People use LOA every day--to attract what they really don't want to manifest.

Yeah, good stuff LOA.

You have to put blind faith into what ever your manifesting, for it to manifest. For me, LOA works a treat. However, when trying to attract money, you have to do so without an agenda ie; desperation, second guessing etc....., as this will halt any attraction you have initiated. It has to be consistant, blind faith that you already have it for it to manifest in the first place.

For example, It's easier to attract money when you already have money, this is because you already have that unwavering feeling of having money, which is paramount in manifesting financial abundance, or anything else you desire. In comparison to not having money in the first place; it's harder to synthesise that feeling of abundance as it's usually shadowed by the previously mentioned negatives.

Let's say you get paid on the last Friday every month; you know that money is going to be in your bank without question, you know it's going to be available for you to use, you don't think "oh no, what if my wage doesn't go in this month" right? So if you apply this way of thinking of unwavering blind faith, this in turn will catalyse your manifestation powers. Does this make sense?

LOA is fun. In addition, it's simple too - just follow what feels good.

Anyway, I dont like the Hicks too. I fnd them dodgy.

Ohhh, I got a special mention by CPN.
Yes, I believe I'm good at manifesting. And I think my belief reinforces my manifesting abilities.

I like Abraham. They were the first non-physical (i.e. channeled) source I came across when I first got started in all this manifesting stuff. Then I got introduced to Seth and then to Bashar. Together, they helped me understand LOA better.

My advice to Mia is to exercise your belief muscles. Like what Delos said, start with something that is realistic for YOU. And don't focus on the $4million. Focus on the end results, like what it would look like, how it would feel like etc. Set your sight on the end goal and let the universe handle the "how-to" part.

And I suggest you read The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy. If you go to Amazon and read the reviews, you will see that many people strongly recommend the book.

Thanks Deux*Antares for the tip on the book. I found a pdf copy online so I will read it. The book must be very popular because when I was looking online to see if I could check the book out at my library, it was already checked out at numerous locations. The book was made in the 1980's i believe and people are still reading it to this day. Things like that are a good sign to me

I just wanted to add my 2 cents as well.

I recently read the book, now I can't say I believe all of it but I do understand the conecpt and I do believe that it does work.

The main thing I took away is being positive, and instead of saying I wish I had ___ I've changed it to man that's gonna be so awesome cause it's coming and it's ready and i am so excited!

I have found things are manifesting but more importantly, I really am just pure positice all the time.

I don't know how soon or how slow, not that 4mil is wishful thinking, but I agree with the others be realistic.

If you are stuck on that find a means of getting the 4mil and concentrate on that such as a lottery or what have you.

I don't think man I want a job, I think I'm getting a job it's coming and it's out there and it's mine! Then I imagine myself there and what I want out of it.

But, if I ran around saying boy do I wanna be an astronaut! That wont work for me because you see I didn't go to school for anything that remotely would send me off in space. But if I said boy I want to be a an EMT, that's sensible because I went to school for it.

I guess what I'm saying is, less or alot. I don't personally believe sitting and saying I want a brand new car will work, you need to focus on the means and way to get that brand new car.

I do believe God- what I call him or Source for anyone else or w/e you call it wants the best for us, but I also believe it's a bad mentality to just assume you can get anything you want because you want it.

Practice makes perfect, studying makes you smart, thinking makes you wonder and question and search, every action has a reaction. But, if there is no action to start- ie if there is absolutely no way YOU can get 4mil, there can not be a reaction to it. Does that make sense? I am sorry if I am rambling.

My goals are short and simple now, lose some weight, eat healthier, get a GREAT job, and after that job a house and a car becuase I need the job to get the rest. Know what I mean jellybean?

I'm a fan of the law of attraction. Not like I've read any of the books or anything.

I was homeschooled my sophmore year. And went to a homeschooler group every Friday. And took a class about the 7 habbits for highly effectie teens.

I got 2 things out of that class!
(who knows if this is even in this book)

1.The Vision Board. It felt great to have a teacher tell me to make 8 squares and right something I want in each one. And then cut out pics from magazines to decorate the other side. It just felt great to be told to express what I want out of life. I mean come on that stuff isn't really important to most highschool teachers. Well with my first vision board, I was able to have a big birthday party.
I'm pretty addicted to making vision boards. For me almost everything I've put on a vision board has come true. Or closser to what I want. (I still have never tryed or made hash brownies yet. haha)
It's crazy I'll put something on it, thats totally ridiculous and impossible sounding on there. And it comes into my life quicker than I ever thought it would. Some stuff happens quicker than other stuff.
Some stuff doesn't happen exactly the way you want it, but it happens to be pretty darn close.
Sometimes you'll find out why something is not ment to be. Like that guy I had a crush on just came out of the closset. We are still friends though. lol
Sometimes on vision boards the LOA is telling me be carefull what you wish for...! lol Like when I desperately didn't want to live with my parents and moved in with an ex boyfriend. That was a nightmare for the most part. But I'm still glad I did it cause I learned alot. And grew up alot from that. And I'm thankfull for my parents now, and will move out again when the time is right and wont force it the next time.

2. Write on a peice of paper something you want out of you life...and then burn it. Yes I got to do this in the class. She had this tiny thing...to do it in...I wouldn't know what it's called since my parents aren't into hip stuff like that. lol The first time I did it, it worked. So then I became addicted to doing that too. hahaha. That freaked out my parents. My mom even told my therepist back when I had one, that I was doing that. lololol Like I was attempting witch craft or something. But yea my mom never liked me and my sister doing anything with fire in the house. Not even candles.

"All my life I've had one dream, to achieve my many goals." -Homer Simpson

LoL Now that's a quote that is fun to live by! Cause if you have too many goals/dreams to even count at least a few of them are bound to come true.

Yes!
I always say;
"I AM A WRITER"
And will have my books published.

However I must finish them!

I say;
"I WILL BE ABLE TO WALK WITHOUT A CANE SOON"

I must keep working on regaining my stamina despite often agonizing pain.
This means hard work and chiropractic but my DR. agrees, I will walk unaided again.
Of course still disabled, but will not require the cane as much, or at all!

Some summonings take time.
Must let things unfold at a natural pace.

I do not feel I drew bad things to me however.
I feel that is just life.
Shite happens.
However;
I DO BELIEVE I ATTRACTED AND ATTRACT THE GOOD THINGS AND IN TIME I HAVE SEEN THINGS DO EVENTUALLY WORK OUT IN MY LIFE TO DATE!

The being disabled does get me down.
But in betwixt bad moments I get right back up so to speak.
Like the night was horrible.
But I rode the bads out, and here I am!

Patience is required.
And recognizing opportunities for change and going for it!

Like I say;
I WILL MOVE OUT OF THE U.S.A. IF THAT IS THE BEST THING FOR MY FUTURE HAPPINESS.
IF IT IS THE BEST THING FOR ME;
MY MOVING OUT OF AMERICA WILL GO EASILY AND I WILL BE ABLE TO EFFORTLESSLY AFFORD IT!

At this time that is my plan based on things and people in my life at this time.
So far it does appear I will be moving to another country in the not too far future!

PS.
I admit though I do not like the Hicks.

Great thread everyone!
Starw loving your vision boards

I have recently come across the LOA and I agree
you have to visualize you actually have the item and talk about it in a positive way avoinding negative word eg can't, will not , unhappy etc so turn the phrase around.

Also cosmic ordering is similar concept write what you want and then forget about it leave it to the cosmos to deliver
Good luck everyone !
