign like Gemini I wouldn’t expect something like clinginess to appear. This makes me think that it’s more so due to it being from the 2nd house, rather than the sign!

Something about the 2nd house in synastry makes a person want to cling onto the other. I’d assume it’s usually the house person that feels this urge to cling rather than the planet person, since both of our experiences of this have the other person’s personal planets come into OUR 2nd house.

The 2H definitely has something to do with this. 👌🏽 2H synastry often points to high physical attraction to someone's BODY - not just the 1H. Does it always mean that you will be clingy? It depends on the person, as this can play out in a variety of ways. But this is the House associated with TAURUS after all. 💋 From what I've seen... it often brings the desire for cuddling, sensually caressing, and outright physically devouring your partner.

I think I'll make a separate post about my experiences with 2H synastry overall. 👍🏾
