Good onya Trill Hey Randall, remember what Linda said about 'break a leg'? Where's that white out? ------------------ "And dreams, don't ever forget, are the first step in manifesting wishes into reality"-- Linda Goodman's Star Signs IP: Logged |

i have an issue on occasion with writer's block.. from experience i can say that writing line after line of crapola sometimes snaps me out of it, or i'll doodle.. maybe write one word that sounds nice to me,like "ponder" or then fancy it up for a while.. ya know.. flowers and bubbles and swirlies... if you can get your creative mind doing something.. chances are you'll get past the block. also, i read earlier that the artist's way was recommended.. i own that one, have yet to get into it though.. seems to be a great tool if you're not a commitment-phobe. i really liked "writing down the bones" by natalie goldberg.. Hi Navia, why don't you drop me an email at trillian@Linda-Goodman.com. I'm pretty sure that's the correct address. If you have any trouble, let me know. The genre of my first novel is probably "Chick Lit," though my friends would tell you it is more accurately a modern romance. The new book I'm working on would probably be defined as Women's Literature, simply because it's not something men would generally enjoy reading. Its subject matter is far more...intense than my first. Thank you for your interest, Navia, and I would certainly like to hear about your work. IP: Logged |

Btw, Navia, I've thought for some time that the main character in my 1st novel deserves a follow-up novel; perhaps even a trilogy. I like to think she's quirky and fun, and has some interesting adventures ahead of her. IP: Logged |

A post I was reading on a blog that's new to me, reminded me of this thread. I thought some of you might be interested in the rest of his blog (he writes about things such as synchronicity and "What the Bleep"). http://timeline326.blogspot.com/2005/01/things-im-not-writing-about_23.html http://timeline326.blogspot.com/2005/01/this-means-something.html Angie IP: Logged |
