I decided I’m going to stop publicly posting about vedic because I realized the government wants to keep it a secret so I’m only going to refer to my chart as Vedic for now on. and I’ll stop openly talking about vedic. I don’t want to cause any problems. IP: Logged |

Hi Desiringshadows. For me it's a work in progress, learning who I am and how it's reflective from my natal. Recently I've learned how my Mars effects me. He's in my Pisces house. Most pronounced is that I'm generally lackadaisical. I did also discover the real reason I'm massively a romantic, which in tropical never made sense. Aqua Moon and Venus aren't flowery in the least! Then finding them in Capricorn with my vedic wheel. Certainly not the romantic side with so much Saturn! Obviously this facet (Pisces Mars) balances out my goat side, creating a softer edge to self. I am also very isolated in nature, which my Jupiter in 11th used to give me an extremely gregarious nature; however once I got a taste of reading and quieter exposure, I felt more natural being alone, less a social butterfly. I do also struggle with the darker side of Neptune (addictions). In the end understanding this is half the battle. So glad I am seeing my self better now that vedic can better show me.Then there's a trine from mars in my chart to my 12th house Neptune. This is likely the answer to most my extrasensory side as well my fantasy side. The lines can blur, Neptune and the fog can be a nuisance. IP: Logged |

Aren't we allowed to study these (vedic, helio etc) because they're merely another perspective? IP: Logged |

That’s great! Awesome placements! Sorry I had to edit it I’m a night owl and I didn’t sleep at all last night. 😱 LOLI’m a Scorpio moon but I like you have a weak mars. It’s in libra and my drive is very low. Like I have trouble remaining focused on goals long term. But my scorpio moon is very very passionate and emotionally I care way too much about people. Same for my scorpio descendant that’s very much a contrast compared to the other descendant dudes I’ve dated. They all wanted space or didn’t take me as seriously as us water moons like that closeness when we are committed. I don’t think it’s primarily the mars house placement because mine is in the 6th and it’s a weak mars also so maybe it’s the sign?? I don’t relate to sagittarius moon as I don’t love learning random things and also because I’m not cheerful and happy all of the time. I’m very serious and sometimes I can get depressed. Also I bet if I was a Sagittarius moon I wouldn’t be passionately studying and adoring astrology since 2014? Lol. I’d be long past it by now!! ------------------ Sun Virgo/Moon Scorpio/Ascendant Taurus 😉😎💕 IP: Logged |

Of course we are. I’m just a big fan of social media and I recently discovered it’s a propaganda device and that they edit my posts and stalk me. So I’m a little paranoid lately. But this forum section should definitely be used.❤️ IP: Logged |

Jyeshtha literally means ''the eldest'' , pada 2 will fall in the sign of Capricorn in the D9 chart, you'd have moon in cap in D9.IP: Logged |

i don't entirely identify with my vedic chart (or my tropical) venus in particular i don't find very fitting at all, my ascendant not really either by sign but it being chitra nakshatra fixes that one a bithttps://imgur.com/a/DNq5UJG but i think my mars is more fitting vedic than tropical (sag rather than capricorn) revati for my moon works sun i dont really relate much to either way but it's 12th house which makes sense it goes along well with my western chart though and says most of the same stuff with greater depth in some areas (not as much in others) ive never gotten a particularly impressive vedic reading though in all honesty IP: Logged |

I've barely scratched the surface.. but what I've learned about my Vedic positions has definitely helped me understand myself, and others. As doomy as some things are presented in astrology in-general, looking at my Vedic positions actually gave me MORE hope than I once had. So much clearer. And, this understanding transfers over towards the western tropical too. Didn't realize how locked and stale some of my personal assessments were, until I began to recognize and fold-in the Vedic meanings. At one point, I "happened" to catch a free-offer for my western chart interpreted by an astrologer familiar with western AND hindi understandings. He allowed the Vedic to influence his western interpretations, and it opened another floor of understanding energies. I look forward to being able to delve even deeper to my studies, (during times my environment allows ~~). Just "hold space" for each model to be true. Not just separate pieces. Each piece should eventually speak a synergized thought-field-- in ensemble with the others. Look at all the Beautiful Facets, like a large clear cut-crystal-- All wonderful dimensions, of You! It's ALL Good. Every bit of it. Warts and All! You're One-of-a-Kind. IP: Logged |

a blend of the two systems works well from what i've noticed, where one system fails the other can be used if western gives you more hope than vedic never learn fixed stars IP: Logged |

haha. Too late!! I got into Fixed Stars a few years ago, and THAT's cool too!! Just, don't take things 'so literally'. You have to understand how ancient that system is. Works for ~me! Fixed Stars give great Insights. I guess I'm an eclectic? BUT, I think you have to let the systems 'stand' as their own form. Don't mix rules of one with the other. Let them stand-alone. Draw the juice of meanings from the separate forms, THEN, sense these as one ensemble. Like voice-sections in acapella choirs. Can be its own melody, but when added to the other sections, creates Impressions. Ohhhh yess… And you get to decide what comes forward, and what needs to be more background. (Listening to thick luscious choir music here right now.)

Dumuzi-- please try not to be automatically whole-quoting what I say. Sometimes I like to clarify my sentences. When you whole-quote, you are quoting unfinished material that needs editing. When I post at LL, I deal with a lot of interference in my environment. I get severe headaches, and what I write might not be written as 'clearly' as I thought it was. Please allow me the space to edit and clarify thoughts. IP: Logged |
