I am really looking for some help and I'm not sure if this is the right board. My boyfriend tried to commit suicide on Tuesday. is there a way to read a chart for that day and time? Problem, I don't have his DOB, he was orphaned.

I am not great at chart reading maybe someone can interpret for me? I'm not even sure how to generate a chart for his transits on that date.

The birth time is what determines the ASC and therefore all the houses. Without it it's hard to draw a chart unless we erect one which is time consuming and, well, hard. It's done based on life events.

However, maybe try drawing a horary chart for Tuesday and we can look at aspects that way?

I think this is right, I put in the time he did it and place.

But this doesn't show his transits?

That is pretty awful news FireDragon, I meant to offer condolences in my initial post!

A horary chart won't necessarily show transits because it's bascially creating a birth chart for your question / mindset. It's just a natal chart, so all you have to do is select "natal chart and transits*" from the drop down menu on Astro.com and that will show transits along with that day's configuration.

Hanna is right about the birth chart. We can't analze his natal and transits without having his TOB. In his case knowing the houses and which planets were transiting them would be very important.

I can suggest making casting a horary chart asking if he will attempt suicide again in the future? I think that may be the only insight you can get from this astrologically speaking since no TOB. I'm so sorry
