Sounds more like fun. And less risky. Doctors can be ruined by hospital politics, law suits, even the DEA in the USA (too many painkillers, you know), and are surely exposed to a lot that puts stress on their mind and body. And should you mess up in your career (misdiagnoses and honest mistakes ruin and destroy lives every year), there's less guilt to be gained as what you'll pursue than if you were a doctor. Plus, you can make people feel a lot better as a comedian, dancer, and actor than as a doctor (even when you do good as a doctor, you'll probably make a lot of people feel worse or stressed out). Though if you become wildly successful as an actor then all bets are off. They're put in the public eye, goaded into eating disorders, and surounded by all that intense drama (probably brought about by the legal & illegal drugs, eating disorders, obsessive fans, stalkers, and public eye--and then mixing with others who are under the same intense pressures). Should you become that successful, RUN. And whatever you do, don't do anything excessively stupid or criminal as that will only add to your fame and demand. IP: Logged |
