It got really long.

Anyhoo... I was just thinking... I get pretty nice tips at work. I could start doing this with a % of my tips.

Great idea! You wouldn't even miss 10 percent of your tips--and they should steadily grow.

Philbird......the giving is the main part of the blessing and the results will be the same as if you had written on the bills...always, it is the heart motive

A snippet from Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

quote:
My Rich dad gave money as well as education. He believed firmly in tithing. "If you want something, you first need to give," he would always say. When he was short of money, he simply gave money to his church or to his favorite charity.

If I could leave one single idea with you, it is that idea. Whenever you feel "short" or in "need" of something, give what you want first and it will come back in buckets. That is true for money, a smile, love, friendship. I know it is often the last thing a person may want to do, but it has always worked for me. I just trust that the principle of reciprocity comes back in multiples. I want sales, so I help someone else sell something, and sales come to me. I want contacts and I help someone else get contacts, and like magic, contacts come to me. I heard a saying years ago that went, "God does not need to receive, but humans need to give."

I off to Boarders to look for some more financial books. (and my youngest needs a new chapter book... she finished James and the Giant Peach last night).

I'm going to pop a few singles into some "get rich quick" type books.

I Boarders. Could spend all day there.

Hi tuxedo meow! I've been very lucky here and there. Dont hesitate, go out and put some bills out there! In some form or another, it always comes back. Even if it didnt, it just feels good to know you might have made someone happy or helped them out a bit. And just take your sister as an example! It works!

I did this with my 7 year old neice one day I wrote the blessing and she put it in a bucket for a Charity outside the Super Market, then we left another one in a Cloths Store! I also was in the Book Store and left one inside a book about Fibromyalgia cause I was reading about it and thought I had it but it turned out that I don't, just Tension, Fatigue!

Not sure if it worked but I did get my Car fixed and a ex-boyfriend paid the $1200 it cost to fix it! Which took a lot of Stress off me!

if its true that anything written after I AM comes true, would it also work with YOU ARE? because i was thinking how sweet it would be to find a money note that said something like
YOU ARE beautiful
or
YOU ARE always loved..
any thoughts..?

the "you are loved" note is also nice!

after reading this forum, i immediately left bills at the church with a post-it note. i didn't want to write on the money.

thanks to the thread starter, i have now decided to do at least one random act of kindness each day

it feels so great!!! thanks!
