It's too bad darkdreamer doesn't seem to be around anymore.

If anyone knows of a great Vedic software program that will also allow someone to do synstry (or matching) with navamsa charts. (ie: Person A's Navamsa with Person B's Rasi chart or even Person A's Navamsa with Person B's Navamsa.) PLEASE let me know. I don't know if any programs do this.

I used to already KNOW this, and now I have to relearn again.

Sorry I don`t know of any astrology program, but there might be a Vedic software who does that, comparing Navamsas. I have to do them in Solar fire and print them out and compare them manually. Which I love doing actually, as it helps me focus.

Yes it shows the right positions. BUT of course the houses are all messed up, and you have to adjust the image in your mind, considering that the 1st house starts at 00° of where your 9th harmonic ASC is placed in.

For example let`s say your aSC in Navamsa is 15 degree Leo, then 1st house starts at 00 Leo, 2nd house at 00 Virgo etc. (whole sign houses of course)

I also recommend the you tube videos from KRSchannel.
Of course I can`t be totally sure (as I am too much of a novice myself), but he sounds convincing and I like his way of presenting his bits of information.

I think the most useful 'clues, insights... points' Vedic astrology postulates are definitely: 1( The usage of House Lords.
( Ex. Lord of 5th House in House 10th ) Combinating House/Planets while giving interpretation is quite an 'eye-opener' experience.
2. Dasha System: To put it very, very simple: Dasha System explores the cycles of the Moon.
And this is when we start to talk about Nakshatras. Nakshatras explore the predisposition to a peculiar behavior in the subject in question. ( Very similar to the theory of multiple intelligences and/or Myer-Briggs type indicator of personality and potentials )

I agree with that. Some of the interpreations can be so offputting, overshadowing the merit that is certainly to be found in this branch of astrology.
